Some information from Toviki - Tomsk wiki

Burial grounds- a village in the Kozhevnikovsky district of the Tomsk region, part of the Urtamsky rural settlement.

The population is about 10 inhabitants, most of them are Russians.

The village is located on the left bank of the Tagan River, in the Ob floodplain, 26 km from Kozhevnikov, 126 km from Tomsk. From Tomsk you can get to Mogilniki by driving along the Shegarsky tract to the Shegarsky bridge, across the Ob, then turning south to the village of Urtam. From the village of Urtam you can get to the village of Mogilniki in the summer through the ferry crossing on the Ob River and in the winter along the established ice crossing.

There are two main streets left of the village.

Transport and communications

A minibus runs from the Tomsk bus station to Urtam once a day and twice from the regional center of Kozhevnikovo. From Urtam to Mogilniki the last 11 km along country roads and through the ferry crossing to the Ob River there are no scheduled services. Postal code 636170. The village is located within stable cellular communications of Wellcom and Beeline operators. There are no electrical networks or other communications in the village.

The burial grounds are primarily known for the clusters of ancient burials located along the entire banks of the Ob and Tagan. One of the ancient villages in close proximity from the extreme street of the village is called Baraba. According to the stories of the Novosibirsk archaeologists of the NSU expedition, who had previously conducted excavations there, residents of the Baraba settlement buried their dead parents in the walls of the guarding rampart so that the spirits of their dead ancestors would protect ancestral settlement. Neolithic people loved to decorate themselves with beads made from animal teeth. In a burial ground near the village of Mogilniki, rounded bone beads were found, well polished, with a drilled hole for threading a leather cord.

A fishing artel was previously created in the village. The Tagan River was famous as the most fish-rich river in the south of the Tomsk region. After the creation of the Tomsk Muskrat Reserve in the 1970s, commercial fishing was banned, and the river began to be overgrown with grass. The Canadian muskrat did not take root and was exhausted, but created in Soviet time new organization it was already impossible to destroy. The subsequently created Tomsk state reserve excluded all fishing activities for villagers. No other jobs were created for the villagers, which doomed the village to extinction. The administration of the Kozhevnikovsky district took an unprecedented step and, by its decision, excluded this village from the list settlements Kozhevnikovsky district. Let us remember the Stalinist principle: “No man, no problem!”

However, residents loyal to their village remained in it and live subsidiary farming(cultivating a garden, raising animals). Vegetables and tobacco are grown in the gardens. Horses are grazed in the floodplain meadows in the summer. And with the advent of the adventure youth project Last Hero in Tomsk and winter seasonal marked ski routes accept tourist groups of schoolchildren and youth for a stay.
Attractions

Attractions near the village: Tagan River, Romochkino Lake, ancient settlement(settlement) Baraba (a place called “Salting” by locals).

Tourism
The village is included in a string of active and sports routes and is part of the “Taiga Triangle” of the Ob-Tom interfluve. Visited by amateurs and sports groups tourists. There are routes through the village, including visits to the Nikolsky and Irinsky pine forests, the Borki settlement along the floodplain of the Tagan River, as well as the Lower Lakes, the village and lake of Kirek, the village of Berezovaya Rechka.

Interesting activities: inspection of the village of Baraba, recreation in the village, sport fishing on the Tagan River, amateur active extreme, adventure and sports tourism (hiking, skiing, water - on motor and rowing boats, kayaks). The surrounding taiga is rich in pine cones and berries.

Village prospects

The village has every chance of becoming a center of environmental, extreme and sports tourism And active rest, a place of pilgrimage for sport fishing enthusiasts. The transfer of amateur routes to a planned mode will make the village investment attractive for organizing tourism and fishing enterprises (but having looked at the village personally, I will say that these prospects are fabulous)

" Long road to Tagan"
or
"About the dangers of the Internet "
or
"Two Troubles of Russia"

Part 1

After reading a post on the City by citizen Vasya about a trip to Mogilniki (), we really wanted to visit the Tagan River and try to catch something there. Title of the Most Fishy River in the South Tomsk region excited the imagination and beckoned us on our way.
In ancient times, I had the opportunity to hunt drakes in the spring for several years in a row. hunting grounds Tomsk air squad. These lands were located on the left bank of the Ospa - the right tributary of the Tagan, not far from Mogilniki. Along the winter road, they delivered a barrel of gasoline to friends in Mogilniki ahead of time to refuel the motorboats. And on motorboats, which were stored in the winter at the airport pioneer camp (just above Pobeda), they went up the Ob, up the Tagan and Ospa. The place was full of ducks, and we weren’t left without fish.
So the post awakened memories and uncontrollably pulled me on the road. The rest of the participants had never been there before, which only increased their desire to see such tempting places. It's decided - let's go! The “loaf” is filled to capacity with gas and gasoline, stuffed with food, sleeping bags, and tents. Cables, a chain winch, a rack jack, two shovels, a chainsaw and an ax were carefully taken. Let's hit the road!

1. Main Driver. If it were possible to post a video, I would use the term "Chief Pilot" :)

2. Navigator, part-time co-pilot.

3. On the left is the Head of the fishing team, on the right is the Best Assistant.

4. The best assistant and the old fisherman.

5. Reliable security guard. True, there are some doubts about reliability. When, on a trip to Kirek, we met a mother bear and her cub, the guard ran away ahead of everyone like an arrow, silently and with her ears pinned back.

6. In full accordance with the fundamental article on the Internet, we laid out a route to Urtam, where the ferry should be.

7. When entering Urtam, we noticed a car on the roof.

8. It turned out that there was a whole exhibition of old cars nearby.

9. We don’t know what is in the gazebo covered with a camouflage net in the background, but the inscription on it states that “it” is closed.

10. All the local residents interviewed confidently sent us to the ferry crossing to the upstream part of Urtam. But when we got there, we watched complete absence ferry availability. The most conscious part of the expedition went to study the map again, the less conscious part went to the “Kazanka” on the shore.

11. Upon careful study of the map, it turned out that there are two ferry crossings

They got lost for a long time, but they didn’t find the second ferry either. We decided to return to Kozhevnikovo and try to cross there.

12. We found a ferry crossing quite quickly. But the ferryman had a lot of work to do, and the bosses showed up. The crossing was a bummer. Perhaps in Urtam ferries run during the haymaking season and then finish their work.

We decided to drive ten kilometers downstream from Kozhevnikovo, set up camp, try fishing in the Ob River and spend the night.

13. And here is the first fish - at the market in Kozhevnikovo. Somewhat cheaper than in Tomsk, and much fresher :)

14. We are leaving the road.

15. Small break for rest and natural needs.

16. View of the Ob from the shore. The shore is sealed, but if you stand in the water, it begins to suck.

17. The tents are set up.

It got significantly warmer and the midges came out. We spray it with Biban from time to time, but it doesn’t help much. We switch to Pavlovsky grids and water them generously with fresh tar. We are watching positive effect. IN large quantities annoying wasps. By the way, in Urtam, on the banks of the Ob, they also pestered me a little. We set up five hooks with two or three hooks each, a mesh screen, and pick up two float rods and a spinning rod. The place is quite lively - fishermen periodically drive up and try their luck. From them we learn a lot of new things: that here you need to fish for maggots, and not for worms, that the spoon should be smaller, and not rotating, but oscillating. But since the newcomers don’t have anything going for them, we calm down and don’t take their advice to heart.

18. Arrogantly took an old reel for spinning, being too lazy to look for an inertia-free reel.

The last time I fished with such a reel was five years ago. And even then I used it mainly as a path, letting it out from the side behind the kayak. It turned out that the ability to cast a spoon with such a reel needs to be renewed periodically. It's not like swimming or riding a bike - just learn it once and you won't forget. And then, from the very first cast, he got a magnificent “beard” and spent a long time unraveling it, shyly hiding from the other fishermen. And he beat his fingers and threw them in the wrong direction...

19. It’s getting dark, and occasionally we remove one or two ruffs the size of a little finger from the tucks.

20. A hearty snack - and around the tents.

21. Armchairs from the salon create a cozy and relaxed atmosphere.

22. “The morning is painted with a delicate color...”

23. Let's go check the nooks and crannies.

24. Another brush, and a miracle - the spoon that was torn off yesterday has returned!

25. During the night it brought a lot of sif. The entire shore is covered in foam, but it is not greasy. But when a school of ibis entered the Far Eastern Marine Reserve and the entire fishing fleet rushed there, such disgust came from the floating fish processing plant... All the shores of the nearest bays were covered with a foul-smelling, greasy foam.

We wind up the snatches and collect the gear. It's time to have breakfast, pack up the tents and move on to Great Dream- Tagan! :)

26. The morning coolness invigorates.

27. Masha liked the beekeeper’s hat.

28. We collect our small catch (in total we caught 15 pipe cleaners and 2 dace).

29. The red circle marks (approximately) the place where we spent the night.

We decide to return to Pobeda, get to Kireevsk and from there along old road try to get to Molchanovo, and if you’re lucky, then to Mogilniki.

30. We passed Kireevsk.

31. After the fork at Molchanovo, the road deteriorated sharply.

32. A shovel was used.

Since the story turned out to be rather long, I decided, in order not to tire the reader, to divide the content equally into two parts. So, end of the FIRST part.
