Pedagogical technology is the most important tool of pedagogical technology, since it provides teachers and educators with the opportunity to achieve harmony between the content of professional activity and its external manifestation. Mastery of pedagogical techniques allows teachers and educators to more effectively solve the problems of teaching, upbringing, and interact with students. With the help of specific techniques and means, a teacher can vividly, imaginatively and expressively convey to schoolchildren and students their thoughts, feelings, civic and professional values.

Technology in reference literature is characterized as “a set of techniques used in any business or skill” (Dictionary of the Russian Language; edited by Prof. L.I. Skvortsov. M.: Onyx, 2007. P. 559). In pedagogical dictionaries, pedagogical technique is defined as a complex of general pedagogical and psychological skills of a teacher, helping him to achieve optimal results in his work (Zagvyazinsky V.I.), as a set of techniques and means aimed at clear and effective organization of training sessions (Rapatsevich E.S.) , as a set of skills and abilities that ensure optimal behavior of the teacher and his effective interaction with children in various pedagogical situations (Kodzhaspirova G.M.).

The term “pedagogical technique” was introduced into the circulation of pedagogical science and practice by the famous domestic teacher A.S. Makarenko in the 20s of the last century. A.S. Makarenko emphasized that “Pedagogical skills can be brought to a greater degree of perfection, almost to the degree of technology” (Makarenko A.S. From work experience // Pedagogical works. in 8 volumes. T.4. M., 1984. pp. 368-369). Developing this idea, the teacher emphasized that such “trifles”: how to stand, how to sit, how to get up from a chair, from the table, how to raise your voice, smile, how to look became decisive in his professional activity. The art of voice production, the art of tone, glances, turns - all this is necessary, and without this there cannot be a real educator.

V.A. Sukhomlinsky paid great attention to pedagogical technology in the professional activities of teachers. The outstanding humanist teacher emphasized that the ability to control oneself, control oneself, and set oneself up for an intimate conversation with students contributes to the effective organization of the educational process. V.A. Sukhomlinsky paid special attention to the ability to communicate with students. “I am firmly convinced,” the teacher wrote, “that many conflicts, often ending in great misfortune, have their source in the teacher’s inability to speak with the student” (Sukhomlinsky V.A. Sketches on communist education // People’s education. 1967. No. 2. P. 42).

In modern Russian pedagogy, issues of pedagogical technology were developed in the works of A. Gin, V.A. Kan-Kalika, A.A. Leontyeva, L.I. Ruvinsky, N.E. Shchurkova. Experts distinguish two main groups of skills in pedagogical technology. The first group is associated with the ability to manage oneself, the second – with the ability to manage other people, primarily students and pupils. Teacher-theorists include self-management skills in speech technique and culture, including breathing and voice control, diction, logic and expressiveness of speech. A master teacher is distinguished by the ability to speak competently, beautifully and clearly, while using non-verbal, in particular, paralinguistic means: to expressively intonate his speech, to accurately express thoughts and feelings in words. Another element of pedagogical technology is plastic. Plasticity includes mastery of the body, including the ability to pedagogically and expediently use facial expressions, gestures, posture, posture, and movements in communicating with students. An expressive look, an encouraging or ironic smile, a precise gesture, a friendly posture often turn out to be more effective means of communication in pedagogical interaction than verbose explanations or remarks.

An important role in the pedagogical process is played by the teacher’s ability to manage his emotional (mental) state, maintain an optimal level of emotional (creative) tension and an optimistic, friendly attitude, and organize emotional rest for himself. These skills provide teachers and educators with professional self-control, help maintain a healthy nervous system for many years, and avoid nervous breakdowns, emotional and intellectual overload.

To organize effective pedagogical interaction, the teacher also needs to master some elements of acting and directing skills that will help him, in communicating with students, influence not only their minds, but also their feelings, and most fully convey to them the experience of an emotional and value-based attitude towards the world.

Self-management skills are associated with social-perceptual abilities, which include attention, observation, imagination, control of emotions, and mood. It is important for a teacher to be able to relieve excessive psychological tension by engaging in self-regulation, and to be able to create creative well-being. And finally, an important component in the characterized group of skills is the teacher’s ability to dress in accordance with professional ethics.

The second group of components of pedagogical technology is associated with the ability to influence the individual and the team. These skills reveal the technological side of the process of education and training. These include didactic, organizational, communication skills, the ability to make pedagogically appropriate decisions (Pedagogical skills and pedagogical technologies: a textbook; edited by L.K. Grebenkina, L.A. Baykova. M., 2001. P.73). These issues are discussed in more detail in textbooks on pedagogy and on the theory and methodology of educational activities. In this manual we will focus on characterizing the skills, techniques and tools that a future teacher-educator needs to effectively manage himself.

It should be noted that in interaction with students, all the skills of a teacher, university professor in the field of pedagogical technology are manifested simultaneously. Speech is accompanied by gestures, facial expressions, and movement. Continuous self-observation makes it possible to successfully adjust the selection of expressive means, etc. It is quite difficult for a novice teacher to manage himself in the teaching process. In class, he resembles a person who has ridden a bicycle or driven a car for the first time: he is not sure what to do first and what to do next, he forgets to perform this or that operation, he gets lost, is nervous, and makes mistakes. Although in theory, it would seem that he knows everything quite well. Over time, this confusion passes, but only on condition that the knowledge and skills acquired by the teacher at the university are constantly improved.

A feature of pedagogical technology is that all technical skills are of a pronounced individual and personal nature, i.e. are formed on the basis of the individual psychophysiological characteristics of the teacher. The choice of certain techniques and means of pedagogical technology significantly depends on the age, gender, temperament, character of the teacher, the level of his pedagogical culture, as well as on his state of health and anatomical and physiological characteristics. However, despite the personal uniqueness in the pedagogical process, the teacher and teacher perform certain professional functions, therefore, in the application of pedagogical technology skills, all teachers have much in common. All of them are aimed at training, education and development of the personality of a growing person.

In this regard, it is important to emphasize that the level of development of pedagogical technique skills largely reflects the level of the teacher’s general culture and the pedagogical potential of his personality. If the teacher’s speech is poor and sloppy, if he gives free rein to his emotions on every occasion, is distinguished by bad taste, and is aesthetically deaf, then the most “correct” words and the most “necessary” measures will not have an impact on the minds or feelings of the students.

All of the above gives reason to believe that pedagogical technology is a complex of professional techniques, skills and means that allow a teacher to effectively manage himself, to have an optimal impact on schoolchildren and students during the educational process, and contribute to the productive solution of the problems of teaching, education and personality development.

The effectiveness of the educational process directly depends not only on the teacher’s knowledge of the material being presented, but also on the ability to present this information. Pedagogical technique is the most important component of a teacher’s skill, allowing him to develop and improve in his profession. To understand the essence of this concept, it is necessary to consider it in more detail.

What is pedagogical technology

This term first appeared in textbooks on pedagogy and didactics at the beginning of the last century. Since then, many scientists have been and continue to study it, but they have not come to a consensus on the exact interpretation of this phenomenon. But if we combine all the works of great teachers, we can draw a generalized conclusion.

Thus, pedagogical technology is a set of tools, techniques and methods that help the teacher establish contact with students and correctly present information material. It can be expressed in almost everything that a teacher does: in the way he gives a lecture, how he places the necessary semantic accents, how he attracts the attention of the audience, and puts it in a working mood.

Pedagogical technique is, to some extent, a teaching style. It is based on certain rules, moral standards that the teacher must follow. However, at the same time, each teacher has an individual style.

Components of pedagogical technology

The first teacher who tried to describe the structure of the concept we are considering was A. S. Makarenko. This man entered the educational literature on didactics as the greatest teacher of his time. Of course, over the years he gained followers, and there were many of them. Now, based on the results of accumulated experience, the following components of such a concept as pedagogical technology are distinguished:

  • Perceptual abilities, expressed in the development of memory, imagination and observation.
  • manifested in the ability to establish contact with the audience.
  • The appearance of the teacher (grooming, as well as general style).
  • Ability to use verbal (rich vocabulary, technical literacy) and non-verbal (diction, intonation and semantic accents)

The first thing that reveals the essence of pedagogical technology is clothing. It should be comfortable so as not to hinder the teacher’s movements and not interfere with him performing basic technological operations: moving around the classroom, writing on the board, etc. In addition, it is advisable for the teacher to choose a wardrobe in a restrained, classic style. Otherwise, students will be distracted by the appearance of the teacher, which will prevent them from learning the material.

Other components of the teacher’s style should be in harmony with the clothes: hairstyle, makeup, accessories. Impeccably selected details of the teacher’s image will become an excellent example for students, will develop their taste, and will also arouse sympathy and respect for their teacher.

Teacher control of his speech

Let us return again to our proverb, which interprets that intelligence is the second characteristic by which we are assessed. And since pedagogical technique is primarily oral skill, it is very important for a teacher to be able to correctly express his thoughts. To do this, the teacher needs:

  • be technically literate in the material he explains to his students;
  • observe the correct pronunciation of the text;
  • present information in the simplest and most accessible form;
  • decorate your speech with epithets and metaphors;
  • have a rich vocabulary and good diction;
  • correctly place pauses and semantic stresses.

Particular attention should be paid to the last point. Pauses are necessary in order to attract the attention of listeners and give them time to comprehend what has been said. ABILITY TO INFLUENCE INDIVIDUALS AND COLLECTIVES

1.1 ATTENTION AND OBSERVATION IN THE PEDAGOGICAL PROCESS

Attention is the direction and concentration of a person’s consciousness on certain objects while simultaneously distracting from others. In the work of a teacher, it is important to have a high level of development of all basic qualities of attention:

  • selectivity - the ability to successfully tune (in the presence of possible interference) to the perception of information related to a conscious goal;
  • concentration - the degree of concentration of attention on an object;
  • volume – the number of objects that can be captured by attention at the same time;
  • switching - deliberate transfer of attention from one object to another;
  • distribution - the ability to hold several objects in the sphere of attention at the same time;
  • stability - the duration of concentration of attention on an object.

Observation is a human ability, manifested in the ability to notice significant, characteristic, including subtle properties of objects and phenomena. Observation presupposes curiosity, inquisitiveness and is acquired through life experience.

In a teacher’s activity, a special place is occupied by voluntary attention, that is, the ability to maintain attention on an object, making volitional efforts. Long-term use of voluntary attention leads to increased fatigue and decreased attention span. Therefore, the teacher needs to know techniques that facilitate the use of voluntary attention. These include:

  • emotional attunement – ​​a positive attitude towards active work;
  • attitude towards the relevance of incoming information - if you perceive everything that happens in class as important and necessary in your work, then all information will be easier and faster to perceive;
  • perceiving everything that is happening in the class as the most important thing at the moment - if you distract yourself from thoughts that are not related to the lesson, it will be much easier to concentrate.

One of the important tasks of a teacher is the development of voluntary attention in children. The child’s attention becomes voluntary when the choice of content, the order of examination and the method of control are determined by him based on the objective requirements of the task. Until this moment, the adult performs functions (selects an object from the environment, helps to focus attention on it, avoid unnecessary actions, etc.), which the child will then perform independently.

It is very important for a teacher to develop skills in managing children’s attention. Monotony, routine, and stereotyped actions cause a decrease in attention. Control over untimely actions leads to its intensification and rapid fatigue of the child. It is easier to win and retain attention with unusual, vivid information, specific examples, changes in intonation, tempo and pauses in speech, incomplete information that will make you think, continuous disclosure of new content in the material presented, its new aspects and connections, systematization of the material.

1.2 ABILITY TO LISTEN AND UNDERSTAND YOUR INTERLOCUTOR

A teacher’s ability to communicate with students is one of the keys to his success when organizing work with the class and individual students. Communication is a complex multidimensional process in which contact is established between interlocutors, understanding what they are talking about, coordinating joint actions, transmitting emotional states and other types of influence of people on each other. Knowledge and skillful use of the general communication scheme can provide significant assistance to the teacher in everyday work, when planning and regulating relationships with students.

A communicator is a person who conveys a message. The one who receives the message is the addressee. Both the communicator and the addressee can be represented by one person or a group of people. The interaction between the communicator and the addressee occurs using means of communication: a) means of receiving information (hearing, vision and other analyzers); b) means of transmitting information (speech and non-verbal means).

Both the communicator and the addressee enter into communication only if each of them has goals . Communication is influenced by the conditions in which it occurs: weather and climate, physical, psychological, etc. Content communication, or its subject area, is what is its essence and meaning.

After determining the subject area, the teacher can begin work on its correction.

Perception of a speech message is one of the highest mental functions of a person. This is an extremely complex process that is not directly observable. Humanity has long ago learned to encode various concepts, feelings, actions, etc. using sounds and symbols. Speech communication is the encoding (by the communicator) and decoding (by the addressee) of speech signals that carry a certain meaning. In order to understand the interlocutor, it is not enough just to know the commonly used meanings of the words he speaks. There are two levels in speech perception: a) analysis and synthesis of sounds, b) understanding of speech, i.e. analysis and synthesis of signal and semantic characteristics of speech.

Each person, in addition to the commonly used one, also has his own cognitive meaning of concepts. For example, the concept of “school” includes a very broad content: premises, students, lessons, teachers, textbooks, school subjects, etc. In addition, the word “school” can have different emotional connotations and evoke different memories. A person, revealing the concept of “school”, also has his own connotation or meaning of the concept. For one, these will be memories of a carefree childhood and romantic youth, another will remember problems in relationships with teachers, a third will remember the joy of acquiring knowledge, a fourth will remember tedious cramming, etc. Therefore, one of the first tasks of every conversation with students should be the task of clarifying the meaning that the interlocutors put into the basic concepts of the conversation. The result of understanding as a process can be complete or incomplete understanding. Thus, misunderstanding is not a lack of understanding, but its negative result.

What contributes to the process of understanding? Firstly , the interlocutors have a wide vocabulary and speech literacy. It is important to have mastery of oral presentation, which allows you to correctly place accents in speech, highlight the necessary phrases and thereby achieve a quick understanding of not only the words, but the meaning of the speech.

Secondly , development of social sensitivity, which includes:

a) sensitivity in observation - the ability to see and remember the actions and statements of people;

b) theoretical sensitivity - the ability to use theoretical knowledge to draw conclusions about students;

c) nomothetic sensitivity - the ability to apply to a person knowledge about the behavioral characteristics of representatives of the group to which he belongs;

d) idiographic sensitivity - the ability to recognize a specific person during prolonged interaction with him.

Third , development of creativity and creative imagination. Creativity develops a teacher’s ability to think outside the box about things, situations, communication and the ability to flexibly adapt depending on circumstances. A creative approach to life and communicating with people can be developed with the help of simple exercises:

  • Exercises for entering into the image of another person or thing are very helpful;
  • exercises on the ability to look at things outside the box, for example: find as many ways as possible of how you can use any thing (key, thimble, pen, etc.).

After practicing, you will notice not only how the number of options increases, but also that you have fewer difficulties communicating with children and people around you.

Fifthly, developing the ability to listen to an interlocutor. P. Micic identifies four conditions for proper listening:

  • do not allow any side thoughts;

  • focus only on the topic being discussed.

1.3 BASIC WAYS OF INTERACTION IN PEDAGOGICAL COMMUNICATION (INFACTION AND IMITATION)

Traditionally, in communication, including pedagogical communication, there are four main methods of influence: infection, imitation, suggestion and persuasion.

Infection - this is the process of transferring an emotional state from one individual to another at the psychophysical level of contact in addition to the actual semantic impact or in addition to it.

Historically, infection processes have been studied in connection with mass psychoses, religious ecstasies, mass manifestations of sports excitement, panic, etc. A widely known example is the emergence of panic in the United States in 1938 after reading H. Wells’s novel “War of the Worlds” on the radio. A mass of people (according to official data - 1,200,000 people) experienced a state of mass psychosis, believing in the invasion of Martians on Earth. An estimated 400,000 people subsequently testified to seeing Martians in person. Other examples of contagion include the behavior of fans at sporting events; behavior of people when boarding crowded transport, during rallies and demonstrations; work enthusiasm, etc.

When they say that a person is susceptible to the process of infection, they mean that he is unconsciously, involuntarily susceptible to certain mental (emotional) states. In this case, a person begins to act not as his mind tells him, but under the influence of the hormonal exchange occurring in him. He loses the ability to control his actions, predict the situation, control himself and others.

Time affects the type of connection between people - the intensity of communication, the size of an individual territory, body language. The concept that characterizes a person in this position is autonomy, which is understood as the ability of the individual as a moral subject to self-determination on the basis of his own legislation. Discussion is a relatively new form of interaction in school groups. When we talk about its relative novelty, we do not mean one-time discussion events that are held at one time or another in every school. The process of transferring responsibility is possible not only in the social sphere, but also in education. Students' responsibility for their studies and achievements in it is probably the dream of all teachers. Moreover, it is conflicts that make it possible to better understand what is happening and take relationships to a new level.

The first step a teacher must take in order to understand a conflict is to find out its cause. There can be many reasons (that is, events that directly led to the conflict). But the teacher will make a mistake if he stops at finding out the reason and does not analyze deeper. The main thing is to find out the reason. Despite all the differences in the specific circumstances of individual conflict situations, it is possible to create a general scheme of causes for them:

CONFLICT OF INTERACTION VALUES. Any type of interaction is endowed by its participants with the meaning that they see in it for themselves or would like to see. The substantive side of meaning or significance can be called values, in this case interaction values. If we are talking about work, value will be what a person sees for himself as the main meaning of his work - whether it is a source of livelihood for him, an opportunity for self-realization, etc.

The values ​​of the relationship will be what the spouses see as the meaning of the existence of relationships between people. The value side of people’s interaction, in essence, poses the question “why” or “for what.” Regardless of whether the participants in the interaction themselves formulate this question for themselves and give a conscious answer to it, they always have dominant values ​​that guide their actions, creating a certain model of their behavior in interaction.

CONFLICT OF INTERESTS OF INTERACTION PARTICIPANTS. Each person enters into a situation of interaction with his own interests. People consider some of them as goals for themselves, without the implementation of which this situation will cease to satisfy them. While studying, a person strives to do what he loves, but at the same time he wants to receive an appropriate reward. A person’s other interests can hardly be called goals, and often he does not think about them until something begins to contradict them.

CONFLICT OF MEANS (WAYS, WAYS) OF REALIZING GOALS. The presence of certain goals presupposes the presence or search for appropriate means, methods, and ways to achieve them. Regardless of whether we are talking about the general goals of interaction or the individual goals that people pursue, in any case it is necessary to choose certain ways to achieve them. The question of methods concerns the procedural side of interaction, its organization - “how it is done.”

CONFLICT OF POTENTIALS OF PARTICIPANTS IN INTERACTION. Successful solution of interaction problems presupposes that its participants have a level of competence, a sum of knowledge, a set of skills (even the simplest ones), physical capabilities necessary for its implementation, that is, their potential meets the set of requirements imposed by interaction. In order to enter into any social contacts or interaction situations, it is necessary to have at least a basic understanding of these situations and possess the appropriate behavioral skills.

CONFLICT OF INTERACTION RULES - the expected contribution of each participant to the overall interaction, their role responsibilities, the degree of possible participation of each in making common decisions, rules of conduct in relation to each other, etc.

In addition, it is necessary to determine what socio-psychological type the conflict belongs to. There are only three of them;

  • personal conflict. The reason for it lies in one or more members of the class. For example, a conflict between friends due to the fact that one of them is too dependent on the other and wants to change this situation. Another example is that one of the students in the class is emotionally unbalanced and loses control of himself when he is reprimanded;
  • interpersonal conflict. Its reason is the relationship between several students in the class. For example, one student (or teacher) does not accept the character traits or habits of another. An interpersonal conflict can develop into an intergroup conflict if their supporters unite around the initially conflicting children;

The next step in a teacher’s work in a conflict situation is to find out the type of reaction to it and transform negative reactions into positive ones. This is the most difficult stage of the work. In the literature, there are two main types of reactions to conflict: negative and positive. Negative reactions are a discharge of accumulated emotions, in which the goal (resolution of the conflict) is not achieved, but the tension accumulated in the body is reduced. Discharge can be in the form of aggressive (blaming other people or oneself) and non-aggressive (flight, avoidance of unpleasant people or situations, trying to get one’s way by any means, regression or suppression)? The teacher’s task is not just to extinguish emotions, but to lead those in conflict to one of the positive reaction options. How can I do that?

1. Try to master the conflict situation. First of all, defuse emotional tension by taking a calm, relaxed pose and showing restraint. If the conflict is protracted or accompanied by too intense expression of emotions, it is better to give its participants time to defuse by calmly observing them.

2. Influence your partners with your behavior. Understand their condition.

3. Understand the causes of the conflict and the motives for the behavior of its participants. Express your understanding to them and convey your condition in words (“It upsets me...”).

For example, trying to influence a child, the teacher says, “Look who you look like!” or “You, as always, did the wrong thing,” etc.

The teacher can and should express to the child how he feels about this or that action; without this, the process of education is impossible. But an assessment of an action, clothed in criticism, is a mistake on the part of the teacher. Dale Carnegie wrote many years ago: “Any fool can criticize, condemn, and complain—and most fools do.” It sounds offensive, but he's right. Why? Criticism deals a blow to a person’s personality and self-esteem. Therefore, the student’s first reaction is not to take note of the teacher’s attitude towards his action, but to protect his “I”. Remarks, even made casually, without the desire to offend a person, make the child defensive and strive to justify himself.

When you ask both teachers and students what their first feelings are at the moment of criticism, most of the answers are; “anger”, “resentment”, “bitterness”, etc. Some people answer; “I don’t feel anything”, “I don’t care”. This is how those who have developed a strong defensive reaction respond. They learned not to react, but at the same time not to perceive the meaning of comments addressed to them. Why do people use criticism? Firstly, because they understand that with the help of criticism they can control others. An angry or offended student becomes more passive in defending his own point of view. The second reason is that it is easier and faster to criticize than to choose words to express your feelings caused by an action and arguments to convince you that you are right.

Any teacher must remember that criticism is like a boomerang; it gives rise to the desire not to correct itself, but to criticize in response. How can we replace criticism when we discuss with children their actions? In psychology there is the concept of “action feedback”. Suppose that a student has committed an action to which the teacher considers himself obligated to respond. In this case, the teacher expresses his (I emphasize, his personal) attitude and talks with the student about the norms of society that he violated. The meaning of the conversation remains the same as when expressing a critical remark, but the form and tone of the conversation change. When criticizing, the tone is usually attacking, aggressive, caustic or mocking. When giving feedback on an action - interested, with a desire to really understand what happened. In this regard, the form also changes - the conversation begins not with attacks from the teacher, but with the teacher expressing a desire to listen and understand. When working with families, it is necessary to remember that not only parents influence the child. Grandparents, other close and distant relatives have no less influence on the child.

During adolescence, children often have problems communicating with their parents due to the abrupt course of teenage crises. If family communication becomes more stressful than usual, the easiest way for parents is to moveto one of the styles described above. The further development of our education and upbringing largely depends on the teacher, his focus, ability in the new economic and political conditions to organize various types of activities of students, to educate them as inquisitive, moral, convinced patriots, hardworking people.

To become a master of his craft, it is not enough for a teacher to have only theoretical knowledge; he must take into account the individual and age characteristics of his students, select methods, tools and technologies that would allow him to work effectively both with the entire team and with individual groups of students, and individually with each student.

The pedagogical process is diverse, it contains not only standard situations, but also those that are not provided for by pedagogical theory, which requires the teacher, on the one hand, to possess standardized skills and abilities (that is, pedagogical equipment), on the other hand, creativity and acting skills and self-regulation.

The need for a creative approach is also due to the requirement to introduce advanced pedagogical and information technologies into the educational process, which brings teaching activities closer to production ones. In fact, school, lyceum, gymnasium, college and university are pedagogical production. Therefore, it is not surprising that in the last few decades such words as technique, technology, action, development and others have appeared in scientific and pedagogical terminology, the interpretation of which is an urgent problem of modern pedagogy and private methods. Hence the conclusion follows: we cannot evaluate a teacher only as a conductor of knowledge or a simple methodologist; today he must also be evaluated as an educational technologist.

“Technology” (from Greek - the art of craft) is a set of elements of methods and means that ensure the effectiveness of any work, including pedagogical work.

Pedagogical technique includes elements such as the skill of self-regulation, including facial expressions (control of facial muscles), gestures (control of hands), pantomime (actions without speech), which allow the teacher to manage his emotions in the process of communicating with students, their parents and colleagues.

As A.S. Makarenko emphasized, “...a person who does not master facial expressions, who does not know how to give his face the right expression, or who does not control his mood cannot be a good teacher. A teacher must be able to walk, joke, be happy and upset. The teacher must be able to behave in such a way that his every action is educational. In this meaning, the word technology includes a set of methods, techniques, tools, including pedagogical equipment, with the help of which the teacher carries out purposeful activities, forming certain knowledge, abilities, skills and personal qualities.

Technology and technology are interrelated concepts, while technology is a project of a process, a certain order of actions, and technology is one of the means of achieving the goal in this process.

The concept of “technology” is very closely related to the concept of “methodology”. At the same time, technology is associated with more specific issues, for example: technology for conducting a certain stage of a lesson, technology for explaining new material, etc., that is, it requires detail. Pedagogical activity, due to its creative nature, is very similar to theatrical activity, which means it requires dramaturgy and directing. It is no coincidence that the term “theatrical pedagogy” exists, because often a lesson or educational event resembles a play, where the teacher is simultaneously a screenwriter, director and main actor, and his students are co-performers. It depends on the teacher-director how they “play” their roles. In addition, the teacher and theater director are also brought together by the goal - emotional impact, the instrument of which is the content and means used in the process of teaching and educating students on the one hand, and during the performance on the other. A teacher, like an actor, must also have many creative features: inspiration, emotionality, the ability to transform, etc.

The pedagogical process, like drama, requires planning taking into account the characteristics of those people who participate in it and their influence on each other, which helps the teacher to foresee the results of his influence on students in advance and even plan in advance various situations that require students (pupils) manifestations of certain personal qualities, knowledge and experience.

Emotional state management involves mastering methods of self-regulation, which include: nurturing goodwill and optimism; control of your behavior (regulation of muscle tension, pace of movements, speech, breathing); self-hypnosis, etc.

Speech technique.The process of children’s perception and understanding of a teacher’s speech is closely related to the complex process of educational listening, which, according to scientists, accounts for approximately 80% of all educational time. Therefore, the process of children’s correct perception of educational material depends on the perfection of the teacher’s speech.

No matter how interesting and educational the speech is, it will not be perceived by the audience if the speaker delivers it inarticulately, in a hoarse, weak, inexpressive voice.

In pedagogical activity it is extremely important:


  • speak expressively and simply, giving a lecture, report, reciting poetry and prose;

  • control the intonation and strength of the voice, thinking through each phrase and sentence, emphasizing significant words and expressions, using them competently in various situations.
To master speech technique means to have speech breathing, voice, good diction and orthoepic pronunciation.

Breathing ensures the vital activity of the body, physiological function. At the same time, it also acts as the energy base of speech. Speech breathing is called phonation (from the Greek phono - sound).

In everyday life, when our speech is predominantly dialogical, breathing does not cause difficulties.

The difference between phonation breathing and physiological breathing is that the inhalation and exhalation of normal breathing are carried out through the nose, they are short and equal in time.

Normal physiological breathing is not enough for speech. Speech and reading require more air, its economical use and timely renewal.

There are special exercises aimed at developing breathing. The goal of breathing exercises is not to develop the ability to inhale the maximum amount of air, but to train in the ability to rationally use the normal supply of air. Since sounds are created during exhalation, its organization is the basis for staging breathing, which should be full, calm and unnoticeable.

Diction- this is the clarity and correctness of pronunciation, efficient sounds, which are ensured by the correct functioning of the speech organs. The articulatory apparatus must work actively, without unnecessary tension. All sounds and their combinations must be pronounced clearly, easily and freely at any pace.

All diction disorders of speech and voice are divided into:


  • organic (speech therapists are involved in their correction);

  • inorganic (they can be corrected through exercise);

  • associated with laxity of the articulatory apparatus (lips, tongue, jaw);

  • unclear pronunciation of consonants (“porridge in the mouth”).
Among teachers there are people whose voice is given by nature itself, but this does not happen often. And a good voice, in the absence of special training, wears out over the years.

Thus, summing up all of the above, we can conclude that pedagogical technology, which represents a set of abilities, skills and knowledge that allows the teacher to see, hear and feel his students, is a necessary component of professional pedagogical skills.

It must be remembered that in a person who is in thought, the most active area of ​​the brain is, so he tries to focus our attention on it, as if warning: “Don’t interfere - I’m thinking.”

For a person who is lost in thought and distracted from the conversation, the following gestures are typical: hands to the forehead in various positions, a person can rub his temples, scratch the back of his head. This kind of gestures has another purpose: a person thus tries to increase the efficiency of the brain, adjusts his “thinking apparatus” to solve a difficult problem.

In addition to gestures, a person’s posture reveals a thoughtful person. Remember “The Thinker” by Auguste Rodin: he sits with his cheek resting on his hand. If your interlocutor is characterized by this posture, most likely he has been distracted from your conversation and is thinking about something of his own. By the posture of a thinking person, you can approximately determine what he is thinking about. If a person leans on his right hand or rubs his right temple, it means that the left hemisphere of the brain is involved in his thinking (according to the law of cross-distribution of zones of influence of the brain), which is responsible for a person’s logical, analytical abilities. Consequently, at the moment a person is busy with analysis, he is occupied with questions that require detailed calculations. In this case, a person’s gaze can be concentrated, focused on one point. If a person leans on his left hand, it means that the right hemisphere of the brain is involved, which is responsible for the sensual side of human nature. A person most likely philosophizes, fantasizes, his thoughts lack clarity, specificity and do not require analysis. The gaze is not focused on one point, but, on the contrary, is blurry, directed to nowhere.

If you notice similar signs in your interlocutor, then it is possible that he is not listening to you, but is immersed in his own thoughts. To make sure that he perceives the information, you can ask him a question. If there is no answer, know that your interlocutor is in deep thought. You need to either wait until he wakes up from his thoughts, or influence him: say something loudly or touch him.

Often verbal signs of interest are imaginary, and only with the help of non-verbal communication can you understand how interested your interlocutor is. Questions can only mean a reluctance to offend you, formal politeness, but not interest.

An interested person, as a rule, is quite stingy with gestures. It is not for nothing that in a classroom or auditorium, where schoolchildren or students are interested in what the teacher is talking about, there is perfect silence.

But there are other non-verbal ways to determine the interest of the interlocutor. A person who is interested in what is happening strives with his whole being to get closer to the source of information. You can notice the tilt of the body towards the speaker: the listener strives to be closer to him.

It happens that a person is so carried away by what is happening that he simply ceases to control his body. He may forget to close his mouth or open his eyes wide - these are facial signs that indicate that the person is surprised, amazed, and in the most interested state.

If you were unable to detect any of the listed “symptoms” of interest in your interlocutor, you should urgently change tactics - change the topic of the conversation, increase the emotionality of what is being said, otherwise your message will be insignificant for your interlocutor and will not bring the results you need.

Respect is one of those aspects of human relationships that you need to achieve throughout your life. It can be difficult to determine whether a person's respect is true or false. Do they give you a hand with a desire to greet you or because of an established tradition?

A handshake is a very ancient tradition, which previously had not only a ritual meaning - to greet a newcomer, but also meant that people came to meet each other without bad intentions, without weapons. Now this ritual has acquired other meanings.

A person who treats you with respect offers his hand first or at the same time as you. He

does not try to immediately remove your hand: a respectful handshake should be long.

The arm should be extended, and in no case bent at the elbow. Thus, the person should not cause you inconvenience, should not force you to reach out. Rather, on the contrary, he is trying to create the most comfortable conditions for you.

The following can be considered a gesture of respect: a man shakes a woman’s hand at the exit from public transport. It can also be formal, it just means that the person is familiar with the rules of good manners. If this is a gesture of true respect, then the person giving the hand should look at you and try to catch your hand.

Bowing your head is a gesture of respect. Pay attention to how the person tilts his head. A respectful bow may be accompanied by lowering the eyelids (this comes from the ancient tradition of greeting royalty - they are so majestic and powerful that people did not even dare to look at them, so they lowered their eyelids).

In some Western countries, hugging is a nonverbal way to show affection and respect for a person, even if the two people are not in a close relationship. Hugs are allowed after the first meeting if people have found kindred spirits in each other. This is, in essence, reducing the distance between people to a minimum. In other words, you are letting a stranger into your personal zone and invading his personal space. There is a direct contact that means: “I understand you, I accept you, I treat you with respect.” In our country, as a rule, hugs are acceptable only between close friends and relatives.
