How to properly install and hide mines. Spur exam

Most pupils and students use a cheat sheet for tests and exams. Significant nervous tension can prevent even an excellent student from concentrating and answering questions correctly. Therefore, a small piece of paper with a lot of necessary information usually comes to the rescue.

A small and carefully prepared cheat sheet will save the student and student during the exam.

Pre-selected material will help someone who has not taught get a positive assessment. But it is wrong to think that only ignoramuses use cheat sheets. This little assistant gives confidence to both excellent and good students, because if you forgot something, you can quickly spy on it. It’s not enough to write a cheat sheet; you need to know how to hide it correctly and be able to use it without giving yourself away.

Pros and cons of cheat sheets.

pros

  1. During the writing process, important information about the material is remembered. The student uses motor and visual memory.
  2. You can peek at part of the material if you are unable to concentrate and remember what you need due to stress.
  3. The presence of a cheat sheet gives the student confidence in his own knowledge. He may never use the hint, but its absence will disturb the student’s inner peace.
  4. The ability to sneak a cheat sheet in unnoticed and use it is already an art. The brain should work like a secret agent.

Minuses

  1. Constant requests for help from classmates and classmates who know that you have a cheat sheet. The majority do not know how to prepare for exams and tests at all, so they look out for more thoughtful classmates and classmates to borrow a hint from them.
  2. Stress while using a small piece of paper. You need to not give yourself away and have time to quickly rewrite the main thing.
  3. Disrespectful attitude in the future on the part of the teacher if the cheat sheet is discovered.

Punishment for cheating.

At school and higher education institutions, for a cheat sheet you can:

  • kick out of class;
  • give an unsatisfactory grade;
  • force you to retake it “live”, answering questions personally to the teacher.

When passing the Unified State Exam, everything is much more serious. The student faces punishment in the form of a fine. The amount of the fine is from 3,000 rubles.

With peripheral vision, the teacher will monitor the rest of the audience, but where you sit will turn out to be a “blind spot.” The downside is that you will need to hide the cheat sheets in time until the person answering gets up.

In Boom Beach, mines are a very important element of defense that should not be neglected. There are three types of mines available in the game: explosive, shock and simple mines. I will not describe the characteristics of each type, as they can be found in the Wikipedia section. In this post I will share my experience and observations regarding their installation.
As I wrote above, there is no need to neglect mines, since it often happens that thanks to them it is possible to repel an enemy attack on your own island. And I am sure that for every more or less experienced player there were cases when the attack was unsuccessful, since some of the troops were blown up by secretly placed mines (especially true for “beetlemen”).

I would immediately like to point out two common mistakes that players make when placing mines:

  1. All mines are densely installed along the coastlines (in several rows). This is an extremely unlucky option for placing mines, since they are all visible and it is very easy to make a “corridor” for troops using criteria or gunboat artillery.
  2. All mines are installed in a tight ring around the headquarters in order to protect them from soldiers. This is also not a good option, since in almost 100% of cases they are also destroyed from the boat even before the troops land.

I've been playing Boom Beach for about three years now, and I can already say with complete confidence that The greatest effect from mines can be achieved if they are evenly distributed throughout the base. You can, of course, concentrate them a little more on the most vulnerable sector of the defense, and thereby compensate for the lack of defensive structures in that place... but only A bit more. The main argument in favor of such an arrangement is that if the mines are “scattered” throughout the entire territory of the base, they will be more difficult to destroy from a gunboat, and a certain number of mines will still work.
It is also very important to properly hide mines using the contours of accessible buildings. So, at the maximum level of the game, there are 8 structures behind which you can perfectly hide mines, and they will be practically invisible to the enemy. There is a mine hidden behind each of the buildings in the picture below:

Not bad, isn't it? But here it is important not to overdo it, because if, when inspecting your island before an attack, the enemy sees few mines, this will arouse suspicion and force them to look more carefully. I hide no more than 8-10 mines (this is 25-35% of all available at my level).

Twin mines also perform well (when two or even three mines are installed together). In this case, they are more effective (if they work), especially against bazookas and shooters, which they can completely destroy... But the coverage area in this case is significantly reduced. Below is an example of a base on which the player has placed twin mines.

And finally, a short video that shows how you can hide mines using the contours of buildings.

I hope this material is useful to you and helps improve your gaming skills. Good luck!

During a burglary, time is the attacker’s most valuable resource. It can be significantly limited by connecting the apartment to a 24-hour security console and storing valuables in a burglar-proof safe. The arrival time of the armed squad is 5-20 minutes, and the task of the safe is to hold out against the burglar during this time. You can make the thief's task even more difficult if you force him to spend extra time searching for the safe. Let's figure out how to do this.

Why you should hide a safe:

1 - a well-hidden safe will not be seen by strangers. And the fewer people know that you keep something valuable at home, the lower the risk of burglary on a tip.
2 - in case of burglary, thieves will find the safe. Yes, there is no need to indulge in illusions - after all, a safe is not a hiding place. But the search for a well-hidden safe will take some time, then it still has to be cracked, preferably without unnecessary noise and before the security arrives.

✍ They write on the forum: A safe is usually made of ferrous metal. He is ferromagnetic. Modern devices make it possible to detect a massive piece of ferromagnetic material from a fairly large distance. But you still need to hide. Searching is wasting time. And the war is only for him. You can find and open any safe. It is important that they search longer and open longer.

How to hide a built-in safe.

Thanks to detective stories and spy action films, we are well aware that such safes are hidden behind paintings or mirrors. But using these hackneyed solutions is not the best idea: firstly, thieves also watch movies, and secondly, it will be inconvenient for you to open such a safe. However, if you really want to try on the role of your favorite movie character, then why not.

The painting slides back along the guides, revealing access to a safe in the wall.

First, you need to decide on the room to install the safe - it should be impassable. , personal office, basement or attic are quite suitable. But the hallway and living room in this sense are not the best options. The bathroom is not the best room either - high humidity can lead to damage not only to the lock, but also to the contents of the safe itself.

Next, you need to think about how exactly to hide the safe. In the dressing room it can be curtained with clothes on hangers or placed with boxes on the shelves. In the bedroom, the safe can be covered by a wardrobe with a slot in the back wall or a bedside table.

Here are some interesting ideas, in my opinion, for installing a built-in safe:

The built-in safe is hidden behind clothes hung on hangers. Convenient and not conspicuous.

The dressing room through the eyes of a stranger, and how the owner sees it.

How to hide a floor safe.

Floor safes are the easiest to install and therefore the most common. When choosing a room for their installation, the same rule applies - the fewer strangers, the better.

Once you've decided on the room, you need to figure out how to hide the safe - hiding it with something like a built-in one won't work. But you can still come up with something.

The first option is secretive - building a safe into a closet. This option has two points that you should pay attention to. First, the dimensions of the safe must be such that the cabinet closes normally. Keep in mind that safes with external hinges cannot be pushed flush with the hinge side against the side wall of the cabinet, since in this case it will not be possible to open it normally. The second point is that if the safe is heavy enough, you need to think through the design so that it does not push through the shelf or cabinet base.

An example of integrating a furniture safe into a closet. In the photo: Technomax GMT/4 (weight 34 kg)

✍ The maximum permissible weight depends on the strength of the material, the thickness and length of the shelf. For example, the maximum permissible weight for a chipboard shelf up to 60 cm long with a standard fastening is no more than 40 kg, 60-80 cm long - no more than 30 kg, 80-100 cm long - no more than 20 kg.

The second practical option is to install a safe under the table. The easiest way to install safes up to 70 cm high. Weight in this case does not matter, since the safe is placed directly on the floor and secured with anchors. As a result, the safe is covered on three sides by a table, which gives the owner convenient access without getting up from his desk. An excellent option for a personal account.

The third option is aesthetic - styling the safe as an interior item. For example, under a decorative cabinet or dressing table. With this approach, the safe will fit into the interior design as organically as possible, and as a result will not stand out or be conspicuous.

Not everyone will guess that this decorative cabinet is actually a fire-resistant safe.

Today you can order the manufacture of a safe in a hidden design - the desired size, color of finish. This customization makes it easy to fit the safe into the interior. In the photo - SafeWood 78 EL DS2.

✍ The cost of installing safes in Moscow as of March 2018 starts from 2,500 rubles per point - to the floor or wall. Most often this is quite enough.

Protection against burglary is solved in the following way: setting up an alarm system in the apartment, purchasing a burglar-proof safe and installing it correctly. This is the order and priority. How best to hide the safe is the fourth question. When answering it, it is better not to look for ready-made solutions, but to use your imagination. This is more likely to deprive attackers of valuable minutes and possibly save your valuables.

Sew it into a pillow, hide it under the floorboard, fill it with cereal in a jar, or stick it behind the mirror? Many of us ask ourselves this question, confusedly clutching banknotes and trinkets earned through back-breaking work. A question that sounds most relevant now, during the holiday season and summer cottages.

Naive inventions of citizens

Why do people hide money? A strange question - of course, so that they don’t go to someone else! And usually by this “someone else” we mean thieves, the state or members of our family. However, it is very difficult to understand people who hide “stash” from their wives or husbands. It seems that very big problems have arisen in their family relationships, since they no longer trust each other and are afraid to hide their own money from their spouses.

Another thing is thieves who dream of taking over your savings. Or representatives of the state seeking to expropriate them (anything can happen). To steal pennies from them, as they say, God himself ordered! However, this is very, very difficult to do...

A resident of Mukachevo, who decided to use her refrigerator as a hiding place, probably considered herself the smartest. But the thief who snuck into her house only laughed. He ate cold borscht, took a bite of sausage, and then took out 150 thousand hryvnia wrapped in plastic from the freezer.

This is just one of the episodes of the crime chronicle. Dozens of burglaries occur in Ukraine every day. For the most part, these are petty crimes committed by petty “amateurs”: homeless people, tramps, teenagers and even neighbors. They climbed through a window or entered an open door, grabbed what their eyes saw, and quickly made their feet.

During such thefts, they usually take out what is lying or standing in plain sight - phones, wallets, video equipment and computers, clothes, dishes, drinks from the bar. It happens that clueless thieves grab something that they don’t need at all - for example, discs with home videos or an old electric kettle.

And it is precisely from such narrow-minded villains that we hide money and jewelry in stashes. We hide them in the pockets of old sweatshirts, in books, under the bathtub, in the trash on the mezzanine - in the confidence that thieves will not find them there. Well, the “amateur” may not find it. But an experienced apartment thief - easily! The same applies to law enforcement officers who even take a special course in search theory at their academies and successfully implement it in practice.

Therefore, do not try to deceive professionals with your naive inventions. To preserve your valuables, they must also be hidden professionally. To learn to hide, you first need to learn to search. To begin with, at least understand the theory of a burglary or a search, which, in principle, is almost the same thing.

Firstly, thieves are divided into amateurs and professionals. If you are only afraid of the former, then all you need to do is have strong doors with a good lock and close your windows. And in the apartment, remove valuables out of sight, it is best to lock them in a safe or at least in a chest of drawers.

If you are afraid of the latter, then you should understand: these people are capable of finding everything in your house, no matter how well it is hidden. Even things that you yourself didn’t suspect. They said that once a curious incident happened in Voronezh: a thief who broke into an apartment located in an old pre-revolutionary building discovered a hiding place in the wall, which the owners of the apartment had no idea about! What was kept in that cache, what exactly the successful thief got his hands on, remained unknown.

But here is a typical case of apartment theft, which also happened in Transcarpathia (it seems that the thieves there will soon become famous throughout the country). A resident of Vinogradov, who equipped a hiding place for her money in a ventilation pipe, did not suspect that this is where thieves usually look. Especially if the location of the cache is immediately revealed by a poorly fitting lid or tile, fingerprints in the dust, etc.

First of all, a thief who breaks into a home conducts a cursory inspection of it. He is trying to assess the well-being of the owners. Are they really rich or have they spent all their money on modern renovations and new furniture to surprise their friends and neighbors? Is this real modesty, reaching the point of poverty, or does it hide the wealth of an unpretentious owner?

Three types of loot

Thieves usually determine this by the contents of the refrigerator (that’s why you can’t hide money in it), by clothes hanging in the closet (expensive or bought at the market from gypsies), at the same time rummaging through their pockets, by brands of household appliances, by found documents, photographs. Some collections or things may attract attention, indicating that their owner is a connoisseur with good taste and probably has the means to purchase them. All this helps thieves estimate the approximate size of their prey, which comes in three types.

Firstly, every experienced thief knows that almost all people keep a certain amount of money at home for current expenses, the amount of which depends on the wealth of the owners (some have several hundred hryvnia, while others have half a pack of hundred-dollar bills). Also, most people have such popular jewelry as rings, chains, and earrings. They don’t really hide them - they need money almost every day, many people wear jewelry to work, so it’s all always at hand. First of all, the thief will look for them! Look where people usually keep them - thieves know the list of popular places by heart.

Some people limit themselves to this and quickly go home, sometimes making it before the security service arrives (if your apartment is alarmed). It is even recommended to make their task easier and not stuff this money between volumes of the encyclopedia. Why? Because, having lost a small amount of “bread” money and your favorite chain, you can save other, more valuable things and suffer smaller losses. As the police say, “voluntarily hand over your valuables.”

Many thieves prefer to take valuables. Unlike stupid drug addicts and young alcoholics who quickly grab everything in sight, experienced burglars choose what is really expensive and can be quickly sold to resellers: furs, branded clothing, expensive electronics, good collectible wines. By the way, they also understand collections no worse than numismatists and philatelists. Often the theft is “targeted,” that is, the villains enter the apartment for specific valuables. Their owners should remember that they are objects of increased attention from the criminal world - and not just some “window makers,” but serious and experienced thieves, often hired by someone. But a collection, like a fur coat, cannot be hidden in a cache, and here we need fundamentally different methods...

The third type of loot, the most desired by criminals, is your savings. Even in our poor country, the majority of the population has savings, no matter how much they were able to save. And many Ukrainians keep them at home, which thieves are well aware of. All they have to do is break into our homes and find our “hiding places.”

As a rule, thieves are likely to be able to determine where people keep their money - in a savings bank or at home. However, you can deceive the villains if you “hide” somewhere in the chest of drawers a couple of passbooks (which contain half of your fortune) or plastic cards, a receipt for payment for the rental service of a bank safe deposit box. Thieves may decide that you trust banks and do not keep your capital in pillows.

Why not just tell you to take all your money to the bank and deposit it? Because in our country specifically, the chance of being robbed is much less than the chance of being a client of a bank that has collapsed...

So, the thieves are already in your apartment and are hoping to take possession not of your “stash,” but of large savings. Large, depending on the level of wealth of the homeowners. In the old "Khrushchev" they will look for 2-3 thousand, set aside by pensioners for treatment or funerals, and in a new elite house - tight wads of dollars and euros, gold, shares.
As a rule, the search carried out by thieves (or cops) will be standard or detailed. In the first case, they will first quickly look through all the drawers, shelves, boxes, and dishes in the sideboard. And then they will carefully check all potential storage locations.

Experienced thieves cope with this quickly: in 5-10 minutes they take out a Khrushchev apartment; a little more than half an hour is required to search a modern luxury multi-room apartment. They try not to linger in your home, realizing that just being there will lead to a deadline for them. Only idiots make themselves comfortable in someone else's apartment as if they were at home.

It is much worse when thieves have enough time and have a strong belief that you have hidden a substantial amount of money somewhere here. Because in this case they give you a full detailed search - systematically, thoroughly and mercilessly.

One after another, gutted books and albums, uprooted flowers from pots fly to the floor, jars of cereals and tea are poured out, and jam is poured out. Furniture, the back panels of televisions and the housings of household appliances are roughly broken into. Pillows and mattresses are cut and turned inside out, and shoe insoles are torn out. The thief dropped and crushed a model of a sailboat with his foot and broke an elegant floor lamp. Everything you have acquired through backbreaking labor turns into a pile of rubbish. But that is not all! After inspecting the contents and furnishings, the inspection of the apartment itself begins. Ventilation is hacked, suspended ceilings are destroyed, walls and floors are tapped...

Fortunately, such thefts happen extremely rarely and only in those apartments where criminals expect to get good loot. Frankly speaking, this attitude of thieves (as well as authorities) towards other people’s property calls into question the very meaning of hiding valuables. After all, while thieves find the dollars hidden by the owner, they can break and damage property for a much larger amount.

The main rules of a reliable cache

But if you still set yourself the task of deceiving thieves, then you need to remember the main rule: the reliability of the cache depends on the time spent searching for it. Just as the reliability of the doors (and their locks) in your apartment depends on the time it takes to open it.

Your task is to make the process of entering the apartment very long and difficult for thieves. If you install an alarm (even just a beeper), you will get a chance to stop and put the villains to flight already on the threshold - in this case, at most, they will only have time to grab what is “badly lying”. Therefore, we are getting rid of the habit of scattering valuables around the apartment in plain sight.

We leave “bread” money and daily jewelry in the chest of drawers, but we hide large savings and grandma’s necklace where they will be looked for in the last place. That is, not in the refrigerator and under the mattress, not in books, not under the carpet, not on the back wall of the “wall” - all these places are well known to burglars. No, we hide them not in the apartment’s furnishings, but in its walls or floors, carefully making our hiding place.

You can make a hiding place under the “floorboard”, behind ceramic tiles, in the door frame, or simply bury it in the wall, carefully filling the remaining space with cotton wool and rags so that the hiding place cannot be tapped. It is important that the hiding place does not give itself away by its appearance: the floorboard does not wobble, the tiles do not fall off, and a recently plastered crack does not protrude from the wall. So that access to the cache is difficult and long, impossible without special tools (screwdrivers, pry bars) and produces maximum noise. However, sometimes experienced teams of thieves, “working” in the apartments of people who have gone to sea, organize a total search with jackhammers under the guise of... major repairs.

Therefore, if you leave your home for a long time, it would still be better to transfer all your valuables to the bank for safekeeping during this time. But not to an account, but to a safe deposit box, where you can also deposit cash. The cell costs money and does not earn interest, but it is much more reliable than a deposit: in the event of another crisis, the accounts may be blocked, but access to the cell will be open to you.

The most reliable is considered to be a cache in the ground - if, of course, you have it. After all, not a single thief will be able to dig up your entire plot of land in a week! The main thing here is to hide your treasures so that your neighbors don’t spy on it, and also so that you yourself don’t forget where you buried your chest...
