On the eve of the day of the Great Victory over Nazi Germany, many kindergartens and other educational institutions are planning matinees and theatrical performances. These actions help not only to recreate pictures from the past for invited guests - WWII veterans, but also tell children about the war in simple words. We will tell you in this article what kind of war scenes you can stage with children.

"Siege Leningrad and children"

Up to 8 children can take part in this production. Military-themed music plays throughout the performance. The total staging time is about 25-40 minutes. Decorations can be made using old newspaper clippings, St. George ribbons, and patriotic symbols of the war years.

When assigning roles for a skit about the war, keep in mind that you will need to play:

  • nurses and military doctors (approximately 4-6 people may be involved);
  • wounded soldiers (2-4 people);
  • traffic controller (1 person);
  • residents of Leningrad (2 people);
  • young mothers who are waiting from the front for their spouses (3-4 people).

Props

The plot of the skit about the war for schoolchildren takes place in besieged Leningrad, so you will need special props in order to convey the whole atmosphere of the city. For example, you need to prepare two dolls (they should be wrapped in diapers, like babies), a baton for the guard, a sleigh with brushwood, black and white photographs of people in uniform, a white suitcase with a cross, bandages and crutches.

What costumes will you need?

When preparing a skit about the war of 1941-1945. You must take care of appropriate themed costumes in advance. For example, doctors must wear white coats; wounded soldiers - in the uniform of a resident of the besieged city - in sweatshirts and warm down scarves, felt boots; military wives - in skirts and discreet blouses; the traffic controller wears a military uniform and a cap with a red star.

Scenario: Act One

When preparing skits about the war, write out all the roles in advance and draw up a proposed script. So, our skit consists of two actions. First, all the characters go on stage to the musical song-romance “Rio Rita”. They dance the foxtrot or paso doble. In the middle of the song, the music stops and an air raid alarm sounds. The characters stop, lining up in two small lines. A moment's silence. And after this, Klavdia Shulzhenko’s song with the telling title “June 22” sounds. During it, all the children stand at attention and begin to put on soldier’s caps and caps. With each verse the song becomes quieter. Someone says a poem: “Together spring and summer. A song called "Holy War" is heard. It begins to sound progressively, becoming louder each time. The children begin to march in place. One of the participants recites the poem “Until recently, the smoke snaked...”. During this scene about the war, machine gun fire, shooting and explosions can be heard. The music fades out slightly. At this time, one of the wounded soldiers says: “The enemy attacked unexpectedly. We defended ourselves as best we could. But the forces were not equal. We retreated with heavy losses, and the enemy was preparing for a crushing blow. The front line has moved towards Moscow.”

After these words, the melody from the march of the defenders of Moscow begins to sound. Children march to it. Then the song fades out (the first two verses should be heard), and the second wounded man recites the verse “October gives the boulevards in rubles.” At the end of these lines, a march is heard again, and then the first wounded man reads the verses “No. Early the enemy triumphs." At this time, all the children continue to march.

A siren sounds, the drone of planes is heard, and everyone lies down on the floor. Automatic fire and explosions. The second wounded man says the following words: “We defended our land. The enemy is repulsed, but not defeated. There are other battles ahead of us: for Stalingrad, Leningrad and other cities. We will definitely win. Victory will be ours!" This concludes the first act of the skit about the war for schoolchildren.

Act two: the battle for Stalingrad

The second act begins with a change of scenery. Stalingrad is in front of the viewer. The sound of a siren, gunfire, and explosions are heard. Two wounded soldiers appear on the scene. They lie and moan. Doctors run up to them. The wounded are carried away. On the other side of the stage we see two women (these are local residents). The two of them are carrying a sleigh with a bundle of firewood. Another explosion is heard. They fall to the ground and freeze. At this time, the music “For the rest of my life” plays. The shooting ends. The women get up and continue on their way.

In the middle of a skit about war for children, a traffic controller appears. He directs the movement of cars. Women with luggage pass by him. At this time he tells them: “Don’t worry so much, we’ll break through. Ours will definitely win!” The women sigh heavily and leave the stage along with the sleigh and firewood. The traffic controller turns to the audience and says: “Despite the complete blockade, our defenders of the Fatherland did not allow the enemy to approach the city. People continue to work for us. Volunteers are on duty. They help put out fires and warn about flying planes.” The lights go out and the traffic controller leaves.

During a skit about the war for children, the song “Dark Night” is heard. Two young mothers come out from behind the scenes, rocking their babies in their arms. These are military wives. They wipe away their tears and look out the makeshift window. One of them says: “Oh, where are our beloved ones? They didn't even get to see their children. God willing, they will return alive.” The second says: “They will definitely return with victory.” The song fades out. and then return to the stage with other characters.

All together they say: “The enemy failed to capture and defeat us. Our will. We won, but at a very high price. How many people died! How many military men, old people and children!” A pulsating sound is heard, and a minute of silence occurs in honor of the innocent people killed during the war. "Days of War"

As a variation of a scene about the war of 1941-1945. you can choose a small production called “Days of War”. It can involve 10-12 people. The props you can use are balloons, an improvised school board and several desks with chairs. Also, for greater clarity, you can hang posters and congratulatory ribbons with the slogans: “Goodbye, school”, “Hurray! High school graduation". For clothes, you need to prepare in advance school uniforms (for boys and girls), white aprons and bows, knee socks, military uniforms and hats (for boys), scarves (for girls), bandages, crutches, flowers.

At the beginning of the scene, schoolgirls appear, dressed in uniforms and white aprons. Snow-white bows adorn their heads. Two of them sit at a desk, write something, wink at each other, whisper and laugh. The other two figuratively draw hopscotches on the asphalt and jump on them. A pleasant and calm melody sounds.

Boys appear on stage. Each of them approaches the girl, takes her hand and leads her forward. Waltz music is heard and all the children begin to move to its rhythm. Next, according to the scenario of a mini-scene about the war, an air raid siren and shell explosions are heard. The children fall to the floor and cover their heads with their hands. The song “June 22” is playing. Then the sound of a trumpet and the first lines from the song “Get up, huge country” are heard.

All the boys stand up, put on their soldier caps and stand at attention, saluting (doing a military salute). The girls rise up after them. During this mini-scene about the war, the music fades out and one of the graduates says: “War! What have you done, you vile one? It has become quiet in our school.” The second girl continues: “You made our boys into men. They grew up before their time and went to war as soldiers.” At this time the boys, marching, leave.

The third girl says: “Farewell, our dear defenders of the Fatherland! Come back victorious." Fourth: “Don’t spare grenades and bullets. Do not spare the accursed enemy. Come back quickly!”

One boy returns, already dressed in military uniform. A soldier's backpack hangs on his shoulder. He says, looking into the audience: “What have you done during the war? Instead of a school, trenches await us. Goodbye, dear girls! We promise we will come back." Leaves. There is noise (you can hear soldiers marching). Next, a sketch about the war (short) is accompanied by the song “Little Blue Handkerchief.” All the girls take out their handkerchiefs and wave towards the leaving boys. The lights go out. Explosions, sirens and shooting are heard. Then shouts are heard: “Forward, for the Motherland! Hooray! Victory!"

Girls appear on stage with flowers. The voice-over presenter says: “This war has claimed millions of lives, broken hearts and given a lot of grief. We managed to win, although the price of victory was high. But we will never forget the feat that our grandfathers and great-grandfathers accomplished. Thanks to them. We bow to them. We remember. We love and mourn." The song “Victory Day” begins to play. Boys come out: some on crutches, some with bandaged arms, legs, and heads. They stop in front of the girls. They present the winners with flowers and place their heads on their shoulders. This is the end of the war skit for school.

“Only old men go into battle”: act 1

The scene involves approximately 6-7 people. Among them are one grandmother, one angel and 4-5 partisan boys. For the scenery you will need details such as a window opening, the frame of the house where the grandmother lives with the main character. From clothing, it is necessary to prepare a military uniform with appropriate headdresses, a scarf and a long dress for the grandmother, wings, white clothes and a halo for the angel, a white robe with a red cross for the boy’s mother.

A small house appears on the stage (can be made of cardboard and painted). Twilight. The light from the lamp is visible in the window. Then the grandmother appears. She prays in front of the icon in a whisper. The door opens and a ten-year-old boy Vanya runs in: “Grandma. Bah. Let me go to war." Grandmother shakes her head in surprise: “Still young. Look what you came up with. Where are you going to go to war? Your mother went to the front as a nurse, your father is also fighting.” The boy comes closer and takes his grandmother’s hand: “Let me go, okay? Look, our neighboring boys have all gathered to help ours. I'll join the partisans. That’s where I’ll come in handy.”

The scene is then accompanied by a sad melody. Five boys run into the room. Everyone is dressed in military uniform, and on their shoulders are bags of provisions and some personal belongings. The grandmother approaches them in bewilderment: “Fathers. Are you going there too? It would be better if they helped parents with housework and read books. Three inches from the pot, and then there.” The boy insistently: “Bah, I’ve already got myself together and decided everything. The Motherland needs me." He is about to leave with other comrades. The old lady stops him. He baptizes him and the others, puts a cross on everyone’s neck and escorts them to the door. To the music, the children leave the house and hide behind the scenes.

“Only old men go into battle”: act two

Next, the skit on the theme of war continues with military actions. On the stage we see a battlefield. Shells are flying. The drone of planes is heard. Automatic queues. Boy Vanya crawls on the floor. A machine gun hangs from his shoulder. The head is bandaged. There is an explosion. He falls. A child appears nearby and walks across the stage (smoothly, as if floating). Then he leans over the boy. She strokes his forehead with her hand and says: “Don’t worry, Vanechka! You will live. You will become a battalion commander and lead him into the attack. It'll all be over soon. Your parents will return. You too will come home victorious. Don't be afraid, you are under my protection." The angel makes another circle around the stage and flies away.

The scene doesn't end there. The Patriotic War is in full swing, and Vanya is still lying on the battlefield. His mother approaches him. She peers into the boy's face. He sits down on his knees next to him and strokes his hair: “Dear son, is that you? So big and mature. What happened to you? Is he alive? Open your eyes." The boy opens his eyes and raises his head: “Mom, it’s me. I dreamed of an angel. He said that the war would end very soon. "War Stories": Act One

The next version of a skit about the war for preschoolers is a performance called “War Stories.” This action begins in a small house. Viewers see a spacious room, a chair and a table. Grandfather is sitting on it. There is gray in his beard. He leans on a stick and looks into the distance. An eight-year-old boy, Andrei, runs up to him, joyfully waving his briefcase. Grandfather looks at him carefully.

“Grandfather, today at school we were talking about the war. Have you fought? - asks the boy. Grandfather rubs his forehead, sighs heavily and says: “Yes, Andryusha. Fought." Andrey enthusiastically: “Tell me, tell me.” Grandfather smiles: “Well, then listen.”

A boy of about seven appears on the stage. He works in the forge with his dad. We see large pliers and a hammer. Then the blacksmith himself appears. He takes the hammer and anvil. He puts down a large piece of metal and hits it. A beautifully dressed woman appears on the stage (this is Andrei’s mother), carrying a tray of hot pies and a jug of milk. A burst of automatic fire is heard. Out of surprise, the mother drops the tray and pies on the floor.

The blacksmith silently puts down his hammer. He goes into another room (behind the stage) and returns already dressed in a soldier’s uniform. Andrey's mother attaches a blue handkerchief to his backpack. At this time, the song “Blue Handkerchief” sounds. Father comes out. After a while there is a knock on the door. A patriotic tune is playing. Andryusha runs to the door shouting: “Dad is back!” He opens it and sees a woman postman. She silently hands the boy a triangular envelope and leaves. Inspired by the event, Andrei, without reading, brings a letter to his mother. This is a funeral. She reads and cries: “You don’t have a dad anymore, son!”

The son gets up to the song “Get up, huge country,” changes into his uniform and goes to his mother to say goodbye. She cries and accompanies him to the war. This is the end of the first part of a skit about the war for schoolchildren.

“War Stories”: Act Two

A siren sounds. The roar of shells. Andrey is lying on the ground. A tank approaches him. He pulls the pin out of the grenade and blows it up. The presenter says behind the scenes: “The war brought a lot of troubles. It is over, but younger generations will remember it for many, many years to come. They will remember the patriotism of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers, the heroes, the innocent people killed and tortured. The action takes place in 1942, in an abandoned mansion not far from the front line... At the end, Bulat Okudzhava’s song “If a raven is on high..” is heard, and during the intermission the audience is treated to field porridge.

The performance is based on Tvardovsky’s poem “Vasily Terkin,” known to everyone from school. It is not surprising that there are many teenagers in the audience. To the sounds of Shostakovich's symphony, the brave soldier appears on stage performed by 12 actors, behind whom are their beloved girls, mothers, daughters, and the huge country that they defended.

The transforming scenery becomes either a road along which a Russian soldier walks through the swamps, or the side of a truck, or a single shield saving the lives of soldiers... The performance tells the story of the inflexibility of the Russian spirit, its firmness and unwillingness to retreat while at least some hope is alive.
