Official exam schedule updated. Changes by subject

Like last year, in 2017 there are two “streams” of the Unified State Exam – an early period (it takes place in mid-spring) and the main period, which traditionally starts at the end of the academic year, the last days of May. The official draft Unified State Exam schedule “specifies” all the dates for taking exams in all subjects in both of these periods - including additional reserve days provided for those who, for good reason (illness, coincidence of exam dates, etc.) were unable to pass the Unified State Exam within the specified time frame.

Schedule of early period for passing the Unified State Exam – 2017

In 2017, the early “wave” of the Unified State Exam will start earlier than usual. If last year the peak of the spring exam period occurred in the last week of March, then this season the spring break period will be free from the Unified State Examination.

The main dates of the early period are from March 14 to March 24. Thus, by the beginning of the spring school holidays, many “early-term students” will already have time to pass the tests. And this may turn out to be convenient: among the graduates who have the right to take the Unified State Exam in the early wave are guys who will participate in Russian or international competitions and competitions in May, and during spring break they often go to sports camps, specialized shifts in camps, etc. d. Pushing exams earlier will allow them to make the most of the exams.

Additional (reserve) days early period of the Unified State Exam 2017 will be held from April 3 to April 7. At the same time, many will probably have to write exams on reserve dates: if in the last year’s schedule no more than two subjects were taken on the same day, then in 2017 most elective exams are grouped “in threes”.

Separate days are allocated only for three subjects: the Russian language exam, which is mandatory for graduates and all future applicants, as well as mathematics and the oral part of the foreign language exam. At the same time, this year “early-term” students will take the “speaking” part before the written part.

The March exams are planned to be distributed by date as follows:

  • March 14th(Tuesday) – exam in mathematics (both basic and specialized level);

  • March 16(Thursday) – chemistry, history, computer science;

  • 18th of March(Saturday) – Unified State Exam in foreign languages (oral part of the exam);

  • 20th of March(Monday) – Russian language exam;

  • March 22(Wednesday) – biology, physics, foreign languages (written exam);

  • March 24(Friday) - Unified State Examination, literature and social studies.

There is a nine-day pause between the main and reserve days of the early period. All additional tests for “reservists” will take place over three days:

  • April 3(Monday) – chemistry, literature, computer science, foreign (speaking);

  • 5th of April(Wednesday) – foreign (written), geography, physics, biology, social studies;

  • April 7(Friday) – Russian language, basic and.

As a rule, the bulk of those taking the Unified State Examination ahead of schedule are graduates of previous years, as well as graduates of secondary specialized educational institutions (in colleges and vocational lyceums, the secondary school program is usually “passed” in the first year of study). In addition, school graduates who will be absent for valid reasons during the main period of taking the Unified State Exam (for example, to participate in Russian or international competitions or to be treated in a sanatorium) or who intend to continue their education outside Russia can “shoot” the exams early.

Graduates of 2017 can also, at their own request, choose the date for taking exams in those subjects for which the program has been completed in full. This is relevant primarily for those who are planning - the school course on this subject is taught up to grade 10, and passing one of the exams early can reduce tension during the main period of the Unified State Exam.

Schedule of the main period for passing the Unified State Exam – 2017

The main period for passing the Unified State Exam in 2017 starts on May 26, and by June 16, most graduates will have completed the exam epic. For those who were unable to pass the Unified State Exam on time for a good reason or chose subjects with the same deadlines, there are reserve exam days from June 19. Like last year, the last day of the Unified State Exam period will become a “single reserve” - on June 30 it will be possible to take the exam in any subject.

At the same time, the exam schedule for the main period of the Unified State Examination 2017 is much less dense in comparison with early exams, and most graduates will probably be able to avoid “overlapping” exam dates.

Separate exam days are allocated for passing compulsory subjects: Russian language, basic and specialized level mathematics (students have the right to take either one of these exams or both at once, so they are traditionally spaced out over several days in the main period schedule).

As last year, a separate day is allocated for the most popular elective exam - social studies. And two separate days are allocated for passing the oral part of the exam in foreign languages. In addition, a separate day is allocated for the subject that is not the most popular on the Unified State Exam - geography. Perhaps this was done in order to space out all natural science subjects in the schedule, reducing the number of coincidences.

Thus, in the Unified State Exam schedule there remain two pairs and one “troika” of subjects, exams for which will be taken simultaneously:

  • chemistry, history and computer science;

  • foreign languages and biology,

  • literature and physics.

The exams must take place on the following dates:

  • 26 of May(Friday) – geography,

  • May 29(Monday) – Russian language,

  • May 31(Wednesday) – history, chemistry, computer science and ICT,

  • 2 June(Friday) – specialized mathematics,

  • June 5(Monday) – social studies;

  • June 7(Wednesday) – ,

  • the 9th of June(Friday) – written foreign language, biology,

  • June 13(Tuesday) – literature, physics,

  • June 15(Thursday) and June 16(Friday) – foreign oral.

Thus, most schoolchildren will prepare for graduation “with a clear conscience”, having already passed all scheduled exams and received results in most subjects. Those who missed the main examination period, chose subjects with the same deadlines, received a “fail” in Russian or mathematics, were removed from the exam, or encountered technical or organizational difficulties while taking the Unified State Exam (for example, a lack of additional forms or a power outage), exams will be taken on reserve dates.

Reserve days will be distributed as follows:

  • June 19(Monday) – computer science, history, chemistry and geography,

  • June 20(Tuesday) – physics, literature, biology, social studies, written foreign language,

  • 21st of June(Wednesday) – Russian language,

  • 22nd of June(Thursday) – mathematics at a basic level,

  • June 28(Wednesday) – mathematics at the profile level,

  • June 29(Thursday) – oral foreign language,

  • 30 June(Friday) – all subjects.

Can there be changes to the Unified State Exam schedule?

The draft official Unified State Exam schedule is usually published at the beginning of the school year, discussed, and the final approval of the exam schedule occurs in the spring. Therefore, changes are possible in the Unified State Exam schedule for 2017.

However, for example, in 2016, the project was approved without any changes and the actual exam dates completely coincided with those announced in advance - both in the early and in the main wave. So the chances that the 2017 schedule will also be adopted without changes are quite high.

As the Minister of Education stated, in 2017 the Unified State Exam system will undergo big changes. We will try to tell you in more detail what new rules for passing the Unified State Exam in 2017 are being discussed by representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science.

Rules for passing the Unified State Exam in 2017

The most important news, which may disappoint some schoolchildren: there is no talk of any cancellation of the Unified State Exam. The new Minister of Education, on the contrary, noted the need to preserve the unified state exam system and its further improvement. But the form of taking the exam will most likely undergo changes. And we will talk about abandoning the test part.

The former Minister of Education D. Livanov stated that tests have become obsolete as a form of testing knowledge. He said that the gradual abandonment of the test part of the exam in all subjects without exception is already being considered by his department. And by 2017 we will see the first results of such changes.

According to rumors, the new rules for passing the Unified State Exam also implied the introduction of a third compulsory subject. History (or biology, according to some sources) should have been added to the “Russian language + mathematics” pair. But since, according to the rules, all important changes must be published before the start of the academic year, and there is no information on the FIPI website, graduates of 2017 can breathe freely - there will be no third compulsory subject

However, the question of a new exam is still open. True, a decision on it will be made after open public discussions, as officials from the Ministry of Education assure.

Rules for submitting subjects

Russian language

Before the start of the school year, there was talk about introducing a new part to the Russian language exam - “speaking”, by analogy with the English “speaking”, that is, oral speech. However, the Ministry of Education decided to try this option first on the Unified State Examination, that is, on ninth graders. After the appropriate “run-in”, the oral part of the exam will reach the Unified State Examination.

Thus, no global changes are expected in the Russian language exam. There will be innovations only in some tasks, and all innovations will be aimed at expanding the material and making it more complex.

Mathematics

The division into two levels in the mathematics exam still remains. Those who decide to connect their future profession with the humanities will only need to pass a basic exam, but those who want to enter engineering and technical universities will have to pass a more complex specialized part. And in this part, small changes are possible: tasks of increased complexity may turn out to be truly “increased”, that is, requiring a non-standard approach to solution.

Physics

The physics exam will undergo the most serious and significant changes - the abandonment of the test part. That is, students will no longer have the opportunity to guess the correct answer from the list of provided options. The test part will be replaced by a block with short answers, that is, solutions in the form of numbers or words. Thanks to this innovation, physics will truly become the most difficult exam on the Unified State Exam list.

Biology

The test part will also be removed from the biology exam. Just like in physics, the place of tests will be taken by a model with short answers. The main block of tasks will also expand: it will include new types of tasks, compared to previous years. Those taking the exam will also be required to be able to work with tables, graphs and diagrams - the Unified State Examination in Biology will include tasks on restoring missing “pieces” from tables or flowcharts. But at the same time, the developers assure that the exam will not become too difficult (as in the case of physics).

Chemistry

Another subject from which the test component will be excluded will be chemistry. And even in the block with short answers, changes will appear - for example, there will be several correct options, and the student’s task will be to decide how many correct answers the problem actually has. The developers seem to have decided to simplify the exam - the number of tasks in the Unified State Exam in Chemistry 2017 will be reduced.

Social studies, history, computer science, foreign language, and geography remain virtually unchanged. All these subjects, according to officials from the Ministry of Education, will not cause any special problems for schoolchildren.

More than 700,000 11th grade graduates will take the Unified State Exam in 2017. Despite the spring days, it is difficult to rejoice: exam dates are approaching at an alarming speed. On what days are the most terrible tests of the exam epic in store for graduates? When will you have to take the mandatory Unified State Exam in mathematics and Russian language in 2017? What should you expect and what should you prepare for? Forewarned is forearmed! Or in Latin - prei monituse, prei minituse!

Official schedule for the Unified State Exam in 2017

The document with the approved Unified State Exam schedule for 2017 has not yet appeared on the official website of the FIPI (Federal Institute of Pedagogical Measurements), but it has already become known that the dates for holding state exams this year have been approved by the Russian Ministry of Education and Science.

The additional stage will take place from September 5 to 16. If formulated briefly and schematically, the standard Unified State Exam schedule for a graduate will look like this:
  • May 29 – geography and computer science and ICT;
  • May 31 – basic level mathematics;
  • June 2 – specialized level mathematics;
  • June 5 – social studies;

By the way, GVE for eleventh graders will be held according to a similar schedule. However, the foreign language course will be held on one day – June 13th. As for the Unified State Exam in mathematics at the profile level, it is not provided for within the GVE. On a note! Ninth graders will also be tested. The main stage of the OGE for them has the following schedule:
  • May 26-27 – foreign language;
  • May 30 – Russian language;
  • June 1 – history, biology, physics, literature;
  • June 3 – physics, computer science and ICT;
  • June 6 – mathematics;
  • June 8 – social studies, geography, chemistry, computer science and ICT.
Please note that ninth-graders will take the GVE on a similar schedule.

Mandatory exams and elective disciplines

The list of disciplines that must be passed at any cost traditionally includes the Russian language and mathematics. Although from 2017 they are going to add one more compulsory subject to these subjects. True, it is not yet known what kind of object this is. There are several candidates for this role: foreign language, social studies, physics and history. Today we know that you need to take only four exams: two mandatory and two optional. The graduate must determine his elective subjects himself, depending on what specialty at the university he plans to enroll in. The list of elective Unified State Examinations for 2017 consists of 12 subjects:
  • literature;
  • story;
  • social science;
  • biology;
  • physics;
  • chemistry;
  • geography;
  • computer science and ICT;
  • English;
  • German;
  • French;
  • Spanish.

Time of the Unified State Examination in 2017

Exams in all subjects will begin as usual at 10 am local time. The time allotted for passing the examination tests also remained unchanged:
  • social studies - 235 minutes;
  • history - 235 minutes;
  • Russian language - 210 minutes;
  • literature - 235 minutes;
  • profile level mathematics - 235 minutes;
  • basic level mathematics – 180 minutes;
  • chemistry - 210 minutes;

  • computer science and ICT - 235 minutes;
  • biology – 180 minutes;
  • geography – 180 minutes;
  • foreign languages - 180 minutes (plus 15 minutes “Speaking” section).
Attention! The time to pass the Unified State Exam in biology has increased by 30 minutes compared to the previous year. And in 2017, the time for the biology exam will be 3 hours 30 minutes.

Minimum scores for the Unified State Exam in 2017

The minimum number of points based on the results of the Unified State Examinations is different for those graduates who simply want to receive a certificate and for those who plan to enter a university.

Minimum Unified State Exam scores for admission to a university

In the Russian language you need to score 36 points. The Unified State Exam results for the specialized level of mathematics will be needed for those who intend to enroll in a university that includes the subject “Mathematics” in the list of entrance tests.
  • mathematics (specialized) – 27 points;
  • mathematics (basic) – 3 points (assessment).

Minimum Unified State Exam scores to obtain a certificate

  • in Russian language - 24 points;
  • in profile-level mathematics - 27 points;
  • in basic level mathematics - 3 points (score);
  • in physics - 36 points;
  • in chemistry - 36 points;
  • in computer science - 40 points;
  • in biology - 36 points;
  • in history - 32 points;
  • in geography - 37 points;
  • in social studies - 42 points;
  • in literature - 32 points;
  • in foreign languages - 22 points.

Changes and innovations in the Unified State Exam 2017

As mentioned above, it is planned to add one more to the two mandatory subjects for passing the Unified State Exam, but which one is unknown. A rather important change that affected the content of examination tests is the abolition of the test part for several subjects at once. Thus, tests have been canceled not only in Russian language and mathematics, but also in “oral” subjects. The test part of the exam remains only in the Unified State Exam in a foreign language.
An innovation that speaks of the improvement of the Unified State Exam and its attempt to keep up with the times is the passing of the Unified State Exam in computer science and ICT on a computer. Since 2017, the oral part “Speaking” has been introduced for exams in foreign languages. Now foreign languages will need to be taken 15 minutes longer - that’s how long the oral part will last. In addition to foreign languages, there is an idea to also introduce an oral part in the Unified State Exam in history, literature and social studies, but for now this is only in the draft. And in test mode, the oral part of the Russian language exam will be tested. Thus, in some regions of Russia, the Russian language exam in 2017 will include an oral part. Thus, there are no cardinal and unexpected changes in the 2017 Unified State Examination. And those innovations that have been implemented are obviously aimed at improving the examination testing system. The official Unified State Exam schedule for 2017 has already been approved and known. All that remains is to prepare well and show a decent level of knowledge! Good luck with exams!

Over the past years, as we are all accustomed to, schoolchildren in the 11th grade take mandatory exams, which should demonstrate their real levels of knowledge, help them enter a particular university, and receive the appropriate specialty. The schedule of Unified State Examinations for the coming year has already been approved. The government's decision states that next year children will begin to take the Unified State Exam, starting in February. If they thus achieve the required number of points, the test will be completed at this stage. If the passing grade fails, then students will face new tests a couple of months later, in April. In order to prepare for such an important moment in life with dignity, to obtain certificates, you need to get serious about this now, find the appropriate literature, if you need to start studying additionally with tutors, get acquainted with special video lessons, accurately decide on the subjects and start attending so-called elective classes for preparation for exams held at school.

Unified State Examination dates

In most schools, a few days before the exams themselves, they begin to conduct special classes for active preparation, consolidation of knowledge, and repetition of long-gone and half-forgotten material. it also helps to reduce the level of tension among children among the students themselves, instilling in them real hope: it is possible to pass the exam with the highest score. It is important to note that the academic year has already begun, and now there is already a list of subjects and a full exam schedule for the coming year.

However, even last summer, if anyone wanted, they could form, so to speak, a preliminary exam plan, based on the dates of the past year. By and large, the difference of a couple of days will not play a special role, but at the same time the student will have an excellent opportunity to clearly plan his free time, allocating a couple of hours to prepare specifically for exams.

Every year, Rosobrnadzor creates a clear plan for conducting the Unified State Exam. This year was no exception and by the 10th of last month the official schedule for the delivery of these works was adopted and approved.

Approved Unified State Exam schedule for 2017.

An updated version of the schedule appeared in the so-called additional period for exams. So the GVE and Unified State Exams should take place in September next year on the following dates:

  • Russian language - September 4,
  • basic mathematics, mathematics - September 7,
  • reserve day for Russian language - September 13
  • reserve in mathematics and Russian language - September 15.

In the current version of the schedule, in comparison with the first, the periods of the main period of passing the State Exam and Unified State Exam have been slightly adjusted. Thus, no exams should be held on May 26, although previously the GVE and Unified State Examination in geography were planned to be held on this day.

The following days are fixed:

  • May 29 - computer science, geography, ICT;
  • May 31 - Russian language;
  • June 2 - history and chemistry;
  • June 5 - basic mathematics of the Unified State Examination, mathematics of the State Examination;
  • June 7 - specialized mathematics;
  • June 9 - social studies;
  • June 13 - literature and physics;
  • June 15 - foreign language, biology;
  • June 16 - foreign languages orally;
  • June 17 - foreign language oral

The indicators for reserve days also changed slightly:

  • June 19 - chemistry, geography, history, ICT and computer science,
  • June 20 - physics, literature, social studies
  • June 21 biology, foreign language
  • June 22 - foreign language;
  • June 28 - basic and specialized mathematics,
  • June 29 - Russian language,
  • June 30 - remaining items are reserve.

You can see more details here

For several years in a row, school graduates have taken a mandatory exam, which can show the real level of their knowledge and help them enter the desired university. Unified State Examination Schedule 2017 has changed somewhat.

According to the government decision, in 2017, children will begin taking the Unified State Exam in February. If they can score the required number of points, then the test will end. If the passing grade is not “taken,” then the schoolchildren will face tests in April.

In order to properly prepare for this important moment and receive the desired certificates, many future graduates are already looking for the necessary literature, hiring tutors, and looking for video lessons on the Internet. In many schools, just a few days before the Unified State Exam, preparatory classes begin to slightly reduce the level of tension among students and instill in them hope that passing the exam with a high score is quite possible.

It is worth noting that only at the beginning of the academic year will it be possible to get acquainted with the full exam schedule for 2017. But at the same time, anyone can personally draw up a preliminary plan for passing exam papers, starting from the dates of last year.

In principle, one or two days of difference does not play a special role, but the student will be able to accurately plan his free time and allocate several hours for preparation.

Unified State Examination dates

Rosobrnadzor annually draws up a precise plan for conducting the Unified State Exam. In 2017, they will act according to the same scheme and after September 10 they will approve the official schedule for the completion of these works. Now we can only find out the approximate dates for all stages of the Unified State Examination.

Early examination

If you want to take the exams ahead of schedule and see what you are capable of even before the main part of the Unified State Exam begins, then you can take the papers in March. This approach allows students to significantly increase their certificate scores and increase their chances of entering a prestigious university.

If during the test your scores seemed unsatisfactory, then during the main part of the exam you can radically change the picture. So, the schedule for the early Unified State Examination is as follows.

Please note that in 2016, the period from April 15 to April 23 was designated as a reserve period. We'll find out a little later what dates will be set for 2017. Officials will provide this information, along with the approved schedule.

Main period

Exam date Item name
May 27, 2017 literature, geography
May 30, 2017 Russian language
June 2, 2017 mathematics (basic)
June 6, 2017 mathematics (profile)
June 8, 2017 social science
June 10, 2017
June 11, 2017 foreign languages (oral part)
June 14, 2017 foreign languages (written part), biology
June 16, 2017 computer science and ICT, history
June 20, 2017 chemistry, physics

Reserve period

Reserve exam dates are intended for those students who did not manage to get into the main period for valid reasons. It should be remembered that there are only a few reasons that exempt you from taking the exam in the main period. First of all, this is poor health, documented (certificate from a doctor).

In addition, the Unified State Examination requires a retake. As a rule, it takes place in September of the new academic year. Judging by the experience of past years, the retake is scheduled from September 10 to 17. In 2017, most likely, these dates will not be too different.

Changes in the Unified State Examination

Already in 2016, all students felt the burden of the changes that took place in the Unified State Examination system. Officials continue to fundamentally change the way this work is carried out so that the process of testing knowledge is more accurate and transparent. The most important innovations are:

  • The list of required subjects has been increased to three. Let us recall that until 2016, graduates took only two subjects (Russian and mathematics). Now history will be one of the compulsory subjects. It will have to be taken not only in test form, where it is possible to put answers at random, but also orally. In addition, a foreign language may be a presumable compulsory subject. However, while officials are skeptical about this decision and intend to introduce this test closer to 2020.
  • In total, at the Unified State Exam 2017 you will need to pass at least 4 subjects. Depending on which university the future applicant enters, the names of these subjects may change.
  • It is planned to test knowledge in the subject “Informatics” on computers. By 2017, the Ministry of Education must prepare appropriate programs for this.
  • Points earned on the Unified State Exam influence the final certificate of the graduate.
  • Mathematics will be taken in two standards: basic and specialized.

Don’t forget that you shouldn’t delay preparing for exams. During the school year, it is more difficult to find a few hours to devote to the Unified State Exam. Therefore, future graduates should become familiar with possible exam questions already in the summer. Considering that all tests can be easily found on the Internet, this task becomes quite feasible.
