“Spiritual local history of the Tambov region”

Explanatory note
Today, one of the most pressing problems of parents and schools is raising children as decent and worthy people, trying to fulfill the eternal laws of moral behavior and love for neighbors, which protect from many well-known troubles and harms, ranging from disrespect for parents and teachers, foul language, smoking and ending drugs, juvenile delinquency, suicide.

Many parents, teachers and young people themselves make efforts to properly educate and self-educate, but do not use the spiritual and moral law intended for this.

Moral education is ineffective if a heightened conscience and shame do not awaken and increase in a person. And the shame and conscience of the overwhelming majority of people cannot be awakened and strengthened without their faith, which in fact helps to become and be a highly moral, worthy person.

The spiritual and moral education of the child becomes an important necessity, which must begin as early as possible through introduction to the domestic spiritual and cultural tradition.

In the process of modernizing general education, taking into account the current sociocultural and economic situation in Russia relevance The program is growing, as it is associated with solving such problems of a general education institution as social and creative development of personality, socialization and personal development of children and adolescents in the conditions of modern disunity between young and adult members of society.

Novelty The program lies in the fact that it gives students the opportunity to become better acquainted with the history of the Russian Orthodox Church, with the customs and traditions of the entire Russian people, as well as the inhabitants of the Tambov region, with the Orthodox spiritual culture of Russia and the Tambov region, with Russian holiness.

Spiritual local history classes develop unconventional thinking, the ability to creatively perceive and reflect the world, form active and independent life position, vaccinate love for the Motherland, for family and loved ones, for the past of the Russian people, for customs and traditions, educate patience, prudence, kindness, caring, introduce with the life deeds of Russian saints, with Orthodox icons, with the holy ascetics of the Tambov land.
The program is typical, since it is compiled on the basis of the Course Program of the regional component of the basic curriculum “Spiritual Local History of the Tambov Region” - authors: Priest G. Andreev, Priest V. Lisyunin, A.G. Lozovsky, L.Yu. Evtikhieva, I.V. Klemeshova.

Explanatory note

The work program of the course “Spiritual Local History of the Moscow Region” was developed on the basis of the program “Spiritual Local History of the Moscow Region” author: L.L. Shevchenko for 8th grade. 1 hour per week, 34 hours per year are allocated for study.

Objectives of studying the subject.

The relevance of studying the subject “Spiritual local history of the Moscow region” (History of Christian Orthodox culture) is determined by the socio-pedagogical need for solving the problems of spiritual and moral education of schoolchildren. This subject sets the goals of historical, cultural, spiritual and moral education in the system of complete secondary education. In modern Russia, interest in its cultural and historical heritage is growing among all layers of society. The culture of Russia has been shaped for a millennium under the influence of the Orthodox religion. Without knowledge of the history of Christian Orthodox culture, it is impossible to master the values of Russian and world culture.

Currently, in different regions of Russia, conditions have been created for studying the history of Christian Orthodox culture in the public education system. The forms and methods of their implementation are determined by the legislation of the Russian Federation on education and the legal conditions for the activities of state and municipal educational institutions: the principles of state policy in the field of education and the requirements for the content of education (Law of the Russian Federation “On Education”, Articles 2, 14, 14.5).

In the process of teaching the subject “spiritual local history” the following tasks are set:

    give schoolchildren knowledge about the history of Christian Orthodox culture and its connection with the history of their native land;

    provide knowledge about Christian moral culture; Christians’ understanding of the ethical categories of good and evil, the meaning of life and show examples of their embodiment in the traditions of life, the lives of saints and heroes of the Fatherland;

    contribute to solving the problems of moral education of schoolchildren:

    formation of the qualities of patriotism and citizenship, responsible, respectful attitude towards the shrines of the native land, the heritage of domestic and world culture, love for national history, awareness of oneself as descendants of the glorious past of Russia and the Moscow region.

Basic concepts of the subject.

“Spiritual Local History of the Moscow Region” studies the history of Christian Orthodox culture in the lands of the Moscow region, presented in the traditions of people’s lives and objects of religious art. Local history is called spiritual because the object of its study is not the economic and political development of the Fatherland, but the history of its spiritual culture. People of different nationalities and religions have always lived in good neighborliness in the Moscow region. The Christian Orthodox religion has traditionally been the leading religion in Russia. It contributed to the formation of public consciousness and people's living environment , in which the most important ethical norms and values of life were preserved, represented, among other things, in creative forms of human life. Dictionaries define this content by the term “culture”. Christian culture named among the most important values in the life of Christians - faith in God, love for neighbors, love for the Fatherland. Cultural

Thematic educational blocks of content.

    Religious worldview. (Historical and cultural content of the Bible. Fundamentals of religious and philosophical thought.)

    Moral and ethical culture of Christianity.

    History of the religious cultural tradition of Russia (way of life).

    Written sources of Christian Orthodox culture.

    Religious art.

    Traditional religions of the world.

    Regional component of education (objects of Christian Orthodox culture in the lands of the Moscow region).

The basic parameters for determining the content are the specifics of the subject “Spiritual Local History of the Moscow Region,” which belongs to the new subject area “Religious Culture,” the structure of general education (the presence of educational levels), as well as the value orientations of schoolchildren, taking into account age characteristics.

Place of the educational subject “Spiritual local history of the Moscow region” in the Basic curriculum (educational) plan. The subject “Spiritual Local History of the Moscow Region” is studied at the level of basic general education as a component of an educational institution in the 8th grade for a total of 34 hours, 1 hour per week.

One of the important manifestations of a person’s spiritual and moral culture is love for his native land. The culture of Russia was created by people who loved their Fatherland. However, understanding this culture is impossible without knowing what was its semantic and value source and content. The culture of Russia is a visible reflection of the spiritual life of its people. The core of this spirituality for ten centuries has been Orthodox Christianity. It is precisely this that has always played a leading role in the history of Russian culture and statehood. Christianity taught people respect for every person, tolerance, selfless help, and sympathy. The content of the textbook “Spiritual Local History” defines a cultural person as someone who knows and respects the culture of his Fatherland and shows respect for the culture of other peoples. The broad content of the subject allows schoolchildren to learn about the system of moral values and reflect on the most important problems of human life: piety, love for the Motherland, responsibility. The subject makes it possible to give schoolchildren knowledge about Orthodox culture in the lands of the Moscow region and about centers of spiritual culture - Russian monasteries, about works of religious art (icons, paintings on religious themes, poetry, music, monuments of church architecture), about Christians’ understanding of the meaning of life, about the embodiment Christian piety in the traditions of people's life.

Teaching the subject allows you to expand the information field of educational knowledge and introduce into the content of school education materials that reveal the spiritual basis of Russian history. Routes of spiritual local history show schoolchildren examples of saints and heroes of Russian history as models of moral behavior. In the historical and cultural context, schoolchildren are presented with the moral ideal of human life - love for the Fatherland, as well as its understanding within the framework of the Christian worldview.

The perception of the phenomena of Christian culture, reflecting the ideal of holiness, was available in pre-revolutionary Russia to a child of any social environment. The lives of saints were the most widely read children's books, on the basis of which the process of education in the family and at school was built. The subject “Spiritual Local History” gives schoolchildren knowledge about the spiritual basis of the lives of famous people of Russia, who embodied the ideal of holiness in their lives, and figures of Russian culture, whose Christian worldview is reflected in their work.

Studying the history of Christian Orthodox culture in the lands of the Moscow region ensures the continuity of cultural traditions, the connection of generations, and preserves historical memory. Historical memory is the preservation and transmission to descendants of knowledge about the history of one’s Fatherland, culture, faith (religion), family pedigree and their reflection in the traditions and rules of life of the people. Christian Orthodox culture is revealed in the works of many outstanding figures of Russian culture who lived in the Moscow region: for example, poets A.S. Pushkin, M.Yu. Lermontov. F.I. Tyutcheva, VA. Zhukovsky, writers F.M. Dostoevsky, N.V. Gogol, IS. Turgeneva, N.S. Leskov, composers M.I. Glinka, P.I. Tchaikovsky, S.I. Taneyev, artists I.I. Shishkina. I.I. Levitan, A.A. Their life was connected with the history of the Moscow region.

    Fill in the missing words and indicate the source of the text: “I am the Lord your God, you shall have no gods except…..”. Insert the missing words: “The apostles are the closest y......I.....X.....; apostles M….., M…, L…, I,…. wrote four E...... Insert the missing words: “On the fiftieth day after... on... descended... in the form of tongues of fire”; “On this day the Orthodox Church celebrates the holiday ... ...”

    Give a definition of the concept “icon”. Describe two actions of the prodigal son. In Russian iconography, the following iconographic types of the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary are used: “Oranta”, “Hodegetria”, “...”. Fill in the blanks and define the concepts: “Baptism, Confirmation, Confession, Communion, Blessing of Anointing is ... the Orthodox Church.

    What are the parts of an Orthodox church called? What saints are depicted on icons? Who are called the enlighteners of the Slavs? Who, according to Christian tradition, was the first to preach the Christian faith in the lands of the Moscow region.

    List the symbols of Christian culture. Explain the meaning of the Christmas holiday. Explain why Christians call Christ Savior. Choose words that are opposite in meaning to the following: impatience, cruelty, envy, pride, selfishness, disobedience.

Knowledge control

The current check is carried out as part of the lesson, combined with tasks to consolidate the material. The homework is to compile routes of spiritual local history of the Moscow region and arrange them into an exhibition of creative works: “Christian Orthodox culture in the lands of the Moscow region.” Final control can be carried out in a combination of two forms.

    Checking within the framework of two control lessons using mutual control sheets (methodological technique of V.F. Shatalov). Organization of control. The teacher compiles a list of test questions based on the final tests and textbook questions, and in the first lesson prepares students by answering each test question. After independent home preparation on the same questions, in the next lesson a frontal written test is conducted: students answer in writing 5 questions proposed by the teacher from this list. The total number of questions is determined by the number of topics (30-40 questions).

    Testing in the form of an exhibition of creative works along the routes of spiritual local history. Organization. Students act as “tour guides” at an exhibition created during all classes. Each student, a “tour guide,” prepared texts for the guides while doing homework. The exposition of the exhibition is a sample of creative works of schoolchildren - stands, posters, photographs, hanging samples of illustrations, texts, drawings compiled by students on the studied topics of the routes of spiritual local history of the Moscow region. Guests of the exhibition are parents, students of other classes, and teachers. Both forms of control are person-oriented, humane in nature and allow the implementation of incentive, teaching, educational and developmental functions of control.

This is the most widespread type of science.” D.S. Likhachev The work program was developed on the basis of the Federal State Educational Standard for Basic General Education. The relevance of this program lies in the fact that currently there is an increased interest in studying the native land. Studying local history at school is one of the main sources of enriching students with knowledge about their native land, instilling love for it, and developing civic attitudes and skills. ^ EXPLANATORY NOTE
The program is intended for conducting club classes in historical local history. The program was developed on the basis of the program “Study of Historical Local History and Museum Studies”, author of the program G.R. Byalaya. The program is designed for 3 years of study.

The goal of this program is to develop students’ historical knowledge, readiness for creative and research activities, and the desire to study the history of their family, school, and region.

With the revival of interest in the national spiritual heritage and the search for the “national idea,” attention to national history and culture has increased. Local history is both a science and a scientific and popularization activity on a specific topic: the past and present of a region (local area), and a method based, as a rule, on interdisciplinary scientific connections.

Much attention in the program is paid to issues of museology and the history of material culture. The museum collections contain a variety of collections of objects that can be used in classes. Members of the “Istoki” circle have a unique opportunity to study the history of the region using original documents and objects from the museum’s collections.

The developed program provides an opportunity for children studying in the “Istoki” circle to get acquainted with the history and cultural traditions of their native land and the city of Inta, perceive the history of Russia as their own past and imagine their future in inextricably linked with the future of their region and their Motherland.

The program complements and expands knowledge of history, provides knowledge on the history of the native land and its material culture.

An integral part of the program is an excursion section, which allows you to fully utilize the enormous cognitive potential of natural, cultural and historical monuments and state museums in learning. Excursions to museums give children a real understanding of historical time and the subject world studied in class. Local local history expeditions make it possible to conduct research work, which every year provides new information and new materials that confirm already known chapters of history, and sometimes raises new questions that require careful study.

The program, which includes classroom lessons, excursions, local and long-distance expeditions, research work, work in the museum on processing new acquisitions, joint recreation during the holidays, allows you to use the principle of continuity of education and upbringing.

Object of historical local history are the history and culture of the Komi people. The essence of local history lies in a comprehensive study of the native land from various sources and on the basis of direct observations using modern scientific research methods. The main content of the course is the history and culture of the Komi Republic from ancient times to the present day, problems of nature conservation and historical heritage. The local history course is focused on developing children’s cognitive interest in studying their native land.

The program pays special attention to issues of political, economic, social, demographic, and cultural development of the region. The problem of the place and role of the region as a crossroads of Eastern and Western, European and Asian is considered. When studying the pre-Soviet past of the Komi Republic, attention is drawn to the connection between the history of the region and Russian history.

The course “Historical Local History” is designed for 3 years of study, 204 hours, at the rate of 2 hours per week.

Purpose of the program:

formation in children of historical knowledge, readiness for creative and research activities, development of their “social ecological intelligence”, nurturing the need to participate in the revival, preservation and development of the cultural traditions of their city and native land.

Objective of the excursions: visual acquaintance with the architectural and historical monuments of the city; familiarization with the museum's exhibitions, familiarization with the objective world of the studied segment of the history of our region.

A distinctive feature of the expedition is that children during expeditions work independently on a given topic:

  • get acquainted with a local history object, photograph it, sketch it;

  • write down the location of the object in the city in a diary, work with a map of the area.
Excursions around the city and to museums involve working with children from a museum guide or teacher who has prepared a certain amount of information on a given topic.

Pupils studying under this program have the opportunity to study individually with a teacher the following directions:

  • research work to study the history of the region;

  • research work to study the history of objects and documents stored in the funds of the local history museum;

  • preparing for a museum excursion on a specifically chosen topic;

  • production of items for the museum's auxiliary fund (posters, maps, dummies and various teaching aids);

  • production of models illustrating various local history topics being studied;

  • preparation for local history readings and conferences of various levels and purposes.
Work practice shows that during the year there may be situations that require changing the topic or increasing the hours for studying a particular topic due to the occurrence of any extreme, unforeseen, sensational or force majeure situation. In this case, the teacher reserves the right to adjust the educational and thematic plan, coordinating this with the school administration.

Contact number: 8 (475-48) 2 – 16 – 04 (working).

Explanatory note

to the additional education program

“Spiritual local history of the Tambov region” (hereinafter referred to as the Program).

The spiritual and moral education of a child must begin as early as possible through introduction to the domestic spiritual and cultural tradition. The program develops in students an interest in the spiritual culture of their people, respect for their historical past, forms in the younger generation national self-awareness, self-esteem, as well as responsibility for the fate of their Fatherland and the desire to benefit their land.

In the current situation, part of the tasks (which should, but, unfortunately, are not solved in the family) of introducing children into the spiritual and moral tradition of the Russian people, placing them as the basis for the way of children’s lives, can be taken on by a school educational institution. This is possible because it implies a joint understanding of various events by children and adults.

This event-content line can be based on the Orthodox Church calendar, in accordance with which you can plan and build your educational work in a group of children on spiritual and moral education.

According to K.D. Ushinsky, it will be filled with real, significant, meaningful, unimagined and meaningful events, “ whole children's year”, in which the most prominent place is, of course, occupied by holidays.

“Let everyone,” writes K.D. Ushinsky, “remember his childhood, and he will see that a holiday for a child is not at all the same as for us, that this is really an event in a child’s annual life, and that a child counts his days from holiday after holiday, how we count our years from one important event in our lives to another. The church with its solemn rituals, nature with its changes and the family with its holiday traditions - these are the three elements that illuminate in my memory every holiday of my childhood.”

This Program is modification programs for spiritual and moral education “Russian Monthly” by Potapovskaya O.M. and Makeeva I.P., “Spiritual local history of the Tambov region” priest G. Andreev, priest V. Lisyunin, Lozovsky A.G., Evtikheeva L.Yu., Klemeshova I.V. .

Program focus– intellectual and cognitive, as it is aimed at developing interest and cognitive activity in the field of studying the regional ethnocultural heritage of the native land.

Relevance of this Program is that it develops in students an interest in the spiritual culture of their people and respect for their historical past.

Principle of operation The program is structured as a specific cycle of lessons and is filled with pious content related to the Church calendar and celebrated holidays, such as holiday matinees for parents.
