Prologue

Move forward through the snowy tundra as part of your group until you encounter a flock of locusts, whose unhealthy activity must be suppressed quickly. After the battle, you will find a data post buried in the snow and, by activating it, you will be able to admire a schematic map of the area. Climb onto the rocks using the grapple and jump down on the other side of the pass near the abandoned hangar. There you will be attacked by the first more or less large Akrid in the game. It will be easier to deal with him if you remove the machine gun lying nearby from the broken BM. Having gained the upper hand, go to board the helicopter.

Episode 1

After an emergency landing in the jungle, boldly move forward and shoot at the flying and crawling representatives of the local fauna, not forgetting to activate a couple of posts along the way. As soon as you reach a small edge and meet reinforcements there, you will be attacked by another large enemy, which you should be able to deal with without any problems. The third third post is also located here, and a little ahead is the exit from this zone.

In the next location you will need to fight against the same homo sapiens as you. Break through the village, systematically clearing it of enemies, first of all eliminating the shooters on the hills. Pretty soon you'll come across a barred door, and when you open it, you'll be faced with the first tactical challenge of the game.

You are required to destroy the drilling rigs in the mine. To do this, you will first have to activate five generators scattered in this area, shooting from living enemies and automatic machine-gun turrets. Having mastered the first stage, you can proceed to the second - turn on four data posts and defend them for a minute and a half. If at least one post is disabled, the countdown will stop and you will have to recapture the lost position. After holding out for 90 seconds, you will blow up the mine and complete the task.

After passing through the large gate, you will find yourself in the bed of a small river, where a wide variety of living creatures live. After talking with her a little, you will find yourself near a small waterfall, which you can climb with the help of a well-known “cat”. After going a little further, get ready to meet the first boss in the game.

In the open space of the tank, our private company is attacked by a Category G locust. Despite its frightening dimensions, dealing with it is not so difficult if you maneuver more on the site and shoot accurately at its vulnerable spots, indicated by an orange glow. Having dealt with the overgrown man, go through the opened gate and activate 4 data posts in this area, simultaneously shooting at the brutal adversaries. All that remains is to enter through the gate and complete this chapter.

Move through the jungle towards the enemy base, taking out the guards and activating the data post along the way. There are two turrets located at the gate of the camp, so it is better to get to it not through the main entrance, but using a workaround along the hill, where you will find yourself inside with much less losses. Carry out a total clearing of the premises there, climbing higher and higher along the stairs of the buildings. Feel free to sit down at BM. By piloting this colossus, it will be much easier for you to overcome enemy resistance and get to the gate that marks the end of this zone.

Outside the gates, you need to continue to sow terror in the enemy’s camp, and at the same time activate three data posts. After this, you will be shown a video that very clearly hints that it will be hot now. You need to kill all the enemies in this location, whose forces are shown as a red scale at the bottom of the screen. Cross the bridge to the other side - the main battle will take place there. To be on the safe side, you can use a stationary turret, shooting the oncoming adversaries from it. Once you've dealt with all of them, get ready to face another big crocodile.

After passing a short gorge, you will emerge onto the battlefield, where fallen combat vehicles and a whole bunch of various weapons are scattered. It is best to collect all this stuff as quickly as possible, because the boss of the first episode will not keep you waiting long. Maneuver among small rocks, firing at vulnerable spots. You can even jump into its mouth as soon as your opponent is temporarily knocked down after your attacks and take a sightseeing tour of its insides, shooting small locusts. After several such medical examinations and total shelling of the boss from the outside, he will give up, and you will complete the episode.

Episode 2

In theory, we are recommended to get into the enemy city as secretly as possible, without getting caught in the spotlight and without activating alarm posts. However, if you are not a big fan of stealth, then there is absolutely nothing wrong with this - go straight to the goal and the result will be the same. Moreover, fighting in this zone cannot be avoided anyway. A little further we destroy the red alarm lights and activate the well-known data posts.

The next location is the complete opposite of any secretive actions. Due to a series of explosions, all the buildings are on fire, and you will have to continue to make your way forward in all this chaos. The only caveat is not to set your suit on fire, otherwise the loss of health from fire will also be added to the damage from enemy shots. You most likely cannot avoid problems, since the local enemy is armed with combat vehicles, but these problems are completely solvable.

Once at the railway stop, you need to capture the data post and defend it from enemy attacks for two minutes. The main thing is not to get carried away by the battle and not get hit by a train that periodically passes along the rails. After holding out for the specified time, you will board the train that will take you to a new task.

After getting off the train, move forward along the conveyor belt, fighting off the soldiers and jumping from one track to another in time so as not to fall under the millstones of the grinder. A little ahead you will need to show dexterity so as not to be crushed by the press threshing along your path.

After leaving the control room, walk along the corridor and sweep away everyone in your path. Finally, you will emerge into an open area patrolled by enemy soldiers and combat vehicles. But having dealt with the first portion of opponents, do not rush to rejoice - reinforcements will arrive by train, wanting to avenge their fallen comrades. Having finished with the people's avengers, you will have to sequentially activate three data posts and once again clear the area of everything running and moving. For a snack, a category G locust will appear, which your opponents will heroically blow off its head with a turret gun. However, he feels very good even without it, so you will have to finish the job for your opponents. To do this, I strongly recommend using one of the empty BMs here. Having dealt with it, you will complete the second episode of the game.

Episode 3

We need to keep the hypertrophied relative of earthworms at a distance from our train. To do this, first of all we go along the platforms to the end of the train so that we can admire our opponent in all his glory. Each of the platform cars has fuel tanks attached to them, which can be knocked down by shooting small fastenings. The tanks break off the train and briefly calm the worm. So move towards the head of the train, slowly feeding the tanks to the enemy. Eventually you will reach the locomotive and you need to hold out until the thermal energy loading meter reaches 100 percent, after which this sub-level will end.

Coming out at a stop among small one-story houses, we rush among them and eliminate all resistance from our opponents. Having dealt with the bandits (their number is indicated by the red scale at the bottom of the screen), we switch to two Akrids who jumped into the village.

Once again on the train, quickly get hold of a wide variety of weapons in the next carriage. Now you can comfortably begin to fire at an enemy train traveling on a parallel course with your train. For the time being, it is most convenient to shoot enemies with a sniper rifle. As soon as the trains approach each other and your team jumps onto the enemy train, move forward along its cars, not forgetting to activate 3 data posts along the way.

Having reached the turret gun, it's time to finally deal with the worm. To do this, you need to bring the shells to the activation zone, and then load them into the barrel. When shooting at the enemy, do not forget about the technical condition of the train. When the blue scale level is close to zero, run down and activate the cooling system. By following this algorithm of actions, you can complete the third episode without any problems.

Episode 4

Having escaped from the cell, fight your way through the corridors and activate the nearest data post. After this, systematically go down into the sewer, where the locusts are in full swing. Coming out into the light of day, you will have to clash not only with enemy infantry, but also with combat vehicles and stationary turrets. Fortunately, you can sit behind one of the ownerless BMs and overcome this section a little easier by unlocking the locked gate at its end.

In the next large hall you will have to sequentially activate 6 data posts that are heavily guarded by the enemy. The hangar here is multi-level, so to complete this task you will have to jump quite a bit. Having done this, we calmly exit through the opened gate, located next to the place where the last sixth post was activated.

Here you need to follow the mini-submarine along the docks, overcoming enemy attacks and activating data posts. Your goal should be the last post, located directly on the submarine. As soon as it is turned on, you will continue your journey on it, and a little later you will dive and get away from this place.

Having landed on the cape, capture the pillbox located on the right on the rock and activate the first of four posts in this area there. We break deep into the base and engage all other posts one by one. As soon as you do this, you will be attacked by enemy airborne forces. Try to shoot down enemy transports while still approaching, not allowing them to drop troops directly on your head.

Having run forward along the canyon, you will have to face a large locust, which can be destroyed from afar without any problems by shooting at its limbs from a heavy weapon. Ahead you will come across a force field, which can be turned off using the corresponding post located on a platform nearby. Then you will have to perform a similar trick several more times until you finally reach the last major enemy fortification. Having coped with the resistance, we pass through the gate to the next zone.

Having dealt with the enemy forces on the ground and having reached the sea bay, we fearlessly go under the water (preferably inside the BM) and, walking along the seabed, deal with the local inhabitants. After a couple of gates, this will not be easy to do, given that the size of some of the animals is quite impressive, and enemy combat units will intervene in the matter.

Once on the sea platform, you need to find a way to lower the drawbridge connecting your platform to the next one. To do this, we go forward and look for the aircraft. With its help, we clear the area on the ground and in the air, after which we sit down on another platform right next to the raised bridge. Now all that remains is to activate the mechanism, and the task will be completed. We go up to the top of the platform and go into the elevator leading to the shuttle launch site.

Clearing the complex from soldiers, and a little later from locusts, you will reach the launch zone, where you will see a space shuttle preparing to launch directly from under the water. Since we are not timid, we boldly dive under the water and go down to the very bottom of the site. There we turn on the data control post and prepare to load into the shuttle. But before that you will have to deal with the enemy submarine that has arrived in time, after sinking it you will go into space with a clear conscience.

Episode 5

This episode starts with you, as part of a group of bandits, chasing an army ship on some kind of scooter, shooting at its turrets. Once inside the ship, move forward along the ship's decks from the stern towards the bow, encountering resistance from NEVEC soldiers. As a reward for overcoming it, we will be able to open the hatch of the ship, letting our accomplices on board.

Now you need to climb to the upper decks and activate two control posts there. In addition, they must be repelled within one and a half minutes from attacks by enemy soldiers. When the ship is taken control, it is necessary to neutralize attempts by NEVEC forces to recapture it. Blow to the very top deck and shoot down incoming enemy helicopters from there. In addition, we cannot allow the enemy landing force to open the ship’s gates and let their main forces in through them, as you just recently did. Therefore, it is best to deal with the landing force while approaching your ship.

Now is the time to use the ship's laser on the legs of category G locust, which arrived in time for this celebration of life. Having mastered it, do not rush to leave the gun’s chair. Immediately after it, an enemy ship, completely similar to yours, will begin to attack you. Take turns hitting its wings and tail, not forgetting about the main source of threat - the laser cannon. The situation is complicated by the fact that you will have to periodically be distracted by enemy soldiers dropped onto the deck of your ship and other small targets. When the destruction of an enemy aircraft reaches a critical level, you need to go on board it and activate one post there, responsible for the ship’s self-destruction system, maintaining control over it for a minute. By the way, there is exactly the same post on your ship, so make sure that it is not captured by enemies. Once the time is up, return to your ship and celebrate the completion of another episode of the game.

Episode 6

Waking up in the shuttle, you almost immediately find yourself in outer space and fighting on the skin of the shuttle. Having got inside and captured the cabin, we calmly fly up to the orbital station. Move along it, shooting at all types of enemies, until you reach the technical compartment.

Here you need to activate five data posts. In order to make this as convenient as possible, I recommend that you immediately jump to the bottom of the central shaft and turn on the first post there. Now you can systematically rise higher and higher, activating more and more new posts along your way. It will be much more convenient to climb if you use air scooters that can fly vertically upward. Having activated all five posts, we climb to the very top of the mine and climb up the small ladder that has descended, marking the completion of this location.

Congratulations! You have become the owner of compact spacecraft, on which you can leave the orbital station and return back to the planet. Only before this you will have to fight hard for them, fighting off attacks from superior enemy forces. The climax of the battle will be an armored enemy combat vehicle, whose destruction will take quite a lot of time. But now you can safely fly to the surface of the planet, maneuvering through a mine barrier and shooting it with guns.

Having plopped down in the middle of the snowy steppe, we move forward, fighting not only with locusts, but also with poor visibility caused by the storm. Having reached the pillbox, hold the defense in it from the locusts attacking you, and as soon as you kill them all in the immediate vicinity, you can move towards the crevice with lava, where the locust of category G will be waiting for you. Destroying it is not at all difficult, because your thermal energy will be constantly replenish while you stand in lava streams. All that remains is to go through the destroyed barrier and finish the location.

Break through the narrow streets of a dilapidated city, literally strewn with locusts of various types. Just go straight ahead - you won’t turn where you don’t need to go anyway. As a result, you will reach a large pulsating clot located right in the middle of the lava. First, treat it with the heaviest weapons at your disposal. After this, you need to attach your PDA to one of its tentacles, after which it will light up with a bluish glow, and the orbital weapon will be able to fire a targeted shot at it. Now all that remains is to wait for the command to retreat and run away to a safe distance, where you can calmly admire the final screensaver of the game.

Gameplay and innovations

One of the features of the game is the vivid cinematography of everything that happens; the spectacle of any moment is at the forefront everywhere. Sometimes it seems that one enchanting moment prevents the end of another. This happens when, during the next serious breakthrough through crowds of bloodthirsty enemies, we are greeted by the usual quick time event for console games, which is also very beautiful and colorful, spectacular and spectacular. We won’t meet any new enemies; they all migrated to us from the first part, but acquired a new look thanks to the new graphics core. Here we have a complete variety of shapes and sizes, from small, jumping ones that look like overgrown frogs, to the huge size of giants as an enemy.

In addition to the initial machine gun, in the surrounding area you can always find a shotgun, a grenade launcher, a plasma cannon, and if you are very lucky, a multi-barreled Gatling gun. Some powerful barrels that we find installed on the base of stationary turrets can be removed and carried with you, or installed on another stand and open more targeted fire in a new place than when shooting with your hands.
