Krasnoyarsk State Medical University named after. Professor V.F. Voino-Yasenetsky founded on November 21, 1942. Students are trained in accordance with Russian and international standards on the basis of 4 theoretical buildings, 48 medical institutions in Krasnoyarsk and the region. The annual admission of students on a budgetary basis is about 400 people, and almost the same number are accepted for extra-budgetary education. The target enrollment from rural areas, autonomous republics and districts is 42-47% of the number of students admitted on a budgetary basis. Currently, about 3.5 thousand students, 162 graduate students, 6 doctoral students, 312 residents, 464 interns are studying at the university. Every year, about 5.5 thousand doctors from the Krasnoyarsk Territory and other territories receive advanced training within its walls. In total, since its founding, the university has trained about 40 thousand doctors, 90% of whom worked or are working in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

In 1995, by orders of the State Committee for Higher Education and the Ministry of Health of Russia, the institute was renamed the Krasnoyarsk State Medical Academy. And in 2008, based on the results of state certification, by order of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation, the university received a new status - Krasnoyarsk State Medical University named after Professor V.F. Voino-Yasenetsky.

Currently, 731 teaching staff work at Krasnoyarsk State Medical University, of which 141 are doctors of medical sciences, a fifth of whom are professors, 343 candidates of medical sciences (58.6% are associate professors). The degree of competence of the university teaching staff is 66.2%. Among the teachers there are 21 people - Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, 2 Honored Scientists of the Russian Federation, 2 Honored Inventors of the Russian Federation, 2 Honored Workers of the Higher School of the Russian Federation, 6 Honorary Workers of the Higher School of the Russian Federation, 67 corresponding members and academicians of public academies.

The university has 8 scientific and educational centers, conducts research in 6 priority research areas, including in cooperation with universities and centers of the Russian Federation (Krasnoyarsk, Moscow, Tomsk, Novosibirsk, etc.) and foreign countries (Japan, USA, Germany, France, Italy, etc.). The research is interdisciplinary in nature, supported by large grants from domestic and international foundations (including within the framework of the Federal Target Program of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Council for Grants of the President of the Russian Federation to support scientific research of young scientists, the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, JSPS, the Ministry of Education and Science of Japan, the international program " Center of Excellence: Integrative Brain Research (Japan), etc.). The research results were published in leading Russian and foreign peer-reviewed journals.

Krasnoyarsk State Medical University has 3 specialized dissertation councils for the defense of doctoral and master's theses (9 specialties). The scientific and practical journal “Siberian Medical Review” published at the university is included in the list of journals of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation. Over the past 5 years, university staff have published more than 1,000 articles in journals listed by the Higher Attestation Commission and in international peer-reviewed journals, 107 monographs, 86 collections of scientific papers, more than 260 methodological recommendations and manuals. 160 patents for inventions were received, 94 applications were recognized as rationalization proposals. 50 regional, 21 republican, 57 international scientific and practical conferences were organized. Received 10 medals and 80 diplomas from international and Russian exhibitions.

All research projects carried out by KrasSMU scientists in collaboration with scientific centers of the Russian Federation (Krasnoyarsk, Moscow, Tomsk, Samara) and foreign countries (Japan, Italy) are focused on the fastest possible implementation of the results of fundamental research into clinical practice (the concept of translational medicine). The university is accredited to conduct clinical research. The Center for Experimental Animals of Krasnoyarsk State Medical University is being reconstructed, which will be accredited by an international agency and will become the basis for preclinical research and the production of transgenic animals - experimental models of human diseases.

In March 2011, a team of scientists from Krasnoyarsk State Medical University (5 people) was awarded the Russian Government Prize in the field of science and technology for young scientists for 2010 for the development of new technologies for controlling the molecular mechanisms of intercellular communication for the tasks of translational medicine.

The university has a center for scientific and medical information, there are over 2000 computers, 15 computer classes, and access to international medical databases. The university is the initiator of the program for the formation of a unified information system for medical and pharmaceutical universities in the Russian Federation; the experience of introducing IT into the educational process is recommended by the Council of Rectors of medical and pharmaceutical universities in the Russian Federation for implementation at the federal level. The university's scientific medical library contains about 600 thousand copies of literature.

The innovative infrastructure of the university includes the Research Institute of Molecular Medicine and Pathobiochemistry, interdepartmental research laboratories, the Central Research Laboratory, the Russian-German Center for Respiratory Support and Critical Care Medicine, the Experimental Animal Center, reconstructed in accordance with international standards, and the International Associated Russian-French Laboratory integrative anthropology, Russian-Canadian Laboratory of Biomolecular Medical Technologies, Russian-Japanese Partnership in the Field of Developmental Neurobiology, Russian-Japanese Center for Microbiology, Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases, University clinics (dental clinic, University clinic, Professor's clinic).

In 2010, on the initiative of Krasnoyarsk State Medical University, the Krasnoyarsk Biomedical Cluster was formed in the region, uniting 25 “anchor” organizations of the region (universities, research institutes, industrial enterprises). Since 2011, Krasnoyarsk State Medical University has become a member of the national technology platform “Medicine of the Future”.

To increase the efficiency of grant activities, the university operates a Department of Grants and Programs, and provides training in grant writing to graduate students and grant managers of departments. To effectively implement research results, the university operates a Center for Transfer of Biomedical Technologies. The university’s activities in this direction are based on the concept of translational medicine, designed to ensure the most effective implementation of the results of fundamental biomedical and interdisciplinary research into clinical practice.

In 2010-2011 7 projects of young scientists of Krasnoyarsk State Medical University received support within the framework of the “UMNIK” competition of the Foundation for the Promotion of Small Forms of Entrepreneurship. In 2010-2011 scientific and technical expertise was carried out and funding began for the Krasnoyarsk State Medical University project for the production of wound coverings using nanobiopolymers by the State Corporation "Rusnano". In 2011, with the participation of Krasnoyarsk State Medical University, 5 small innovative enterprises were created, the projects of which take part in the “Start-2011” program in the areas of “medicine”, “instrument making”, “biotechnology” (2 projects were supported).

In Krasnoyarsk State Medical University, one of the first medical universities in the Russian Federation, in 2006, a quality management system for training specialists was introduced and certified according to the requirements of the international standard GOST R ISO 9001-2001 (ISO 9001: 2000) in relation to the educational process. In 2010, the quality management system was recertified in accordance with the requirements of GOST R ISO 9001 - 2008 in relation to activities in the field of education and scientific research. Founded in 1942. The university structure includes 6 faculties and 2 institutes.

Educational activities are carried out at various levels of training: pre-university, higher professional education, post-graduate and additional. The educational process is aimed at achieving the unity of fundamental, humanitarian and professional training of specialists.

Postgraduate training is carried out in internship, clinical residency, full-time and part-time postgraduate studies, in addition to university training - at the faculty of advanced training and retraining of specialists.

Teaching at the university is currently carried out in 69 departments, where 546 full-time teachers work, of which 123 are doctors of medical sciences and professors. The level of competence of the teaching staff is 78%.

The university is modernizing its teaching and laboratory facilities. A large number of teaching aids are produced. New forms of training are used: laboratory modeling of physiological processes, electronic teaching aids, distance education.

The university has a faculty of pre-university preparation. On its basis, Krasnoyarsk State Medical University has created and operates a Small Medical Academy, evening (three- and six-month), part-time and part-time preparatory courses. Details can be found by phone. 228-08-66.

Deadlines for submitting applications to faculties:

from June 21 to July 25 inclusive - for places financed from the federal budget, faculties with full-time education (with Unified State Examination results in subjects);
from June 21 to July 25 inclusive - for places with payment of tuition fees on the basis of agreements with legal entities and (or) individuals for full-time study (with Unified State Examination results in subjects);
from June 21 to July 5 inclusive - for places financed from the federal budget and with payment of tuition fees for applicants who will take the Unified State Exam in the period July 8-19;
from June 21 to July 10 inclusive - for places financed from the federal budget and with payment of tuition fees for correspondence courses, for persons receiving a second higher education, for foreign citizens.

results of All-Russian Olympiads (for winners and runners-up) in biology and chemistry;
Unified State Examination results in biology, chemistry and the Russian language for applicants for budgetary and contract education at the medical, pediatric, dental and pharmaceutical faculties (full-time, part-time forms of study);
Unified State Examination results in biology, mathematics and Russian language for applicants to the Faculty of Clinical Psychology.
results of written testing in biology, chemistry and the Russian language for applicants for distance learning, for persons receiving a second higher education, for foreign citizens.
