Hexagram 12 love interpretation. Detailed meaning of the hexagram

Description of the external and hidden hexagrams

In the manifest world, under the endless blue sky, a huge golden slab shimmers in the sun. Already now in reality the vibration of God, the vibration of Love, is maximally manifested. It is impossible to accommodate more at the moment.

A man found a slab of gold, abandoned everything he was doing, and began burying it so that no one would see it. Fears came, lest I lose this wonderful position, lest I lose such a wonderful love.

The man has completely lost his peace, it seems to him that someone might find his treasure. His whole life turned into burying a golden slab. Fears intensify. Concern about maintaining one’s position begins to crowd out Love and God itself.

Where gold used to shine in the sun, tomorrow there will be a lot of earth. The desire to protect your love from any accidents will lead to the opposite result. All that will remain is a strong and secure state, in which there is very little love.

In the SUBCONSCIOUS, the tree penetrated its roots deep into the ground, and with thin branches rushed into the blue sky. Life flows rich in a variety of events. It combines spiritual quests with concern for material wealth.

A mountain begins to grow right under the tree. Ensuring an unshakable position becomes the main motive in life.

The higher the mountain, the stronger the gusts of wind at its top. The subconscious desire for security of one's position poses a real threat to life itself.

The tree will not withstand the wind and will fall down the mountain. Where a tree used to bloom, tomorrow a mighty mountain will rise up into the clouds. Life, as a dangerous and unpredictable adventure, will be replaced by a secure and secure position. Life will end, sojourn will begin.

General interpretation of hexagram No. 12

In manifested reality, the perspective of perception and assessment of reality shifts towards the material plane. The arrival of the big Earth means an increase in demands for security, stability, life support, and prosperity. Fears about the possible loss of one’s current position, current love, will push divine love into the background. JEALOUSY. On the subconscious plane, the focus of attention shifts from subtle phenomena (refinement, penetration of wood) towards a solid, unshakable existence (mountain). Everywhere the vibration of stability and resistance to all changes, spiritual search, and creativity are intensifying. Worrying about preserving love will destroy life and love itself. JEALOUSY.

JEALOUSY - this is the dominant vibration of this plane and it does not necessarily apply personally to the questioner. It may well be the other way around: they may be jealous of the questioner himself, his achievements and benefits.

MULTIDIMENSIONALITY

(OPPOSITE VIBRATION OF HEXAGRAM No. 12)

NON-ATTACHMENT

NON-ATTACHMENT - you can have any blessings, any wonderful love, but remain independent from them, ready to lose everything at any moment. DISATTACHMENT destroys the very basis of JEALOUSY. If UNATTACHMENT is elevated to a canon, to a categorical requirement, then it itself becomes a very strong attachment and gives rise to JEALOUSY..

Book of Changes - interpretation of hexagram No. 12

Pi. Decline

Perhaps in no other pair of hexagrams is their opposition as noticeable as in this hexagram and the previous one. This has always been felt so much that their names created an idiomatic expression in Chinese corresponding to ours “like heaven and earth,” i.e. "not at all similar." This expression is already attested in the poem “On the Wife of Chiao Chung-ching,” the largest Chinese epic that emerged at the turn of the 2nd and 3rd centuries. AD But, of course, it is possible that this idiom existed before. Complete dissimilarity is expressed here not in spatial statics, but in the dynamics of development, where Rise and Decline are the greatest contrast. There is the unity and interaction of the forces of Light and Darkness, Heaven and Earth. Here there is a complete lack of connection between them: Heaven (trigram Creativity) is at the top and strives higher, Earth (trigram Fulfillment) is below and cannot rise upward. There is no interaction between them. Light - the great - departs, and darkness - the small - comes: the picture is the opposite of the previous one. If there we were talking about spring, then here it can only be about autumn. This, of course, does not mean that all activities are suspended. On the contrary, some forces may be very active here, but they are of a lower order. To use the language of commentators, there are nonentities at work here, whom the text itself calls “worthless people.” To understand the pattern of the emergence of this situation after the previous one, you just need to take into account that there the content of the concept of Flourishing included the complete acceptance of negative elements. When the forces of creativity at the end of the previous situation begin to dry up and the strengthening of the independence of these negative elements increases, then with the logical development of this process the situation necessarily comes to the one that is expressed in this hexagram. It expresses the situation in which, after reaching the heights of knowledge, a breakdown occurs and all the inhibitory forces, everything reactionary, begins to act, not subordinate to active knowledge. The reason for this is what often happens in the practice of cognition: during the highest tension of cognition, with insufficient clarity of thought, an illusion is recognized as reality, very little different from the truth. So to speak, “almost truth” is the cause of the greatest decline in knowledge. This process of increasing delusion is expressed in this hexagram. It occurs, like all other processes, in two successive waves. But in the aphorisms of individual traits, the characteristics of the situation are not so much indicated as actions, qualities, etc. necessary to overcome this situation. This hexagram ends the process of independent personal development. For further fruitful development, she needs to immerse herself in society, to come to similar individuals for joint activities. This is expressed in the name of the following hexagram: Like-minded people. The aphorism of the present hexagram reflects only the most essential of the above thoughts, but they find their confirmation both in the aphorisms of individual features and in the general system. The aphorism of this hexagram is as follows:

Worthless people of decline are not conducive to perseverance
a noble man. The great goes away, the small comes.

1. Here the process of decline is only at the very beginning. We can easily overcome it. Individual isolation does not yet make itself felt, and joint activity of like-minded people is possible. It is this kind of collectivity that can save the situation here. All that is needed is its persistent preservation. Then development is still possible, because through joint efforts it is still possible to understand the harm of “almost truth” and stop it in time, immediately striving for what is completely true. This is expressed in the text as follows:

At the beginning there is a weak point.
[When] a reed is torn, [other] stems [stretch behind it],
since it [grows] in a bunch.
Fortitude is fortunate. Development.

2. This situation is a situation of decline. But the text is not only a description, it gives advice on how to overcome the decline. It is here that this is possible, because this position, as a central one, occupied by a weak line, normally has a correct correspondence in the active fifth position. Here, “nonentities”, symbolizing everything reactionary, can join the person moving forward. It is he who is pointed out the need to accept them. This is happiness for them, because in such acceptance there is an opportunity for their proper growth. But for such a great man, leading the lesser, the situation still remains a situation of decline. However, he is able to find a way out of it by accepting with full activity those who join him. If he decides to do this, then no one can confuse him in his development. However, on the other hand, the commitment to “almost truth” is intensified here so much that the situation favors the activities of only nonentities. The activity of a genuine seeker of truth here experiences enormous limitations. However, they only serve as impulses to overcome them for those who can rightfully be called a seeker of truth, i.e. a person living a cognitive life. The text expresses it this way:

The weakest feature is in second [place].
Embrace those adjacent [to you].
Happiness for insignificant people.
For a great man, development is in decline.

3. A crisis, which is always an extremely difficult situation, becomes especially acute in a situation of decline. In the gradual intensification of decline, it is the third position that represents its greatest depth, for the positions following it already express a certain liberation from decline. In the symbolism of the “Book” this is expressed by the fact that they are occupied with the trigram of Creativity, full of activity to overcome decline. Here is the maximum development of the forces of darkness. In knowledge, they lead a person to accept the semblance of truth for truth itself. This situation is most powerful here. Nothing can change it, no active intervention by the person himself is possible. When realizing this situation, a person will be overcome by a feeling of shame, and it can completely confuse him. And his activity can only be aimed at courageously enduring this feeling. This is the most important thing, and the “Book of Changes” indicates here in an extremely laconic formula only this side of the process:

The weak point is in third [place].
[You will be] full of shame.

4. Saving the situation on your own is also unattainable here. Only as a mercy can help be given from one who occupies the next, more favorable position. This is possible because the period covered by the characteristics of the trigram Execution has already passed and another period is beginning, characterized by the trigram Creativity. It also symbolizes the sky, which was thought of in ancient China as the inspiration of fate. According to these views (reflected in the language itself), the will of heaven and fate coincide. Entering the period of this trigram, Creativity means “the presence of the will of heaven,” thanks to which the situation improves and the situation becomes impeccable. This is also supported by the fact that all the forces of light here act together, as united into one trigram. They also acted together in the first position of the previous hexagram. All this characterizes the situation in which for the first time the opportunity is given to correct the damage from false beliefs, from beliefs in which the semblance of truth was accepted as truth. This possibility of correction must be stimulated by the most progressive elements of knowledge or from a person who has gone forward in his development. The text puts it in these words:

The strong point is in fourth [place].
There will be a command [from above], and there will be no blasphemy.
All who are with you will come to the blessing [of heaven].

5. The maximum development of the forces of creativity, which occurs in this position, makes it possible, despite the general situation of decline, to demonstrate such activity, thanks to which the process of decline can be stopped. But this does not happen automatically, by itself, but requires the energetic and vigilant intervention of the person himself. Similar energy is expressed in the fact that this is the fifth (active) position and that it is occupied by the light (active) feature, the middle (culminating) in the trigram of Creativity. Such a force here, in accordance with the norm, takes the position of a great man and has the correct correspondence - resonance in the second weak, pliable trait. Therefore, the aphorism expresses the happiness that awaits such a great person who is able to stop the process of decline. However, this situation is not yet such that happy inactivity is permissible. Decline is still present, and we must continually ensure that this beginning of the elimination of decline does not perish. It should be strongly strengthened - as if tied to a rapidly growing mulberry that cannot be uprooted. Thus, knowledge, gradually clearing itself of the dominance of illusions, must be vigilantly strengthened in order to avoid a state of decline. In the text, this is expressed in verse (for the sake of accuracy of content, we translate it into prose):

The strong point is in fifth [place].
Stop the decline.
A great man is happy. It would not have perished, it would not have perished!
Strengthen [it] with the wildly growing mulberry tree.

6. At this last position the situation of decline ends. All previous activities were aimed at its elimination. That is why a moment comes when the process of decline must not only be stopped, as at the previous stage, but also overthrown. However, even here he makes himself felt with all his inherent features, with his substitution of truth for “almost truth”, etc., so that at first this position is also characterized by decline. But this is only the case at the beginning. After this comes the joy of overcoming decline. It leads to the next situation, which is characterized by teamwork. The end of the process of decline is expressed in the following words:

There is a strong feature at the top.
Overthrown decline.
First decline, [and] then joy.

The twelfth pictogram represents an interesting arrangement of the traditional trigrams of Heaven and Earth, which lead to failure.

Hexagram 12 is an interpretation of endless distance, opposition and decline, since there is no unity of opposites here, as well as a necessary peace. Heaven and Earth are completely inconsistent with each other according to the Chinese book, so Yin or softness is on the inside, and Yang or hardness is on the outside.

Hexagram 12, Pi, Decline.

  • Qian (Heaven) from above. Tension. Father. Northwest. Head.
  • Kun (Earth) from below. Obedience. Mother. Southwest. Stomach.

Failure. A failed robber. Unfavorable fortune telling for a noble person. The big goes, the small comes.

In the system of this symbol, restraint and rationality do not play any role in conditions of destroyed structure and lack of order. The pair of 11 and 12 hexagrams is the most opposite in the book. The complete difference lies in the dynamics of development, since Light and Darkness have no connection, they strive in different directions. The great passes away, and the small appears.

This symbol tells us about the coming of autumn. Activity does not stop completely, but only forces of the lowest level gain activity. At this stage, according to the book of I Ching, bad people are very active, i.e. traitors and nonentities. If at the moment of the Heyday negative elements were accepted by the creative process, today the forces of creativity are too weak, and this strengthens the independence of the negative.

After the heights of knowledge, a breakdown has occurred, and the inhibitory forces are no longer subject to it. And this happens because the illusion is recognized as reality and truth due to insufficiently clear thoughts. The decoding of the pictogram says that delusion is growing, and independent personal development is coming to an end. Now it will manifest itself in the future only within the framework of collective work.

Characteristics of Yao according to Zhou Gong

  • Six at first. Greedy and harmful individuals offer opportunities to make money. It's better to be poor and dream high. Follow good nature. Remember that people have different desires than you. They don't want to be someone you like.
  • Second six. People accept a good person and stay with him. This is a period of good fortune for individuals of a lower order. It's time for privacy. The bad ones are drawn to the great man to carry out their plans. Of course, a good person wants to help, but he must decide to go his own way. There is no need to get involved in litigation.
  • Third six. People are ashamed of themselves, but don't show it. A low-class man gets a big post, but he realizes that he is a deceiver. Even the most vicious and dissolute individuals are aware of their stupidity and depravity. A bad omen for the patient.
  • Nine fourth. According to the book of fates, this Yao speaks of the impeccability of a person who acts according to commands. A person makes his dreams come true and does not make mistakes. Colleagues do the same. It is not necessary to follow the developed plan, you need to adapt to the situation. A person who deserves praise behaves modestly.
  • Nine five. The stagnation ends. Success must be maintained. It is necessary to accumulate a strong reserve. If failure occurs, you can start all over again. The main thing is to be discerning. A great man should worry about how his work can be connected.
  • Top nine. Multidimensional study of the hexagram indicates the onset of a dead point, followed by good luck. If you persevere through difficult times, you can keep your dreams alive and see the results of your work. This is a great time to make big efforts that will help get rid of further difficulties.

Detailed meaning of the hexagram

  1. The process of decline begins. It can be overcome without difficulty. The individual isolation of the parties is not too pronounced, which means there is a chance for joint activities. The collective work of like-minded people will save the situation, which can be saved. In the process of learning through joint efforts, we can realize how dangerous false truth is.
  2. The Book of Changes reduces the interpretation of hexagram 12 not only to the decline itself, but also to a description of its overcoming. Good advice is found precisely at this stage. The central position is occupied by a weak line. This means that all nonentities can join the great man if he allows it. Those who go forward must accept such forces in order to give them happiness and opportunities for proper growth. The true seeker of truth faces serious difficulties, but they motivate him to overcome obstacles.
  3. The crisis is reaching its peak. A person finds himself in the worst possible situation due to the activity of the forces of Darkness. The process of cognition is characterized by the fact that a person again believes in the wrong truth. The situation cannot be changed and active intervention is impossible. If the individual is aware of his situation, he will be embarrassed and ashamed. All your activities must be directed toward courageously enduring these sensations.
  4. In the I Ching book, the interpretation of this trait is again associated with the lack of chances for independent salvation. Help from a person with a more favorable position is possible only as a mercy. In other words, the forces of Light act in one trigram, and this makes it possible to improve the situation. At this stage, you can get rid of false beliefs and reduce the damage from them. The main thing is that the opportunity comes from progressive cognitive elements or from the person ahead.
  5. There are some steps that can be taken to stop the decline. This is possible thanks to the maximum development of creative powers. Improvements will not happen automatically, so you need to intervene vigorously and be vigilant. Inactivity with a positive outcome is impossible here. We must ensure that the beginning of eliminating the decline does not disappear without a trace. Thus, consciousness is strengthened in the process of cleansing from illusion.
  6. The decline ends. The substitution of truth is still felt, the joy of overcoming is felt. The transition to the next stage of collective work begins.

Expanded interpretation of the sign

The Chinese Book of Changes associates the meaning of this hexagram with the vow of silence and modesty. You should not show your material wealth, talents and intelligence. Flatterers, cunning and envious people will try to find out secrets and ruin authority by taking away the position. In this situation, you should not risk money in business.

Tension remains even under favorable conditions. Don't get involved in conflicts if you want to preserve your truth. Show patience and nobility of soul. It is better not to strive for the society of the elite, because everything is not in order there from a moral point of view. Just do what you love and your profits will increase.

The symbol speaks of testing a person by fate. He needs to show resistance to the temptations of life and extinguish excessive emotionality. Only a mature and experienced person can deal wisely with fools and harsh laws. It's better to keep your distance in everything.

There may also be disappointment in the area of personal relationships. New people and feelings appear, but you don’t need to trust them. Over time, everything will be revealed in its true light. Even friends and admirers can have selfish intentions. Communication with such people leads to trouble.

It is difficult to rely on anyone because quarrels arise even with close friends. However, even in such a situation, you can get good advice from a subordinate or young person. You should not start new projects during a period of uncertainty. Soon everything will change for the better.

Associative reading of the hexagram

  • The mirror is broken. An image of impossible recovery.
  • The disease confined the man to his bed. A symbol of strong ambition.
  • Sitting silhouette by the road. According to the book of changes, this is an expression of the long journey ahead.
  • The arrow fell before the shot. There is no way to reach the goal.
  • Mouth with tongue. An image of a kiss or fresh gossip.
  • The man laughs and claps his hands. A full examination of the pictogram suggests that great happiness is always followed by sadness.
  • The central image is that people cannot live together.

Interpretation of the sign by Wen-wan

  1. The symbol talks about the success of evil people. A good person has no support.
  2. This is the time for everything unimportant and ordinary. Weak features rise from below and displace strong lines.
  3. Hexagram of July. Suitable for spring, but bad in winter and summer.
  4. There is not enough strength to prevent destruction. Wait out the bad times on the sidelines.
  5. If the exploiter offers help, it is better to smile and refuse.

How to interpret a symbol for fortune telling

  • Political activity is associated with failure. True, failures can be random, and obstacles can be temporary. Social advancement is impossible due to weakness and insufficient willpower. Things are in no hurry to be resolved.
  • In business, you should pay attention to negotiations, as the I Ching advises. The Book of Changes interpretation of this area reduces to minor failures determined by karma. No need to start big projects. It is better to build relationships with competitors.
  • The love sphere is in the stage of inhibition. Partners have no understanding. There is a possibility of a complete end to the relationship. The same situation applies to communication with relatives and colleagues. you need to reconsider your position, show more diplomacy and tact.
  • There is an imbalance in health. There is a high probability of sexually transmitted and infectious diseases.

Hexagram 12 advises hiding and adapting to the general mood of the situation. Its interpretation is not too alarming, since any failures end, and sometimes life experience can be learned from them.

Pay attention to the location of the Earth and Sky trigrams. It would seem that in this hexagram they are located correctly: Heaven is above, and Earth is below. Why, then, is it called “Decline, Failure”? The fact is that Earth and Heaven are moving away from each other in the endless striving of the first down and the second up; there is no unity of the two opposites, which was described at the beginning of the book, which means there is no Peace, and the creation of “10,000 things in the Celestial Empire” is impossible. .

This hexagram warns of a strict vow of silence and modesty. You cannot show off your intelligence, talents, or material wealth. There are many envious people nearby, cunning people who, through flattery, try to find out your secrets from you and even destroy you, trampling on your authority and taking away your post or position. You cannot react to “weakness” with actions and changes in business, or risk money.

This tension will persist even if the situation stabilizes. Try not to interfere in conflicts, do not become like “low people.” The truth will definitely be on your side. You will still laugh at what happened, but for now, endure and preserve the nobility of your soul.

In business, profit predictions are given, but do not strive to get into the unfamiliar environment of the “chosen ones”. Not everything is good with morality in it; they will not accept you as one of their own, they will laugh at you and insult you. Perhaps they are simply jealous of you, not being able to work like you, or not having your other positive qualities. Do what you love and accumulate property. Victory will be yours.

The hexagram describes in stages the test of your ability to be impenetrable emotionally, to be resistant to various kinds of temptations of vain existence. It is difficult, but it is a necessary experience for a mature person: to be patient, polite, courteous to harsh laws and all sorts of fools. Learn to keep your distance and “call everyone by “you”. It is you who will turn out to be a stronger and wiser person than your opponents.

Personal relationships bring disappointments. If new people and feelings come into your life, do not rush to trust them, especially if the compliments are too sweet, and the eyes are cold and angry. Be silent and restrained, you will see how envious and cunning people will reveal themselves in their true light. You will determine the dishonesty of the intentions of “admirers” or “friends”.

Worthy people of decline are not conducive to perseverance. Fortitude is not favorable to a noble man. The great goes away, the small comes.

1. (When) a reed is torn, (other) stems (stretch behind it), since it (grows) in a bunch. - Fortitude is fortunate. Development.
2. Cover those adjacent (to you). - Happiness for insignificant people. A great man's decline. (And further) development (of this).
3. (You will be) overcome with shame.
4. There will be a command from above - there will be no blasphemy. - A blessing (of heaven) will appear in everyone who is with you.
5. Stop the decline. — A great man is happy. Let it perish, let it perish (decline)! (And strengthen this, for sure) tie it to a wildly growing mulberry.
6. Overthrow of decadence. - First decline, (and) then fun.

________________________________________________

Perhaps in no other pair of hexagrams is their opposition as noticeable as in this hexagram and the previous one. This was always felt so much that the names of these gkesagrams created an idiomatic expression in the Chinese language corresponding to ours “like heaven and earth,” i.e. "completely dissimilar." This expression is already attested in the poem “On the Wife of Chiao Chung-ching,” the largest Chinese epic that emerged at the turn of the 2nd and 3rd centuries. There is a complete lack of connection between them. The sky (the trigram “creativity”) is at the top and strives higher; the earth (the “fulfillment” trigram) is below here and cannot rise up. There is no interaction between them. Light - the great - leaves here, and darkness - the small - comes: the picture is the opposite of the previous one. If there we were talking about spring, then here it can only be about autumn. This, of course, does not mean that all activity is suspended here. On the contrary, some forces may be very active here, but these are forces of a lower order. The aphorism of this hexagram reflects only its essential of the above thoughts, but they find their confirmation both in the aphorisms of individual features and in the general system. The aphorism of this hexagram is as follows: Worthless people of decline do not favor the steadfastness of a noble person. The great is passing away; little comes.
1
Here the process of decline is only at the very beginning. We can easily overcome it. Individual isolation does not yet make itself felt, and joint activity of like-minded people is possible. It is this kind of collectivity that can save the situation here. All that is needed is its persistent preservation. Then development is still possible, because through joint efforts it is still possible to understand the harm of “almost truth” and stop it in time, immediately striving for what is completely true. In the text it is expressed as follows: At the beginning there is a weak line. When a reed is torn, [others] follow it, since it grows in a bunch. Fortitude is fortunate. Development.
2
This situation is a situation of decline. But the text is not only a description; it gives advice on how to overcome the decline. But for such a great person, leading lesser ones, the situation still remains a situation of decline. However, they only serve as impulses to overcome them for someone who rightfully can, called a seeker of truth, i.e. a person living a cognitive life. The text puts it this way: Weakness comes second. Embrace those adjacent to you. Happiness for insignificant people. For a great man, development is in decline.
3
The crisis, which is always an extremely difficult situation in a situation of decline, becomes especially acute. In the gradual intensification of decline, it is the third position that represents its greatest depth, for the positions following it already express a certain liberation from decline. In the symbolism of the Book, this is expressed by the fact that they are occupied with the trigram “creativity”, full of activity to overcome decline. Here is the maximum development of the forces of Darkness. In knowledge, they lead a person to accept the semblance of truth as the truth itself. Nothing here can change the situation; no active intervention by the person himself is possible. When realizing this situation, a person will be overcome by a feeling of shame, and it can completely confuse him. And his activity can only be aimed at courageously enduring this feeling. This is the most important thing, and the “Book of Changes” indicates here in an extremely laconic formula only this side of the process: The weak point is in third place. You will be full of shame.
4
Saving the situation on your own is also unattainable here. Only as a mercy can help be given from one who occupies the next, more favorable position. This is possible because the period covered by the characteristic of the “fulfillment” trigram has already passed and another period is beginning, characterized by the “creativity” trigram. It also symbolizes the sky, which was thought of in ancient China as the inspiration of fate. According to these views (reflected in the language itself), the will of heaven and fate coincide. Entering the period of this trigram “creativity” means “the presence of heaven”, thanks to which the situation improves and the situation becomes impeccable. I also support this in the fact that all the forces of Light here act together, as united into one trigram. The text puts it in these words: The strong trait is in fourth place. There will be a command from above, and there will be no blasphemy. All who are with you will come to the blessing [of heaven].
5
The maximum development of the forces of creativity, which occurs in this position, makes it possible, despite the general situation of decline, to demonstrate such activity, thanks to which the process of decline can be stopped. But this does not happen automatically, by itself, but requires the energetic and vigilant intervention of the person himself. This energy is expressed in the fact that this is the fifth (active) position and that it is occupied by the light (active) feature, the middle (culminating) one in the “creativity” trigram. Such a force here, in accordance with the norm, takes the position of a great man and has the correct correspondence - resonance in the second weak, pliable feature. Therefore, the aphorism expresses the happiness that awaits such a great person who is able to stop the process of decline. However, this situation is not yet such that successful inactivity is permissible. The decline is still present, and we must continually ensure that this beginning of the elimination of the decline does not perish. It should be strongly strengthened - as if tied to a wildly growing mulberry that cannot be uprooted. Thus, knowledge, gradually clearing itself of the dominance of illusions, must be vigilantly strengthened in order to avoid a state of decline. In the text, this is expressed in verse (for the sake of accuracy of content, we translate it into prose): A strong trait is in fifth place. Stop the decline. A great man is happy. It would not have perished, it would not have perished! Strengthen [it] with the wildly growing mulberry tree.
6
At this last position the situation of decline ends. All previous activities were aimed at eliminating it. That is why the moment comes when the process of decline must not only be suspended, as at the previous stage, but also overthrown. However, even here he makes himself felt with all his inherent features, with his substitution of “almost truth” for truth, etc., so that at first this position is also characterized by decline. But this is only the beginning. After this comes the joy of overcoming decline. This joy leads to the next situation, characterized by the collectivity of work. Thus, the end of the process of decline is expressed in the following words: There is a strong line at the top. Overthrown decline. First decline, and then joy.
