Ff 7 complete walkthrough secrets. Guide and walkthrough for "Final Fantasy VII"

Space. Stars. Exposed wires...

Not necessarily in that order, but it's what the developers at Square Enix have been pushing for for 16 years. After all, why redraw the videos, and even in HD quality, when Iris’s face, located above the sparkling electrical wires, still brings awe and horror to 95% of the game’s target audience?! The girl, having abandoned suicide by applying the method of placing her head on a surface along which electric discharges run, decides to carry out her insidious and cruel plan on the street.

FinalFantasyVII: Steam– 100% Passage

Chapter 1 Midgar Rebels

The place is quite suitable: as fate would have it, you can look into the goblin bar, the aroma of which emanates a couple of miles down Walker Street; go to the play “The Unloved”, where you will perform a mind-blowing action on stage during intermission; or, as a last resort, throw yourself under the Zaporozhets, in the hope that the metal structure will not fall apart when colliding with elastic pom-poms of size 3, no less. The local chemical plant consistently and daily emits into the atmosphere a volume of harmful gases equal to 15 MAC, and therefore Iris has a large choice. With such a variety of infections, it is unlikely that we will live to see the fall of the meteor, which is depicted on the game logo. By the way, the last novel the lady read was L.N. Tolstoy’s “Anna Karenina”... Well, that’s also an option, and Iris directs her steps towards the railway station. At this moment, she did not know how her life would change.

At this time, a train arrives at another railway station. The customs declaration indicates: coal, oil and a couple of wagons with elixirs. Imagine the surprise of the Midgar customs officers when, instead of elixirs, they found a group of hostile rebels from the Avalanche squad led by the black Barrett! When the guards are finished, another Persian will get out of the carriage, calling the ex-soldier, and stealthily step onto the platform...

... A little history ...

The wonderful toy Final Fantasy VII has tried to leave its mark on many modern gaming platforms, starting with the 5th generation. In addition, Square Enix also decided to immortalize the game with a release on Steam, where they are asking a fabulous amount for the 1997 game. It's good that sometimes there are discounts there. However, we are not talking about money. If you've already beaten this game, you probably won't learn anything new other than the fact that it's a 100% completion. However, sometimes you really want to plunge into this extravaganza again, a whirlwind of emotions and impressions.

The main innovation in the game is achievements that are available for earning on Steam. Actually, during the walkthrough we will have time to talk not only about them, but also about all the side quests, events, events that will attract the attention of our heroes and allow them to prove themselves and earn rewards (items, limits and equipment).

Important (!) : Before starting the game, be sure to enable Cloud Saving in the settings if you purchased this game officially. You will also need a profile on the square-enix website, to which you can connect the purchased game and track the progress of completing the game, collecting trophies, and activate the Character Boost cheat, which allows you to purchase something useful from the very beginning of the game. We'll talk about it later, since it is perhaps the only real opportunity to get the most problematic trophy in the game.

NorthMakoReactor

This game will have you rummaging through motionless bodies (don't worry, they're all alive, just pretending) more often than any other Final Fantasy, so the first thing you do when you step onto solid ground is check the body of the fallen guard twice. Help me out for this 2 Potion.

Note : The trick is that it doesn't matter which of the two guards at the station you examine. In any case, you will not gain more than 2 cumulative damages from lying bodies.

Follow Barret around the next corner and a fight will ensue before you can turn the corner yourself. The controls are standard; you only need regular attacks to shred incompetent opponents. After the battle, you earn EXP to level up, AP (useful for leveling up magic) and Gil in-game currency. Now run forward.

[ Trophy 01 ]

We have just won our first battle, and therefore we are acquiring a trophy Won 1 stBattle. There are a total of 36 trophies in the game, and we will definitely try to collect them all.

Note : Press the Select button (or another one that is assigned on the keyboard instead). This will allow you to see all the exits/entrances to the location, as they will be highlighted with red triangles, as well as stairs, ropes, etc. will light up with green figures.

Here Jesse plants a bomb on the gate, which will help us get into the center of the reactor to complete a task still unknown to us. In general, Jesse is quite skeptical of us, since we were soldiers and cannot be trusted. How the soldiers deserved such distrust of their own persons is also unclear. Maybe it will become known in the future. Actually, without thinking twice, call your character something, so that they don’t constantly poke us about our past service. Now we are with the terrorist organization Avalanche. Barrett appears, having already cleared the surrounding areas. We are still digging around at the gate, unable to break the lock on the way to the northern Mako reactor. When the gates do open, another short CG sequence will follow about entering the reactor. Be sure to call Barrett sometime too, so that he gets some motivation.

Note : From now on, battles will become a regular thing. I advise you not to escape from them if you prefer to level up your Persians and collect items.

Move around the next pile of junk and exit through the door in the northwest corner. The bridge leads directly to the heart of the reactor. Wedge will remain behind to guard the emergency exit. Once inside, approach Barrett. He will say that they are engaged in a sacred mission that will put an end to the Shinra corporation, which is pumping Mako's life energy out of the planet. However, Cloud (this is our real name) is not interested in Details. Money, as they say, has no smell. Barret will join Cloud (send him to the back row via the Order option on the menu screen, as he has a cannon that from the back row can deal damage similar to what it would have if he were in the front row, and the guy will take less damage ).

Grind with your comrades to unlock 2 more doors and pick them up in the southern part of this room PhoenixDown from the chest. We go into the elevator and, at Jesse’s request, press the button for the lower floor. During the descent, Barrett will again try to convince Cloud about the withering of the planet, but this does not concern us at all.

Note: If by this point in the game enemies attacked Cloud a sufficient number of times, then he should have reached the limit (these are powerful techniques against one or more opponents, exclusive to each character). Specifically, now Cloud and Barrett have only the first level of the limit open. Other levels will open if you use already open limits as often as possible.

[ Trophy 02 ]

By applying your first limit you will receive a trophy Braver. Similar actions are necessary for all other characters.

After leaving the elevator, go down the stairs and go through the door. After jumping over the gap, look at Jesse and repeat his movements. When he stops, check the vial on the floor of the metal structure to get another Potion. Then down again to the next screen and so on until the save point (they look like green pyramids with rotating question marks). Be sure to save on 2 different saves, since the presence of such items often means a meeting with a serious boss.

Important (!) : Having made a save, leave the game in any convenient way, then enter your online profile through the game launch menu. Below the information about the last batch you used, there will be an option CharacterBoost. Press the button to activate this mode, and you will receive 49999999 Gil and maximum HP and MP for all characters in the save to the account of the save where Character Boost was activated. This is, of course, a mega cheat, but it makes it much easier to get the trophy, for which you need to get 99999999 Gil!

Note : It is best to use this cheat when you have only 1 character in the save game, so as not to simplify the game too much.

From the save, go southeast and pick up the matter Restore. This is a healing magic, but it cannot be equipped at the moment. Approach the reactor at the end of the path, and Barrett will decide to leave all the dirty work of planting the bomb on us, so that if anything happens, we will also be put on trial. Suddenly, a voice will sound in Cloud's head, warning of approaching danger. No wonder there was a safe outside! And that’s true, as soon as Cloud sets the bomb, a reactor guard will immediately appear.

Boss: Guard Scorpion

HP: 800

MR: 0

EXP: 100

AR: 10

Gil: 100

Drop: Assault Gun

The first boss of the game is presented in the form of a giant mechanical scorpion. He can be scary if you don't know about his weakness. You need to know that all mechanical enemies in the game are afraid of lightning magic, so the most effective against the boss will not be Cloud’s physical attacks, but Lightning magic (about 100 HP damage). Barrett can only attack from the back row and take the limit if the opportunity arises. During the battle, the scorpion will go into protective mode. You will immediately know when this happens because the enemy will raise his tail. At this moment, do not attack him if you do not want to receive a counterattack to the cabbage soup. Before attacking, the boss scans his next target, so you can predict his actions. Usually his attacks do not take away more than 40 HP from characters, but an attack with his tail can remove 60-75 HP from both. That's all.

After the battle, equip the Assault Gun, received for defeating the boss, on Barret and wash your hands of it, otherwise you will die in an explosion along with the reactor. You have no more than 10 minutes before a bomb hits the place, wiping it off the face of the earth, with most of the time being hampered by random battles. Actually, you need to return to the elevator and along the way be sure to free Jesse’s stuck leg so that the guy returns safe and sound with you. If this is not done, the mission will fail. Your characters will not let you out of this sector. In fact, 4 minutes is enough.

Note : If you feel like you don't have enough time, run away from battles by holding down the Shift keys on the joystick at the same time if you're playing on a PSX console.

MidgarSector1

After watching a colorful CG video about a large-scale explosion of 1/8 of the power of the Shin-Ra corporation (the most terrible guys who are pumping out all the resources from the planet), we come to our senses in a pile of rubble. Another explosion (this time a very small one) will pave the way for us to freedom. The team is demoralized, but it is necessary to reach the rendezvous point, where a settlement will be made with Cloud in monetary terms.

Exit to the square to the west of you and you will come across a flower girl selling grass. The explosion of the reactor led to general panic, and therefore no one pays attention to the beautiful girl. The conversation will begin by itself, and now she will show you her entrepreneurial spirit. Don’t offend the girl buy a bouquet of flowers at a super promotion for only 1 gil (choose the first answer all the time). After the deal, the lady will immediately disappear... Well, so be it.

Go south and you will find yourself in a square with a clock. Examine the blue vessel to get some money Potion, after which all you have to do is go into the southern alley, where a couple of soldiers will stop you. You can fight them (you will have to fight repeatedly), with the final attack coming from both sides. Please note that when you are attacked from behind, the rows in which the opponents are located change places, and they can take more damage. The skirmishes will continue until we are surrounded, and Cloud will have to jump onto the train rushing under the bridge in a small CG insert...

Train

Oddly enough, the remaining team members are here. The metro should take us to the rebel base, but first we will have to listen to the touching speech of our comrades, who mourn our person clearly prematurely. Cloud's sudden appearance livened up the action a bit. Barrett didn’t think that we would give up our reward so easily! Jessie, Wedge and the others will go their separate ways. You need to follow their example and get out into the next car. As the dispatcher says, the train is heading non-stop to the seventh sector of Midgar. This suits us.

[ Dating 01 ]

There is a specific quest in the game that is dedicated to an event that occurs at the end of the first disc of the game. This is a date that Cloud will go on with one of the 4 candidates at the Golden Saucer (amusement park). The actual candidates are: Iris, Tifa, Yuffie and Barret. I'm getting ahead of myself a little, but by making choices during the game, you influence the choice of a candidate for a date.

The default values are as follows:

Iris 50 points;

Tifa 30 points;

Yuffie 10 points;

Barrett 0 points.

These points tell us that Iris has the best chance (and she’s right, after all, she dies after adventures in the first half of the game) to take the vacant seat in the booth opposite Cloud. However, the game can be so perverted that only Barrett will agree to go on a date with you. If you really want to see THIS with your own eyes, I will tell you how.

If you try to talk to Jesse, he will ask a question. Possible answers:

Thanks anyway (no penalty or bonus points for anyone);

Looking forward to it (- 3 points for Tifa).

That is, if you choose the second answer option, then the chances of going on a date with Tifa will become less by 3 points: 30 3 = 27 points. In general, of course, it’s strange how Tifa found out about this answer if we hadn’t even met her by this point in the game. When answering the questions, decide for yourself who you want to see with Cloud.

Talk to Jesse again, he will tell you that each of the sectors of Midgar used to represent a separate city, but the names were forgotten and, ultimately, all the cities were simply assigned serial numbers, calling them sectors. The route of our train will be shown immediately, going around the central sector, which, in turn, goes 50 meters in height (strange, because the tallest building in Midgar belongs to the Shin-Ra corporation and there are about 70 floors... so this, well, less than 1 meter per floor?).

Chat with your comrades again, after which Barrett will talk to you himself. It turns out that Midgar is covered with a kind of dome-barrier that protects the city from penetration from outside. For this reason, the inhabitants of Midgar have not seen either the light of the sun or the stars in the night sky for a long time. Poverty does not allow them to get out into the outside world. In addition, they are drawn to their native land by love, no matter how much Shin-Ra polluted this land. Environmental problems are truly global and large-scale, and therefore not only Midgar, but the entire planet will suffer.

Sector 7 Slums

Yes... not bright prospects. It is unlikely that most of the residents live in the slums because they like it there... Nevertheless, the last midnight express in the CG movie delivers our protagonists to their destination. Have you wondered where Final Fantasy XIII has such great scenes with an attack on a train? The developers trained their skills back in Final Fantasy VII. The first train leaves only at 05:04 in the morning, so the conductor will block the car door and prevent us from getting inside.

There are several exits from the station, but Barrett will not let you use any until you find out that people are gathering at the local Avalanche squad shelter. When everyone has run away, you should go to the left to get on the rails of the plot, or to the right to the train cemetery (storage park), where all the trains that have served their service life are written off. There are no items there, but you can fight new opponents to level up a little and earn some money, which will be useful in the first game store. We will return to the train cemetery a little later from the other side.

Now we follow into the slums. To the north of you there will be a shipping point, and to the south there will be guards who are training in knocking down the arrogance of the locals. Examine the tower that attracts the attention of a local resident and save. Go to the main part of the city, which is located to the west of you.

Note : Since Cloud is left alone, it makes sense to use Character Boost on him right now if you don’t want to wait for a character to join that you won’t use as often as Cloud. Let me remind you once again that parameters such as physical strength, speed, magic, defense, agility and luck will not increase after this. Only HP, MP and the total number of gil will increase! However, if Cloud's HP only increased to the level of 9600 HP, then this is only because the matter installed in his armor reduces the HP characteristics.

Rumors of a Mako reactor explosion are already in the local air. The building in the southernmost part of the slum claims to be a shop, but not a department store. The assortment is limited, but you can find some interesting things here. Be sure to buy the Iron Bangle if you want to collect all the equipment in the game. This is the only place where it is sold, and once you leave here, you will never return. There is a hotel on the 3rd floor of the store. You should not stay here; anyway, you will be allowed to rest at the gathering place.

Once inside the Seventh Paradise tavern (apparently, the name is associated with the Midgar sector in which we are located), Cloud will not be deprived of female attention. Marlene's poor eyesight allowed her to confuse Cloud with Barret, and the beautiful Tifa will become even better a member of our squad... I would even say, a member with large breasts... Before you manage to decipher the last phrase, the girl notices the flowers Cloud bought from the flower girl (you did you buy them?).

[Dating 02]

Give it to Tifa (+ 5 points for Tifa);

Give it to Marlene (+ 5 points to Barrett).

Decide who you will give the flowers to, and then try to leave the bar (you can talk to everyone before doing this). Barrett will fly into the room shouting “The husband is back!” and sits Marlene on his shoulders. There is a secret hatch under the slot machine, where secret gatherings of the rebels take place. Tifa will be left out of favor and will go behind the bar counter. This is where you can talk to her again.

[Dating 03]

I don't feel like it (no changes);

Give me something hard (+ 5 points to Tifa).

Having gotten Cloud drunk, Tifa clearly expected the rest of the evening to be different, but Cloud is only interested in the money that Barret owes him for the mission. Go down and approach Barrett. Cloud is sure that this time we were lucky, since we did not encounter an elite squad of soldiers from the Shin-Ra corporation. Otherwise, the detachment would already be in the next world. This will understandably infuriate Barrett, and his comrades will barely be able to calm him down. It's sad that all this is happening in front of his daughter...

We rise up again, and here Tifa will try to influence the young, stupid guy. The request is simple: join Avalanche on a permanent basis. The planet is dying, after all! Will he really refuse to help his childhood friend?!

[ Dating 04 ]

How can you say that! (+ 5 points to Tifa);

Sorry... (no changes).

Having made a choice, Tifa will remind the hero of the promise he made many years ago, when they were still children. Cloud promised to come and save Tifa when she needed the help of a famous hero. After completing the scene from the past of Tifa and Cloud, we will return to real time, where Barret has already prepared for the young guy 1500 gil for service to the mission. However, this is funny money. For the next mission (explosion of the reactor in the 5th sector) we will demand 3000 gil, but the brutal man will only agree to 2000 coins. In general, he takes all this money from the stash left for Marlene’s schooling. In general, if a girl has gaps in her knowledge because of this, then it’s all Barrett’s fault.

In the morning you will discover that Cloud is a real sleepyhead. Everyone has already risen. Be sure to talk to Tifa and answer the question about how you slept before you returned to the plot rails.

[Dating 05]

Barret's snoring kept me up (+ 5 points to Barret);

Next to you, who wouldn't? (+ 5 points to Tifa).

This time, Tifa will join your small squad, and Barret will ask Cloud to teach him how to use matter. Watch the tutorial and you will understand that matter in FF7 is magic crystals that are inserted into weapon and armor slots. It is matter that allows characters to use the magic of the corresponding element. All magic in the game is divided into several types (command, supporting, summoning, etc.). Matter, in turn, increases its level when you gain a certain number of AP points, which are issued for each battle. This happens until all spells have been learned on the matter, that is, until it reaches the master level. After this, a new piece of this matter will be born, which you can pump again if you wish. Also, materia has a minor effect on character stats (strength, agility, HP, etc.) when you equip it to heroes.

Important (!) : You can speed up the pumping of matter if you get weapons or armor with slots that increase the AP earned after a battle by 2 or even 3 times! Be careful. Some pieces of equipment do not allow you to gain AP from the matter installed in them!

After this, Tifa will tell you that we should look into the weapons store (I completely agree with her). Interesting things await us there. Firstly, you should buy for Tifa what she is missing. Secondly, training is now held on the 2nd floor, and the trainer will tell you how to behave in battles in the world of Final Fantasy VII if you are playing through the game for the first time. I recommend reading everything thoroughly. Then pick up the matter All from the guy on the right, after which he will throw off the chest with Ether.

Important (!) : Sometimes you come across equipment with slots combined in two. Most often, this is needed to install All materia in one such slot, and some kind of attack magic (Fire / Ice) or healing magic (Restore) in another. Then the effect of the spell will spread to all monsters or allies. By the way, level 3 magic, when combined with All materia (Ice 3 / Fire 3), during battle looks more grandiose than if you used it against one enemy.

There is another store to the west. Items and magic are sold here. You obviously don't have Fire magic, so buy some. However, another Lightning and Restore magic wouldn’t hurt either. What items you need - see for yourself. I usually never use them. Equip all the goods on the Persians and go to the railway station. Don't forget to save. At the train you will notice that the guys have been waiting for us. They run into the train, and it starts moving, taking us along the rails of history.

… To be continued …

At the beginning of the game you have three Potion, Phoenix Down and E at your disposal ther. You also won't be able to equip materia until you reach Avalanche Base.

After the train stops, examine the nearby soldier's body and pick up two Potions. Then move north. You are attacked by two soldiers. Deal with them with your sword (you can get Potion for victory) and turn into the left passage. Talk to your companions here (Biggs, Wedge and Jessie) and introduce yourself (Cloud). Then follow Barret to the northwest door and you'll soon enter the power plant.

Talk to Barrett (he will join you), and then with the rest of the Avalanche. The result of this conversation will be the opening of locked doors. After opening the second door, turn right and take Phoenix Down from the chest. Then go back to the main passage, go into the elevator (you must talk to Jessie first) and press the button.

You are on the lower level. Follow Jessie down the stairs. When it stops, look nearby for Potion (it's hard to see because of the steam). Then go down the nearby stairs and save at the Save Point.

Now you have 10 minutes to leave the factory. Return the same way you came. On the way back, save and help Jessie free her leg, otherwise Biggs won't let you out to the surface. Having reached the doors, talk to the team and run out of the reactor, which has already begun to explode...

Midgar

Now you are outside the destroyed reactor. Join the rebel team and talk to Barrett. Then run up the stairs. In the square you will meet Iris, from whom you can buy a flower.

Head south (don't forget to pick up a Potion along the way near the fountain) and you'll soon reach the town square. Here you will have several fights with soldiers of the Shinra corporation, after which Cloud will dashingly jump onto the roof of a passing train and run into the Avalanche team.

Talk to everyone and head to the next carriage, wait for the train to arrive (you can talk to Jessie, who will show the plan of Midgar and explain its structure).

Avalanche Base

Talk to Barrett and follow the others towards the city. Go left to the Seventh Heaven bar. Here you will meet Tifa and Marlene (Barret's daughter). You can give any of them a previously purchased flower. Talk to Tifa. Go down the secret elevator and ask Barrett about his salary. Go back upstairs and get 1500 Gil.

After you've rested, go upstairs and talk to Tifa and Barret. Before you leave, teach Barrett how to use matter (it wouldn’t hurt to listen to it yourself, too). For this he will give you Restore materia. After leaving the building, go south to two shops. The one on the left sells material, and the one on the right sells weapons. Next to the gun store there is Beginners Hall. All matter is lying there, and Ether is in the chest. Now you can head to the train, not forgetting to look at the Save Point along the way.

Mako Reactor #5

Talk to Tifa. A siren will sound. Run to the next carriage. Talk to the old man there and he will give you Phoenix Down. In the third car, talk to the guy next to you, get Hi-Potion. Remember that you have 10 seconds for each train car.

When you reach the last carriage, talk to Tifa again to escape this inhospitable train.

You will find yourself in a railway tunnel. Go south. There, at the guarded exit, you can upgrade your team a little (use Lighting in conjunction with All - everyone will die with one Bolt). Once you've leveled up, turn back and head north until you reach the light sensors. Here, go down the hatch on the left (pick up Ether) and, having reached the next ladder, go down again.

Go left and up the next stairs. Pick up the Potion and go down the left stairs again to reach a room where you can loot a Tent and restore MP and HP at the Save Point.

Climb the stairs guarded by Biggs and you will find yourself in the reactor. Do you remember the place? After going down the pipes, go to the reactor and plant the bomb. Now return to the elevator and go to the top floor. Take the Ether in the chest and go left to the control panel. Here you need to press the button at the same time as Barret and Tifa (use the circle).

Once on the T-shaped bridge, you will be ambushed and meet with the president of Shinra. After the conversation, the president will fly away, and you will have to fight the boss.

City Slums

You are in church. Meet Iris. She asks you to be her bodyguard. You agree. Reno will come in with three soldiers, talk to him and then return to Iris. On the other screen, run up the stairs until Iris falls down towards the soldiers. Now you have a choice of three options: “Fight”, “Run” and “Hold on a minute”.

You can choose the first option, and then Iris will fight with the soldiers, or you can choose the third option, and then you will have to throw three of the four barrels onto the soldiers (first push the far left, then the far central and finally the right barrel, do not touch the central barrel closest to the screen at all). After this, get out onto the roof of the church and go down to the Save Point.

Go northwest to the town. Enter the house in the southeast. On the left wall hangs the Turtles Paradise Flyer No. 1. The guy on the bed talks in his sleep - if you talk to him, hear about the hiding place and examine the chest of drawers, you will find the pitiful savings of the owner of the house, 5 Gil. Leave them in the cache - if you don't take them, then when you return to the same location you will receive Turbo Ether.

Now it's time to go to Iris's house, located in the upper part of the city. Near the house in the garden, take Cover materia and Ether. In the house, talk to Iris's mother and go to bed. When you wake up at night, take Potion and Phoenix Down from the room. Go downstairs slowly so as not to wake up Iris.

Leave the city and go left to the crack in the wall. Iris will already be waiting for you there. On the next screen, go up and after a while you will reach the playground. Iris will leave you here, and you should head further east and then north to reach the Wall Market.

Market Beyond the Wall

Iris will join you again. There is a Save Point in the upper right part of the market. The building below on the left is a hotel where you can relax for 10 Gil. To the right of it is the entrance to the local brothel. There is nothing interesting in the central building. Above it is a pharmacy. North of the pharmacy is a bar. And finally, at the top left is a studio, and at the top right is a kitchenware store. The path near the studio leads to another part of the city. There is a gym, restaurant and weapons store. To the north is a large building - the Corneo mansion.

Your goal here is to get into Corneo's mansion, where Tifa is located. To do this, Cloud will have to dress up as a woman, otherwise you will simply not be allowed into the house.

1) Go to the brothel and talk to the guy who is chatting with the bouncer at the door. When talking to him, select the first option to ask about Tifa.

2) Go to the building at the end of town (Corneo's mansion) and talk to the guy near the door. Iris will suggest that Cloud dress in women's clothing to infiltrate the mansion.

3) Return to the first screen and go to the studio to talk to the saleswoman.

4) Now go to the bar on the second screen and talk to the lone man at the door. When talking to him, select "soft and shimmers". After the conversation, return to the studio.

5) The man from the hotel is already standing at the counter. Talk to him and he will give you the Silk Dress. Now you already have a dress, now it would be nice to get a wig.

Go to the gym. Chat with the trainer as he watches the two hunks in the ring. To get a wig you need to win a squat competition. You need to alternately press "square", "X" and "O" and you will win (you will receive the Blonde Wig). Now you can go to the studio and change clothes. But if you want to please Don Corneo even more, then let's continue.

6) Go to a kitchenware store. There is a guy there in a conversation with whom you select the top answer twice (you will not be able to talk to him if you chatted with the guards at the building in the north). Now go to the hotel and pay 10 Gil per night. At night, buy the item he wanted from the vending machine for 200 Gil. The next morning, return to the glassware store and talk to the guy to get a Diamond Teary.

7) Go to the bar. Sit in an empty seat and order "Today's Special" and then answer "it was all right", get a Pharmacy Coupon. Now go to the pharmacy and exchange the coupon for Digestive. Go to the restaurant and go to the toilet. There is a girl there who will exchange to you Digestive on Sexy Cologne.

8) Talk to the man in the white shirt who is standing near the Honey Bee Inn on the first screen to get a Members Card (he won't give it to you unless you talk to the guard at the door of Corneo's mansion).

Come to the Honey Bee Inn. Go to the top left door and select the top option twice. Inside, talk to Ghost Cloud near the stone. Recover all HP and MP. Talk to Mickey and select the middle item in the conversation. Then talk to the girl and she will give you a Lingerie.

Change clothes at the studio and go to Corneo's mansion. Talk to the butler at the counter and go up the stairs to the second floor. Go into the passage on the left. You will be taken to a dungeon where you will meet Tifa and find Ether. When called, go to the central door.

Inside, Don Corneo will feel "each" of you and choose... Cloud! (if you did everything exactly as written above).

You will find yourself in Corneo's room. Under the bed, pick up the Hyper and then talk to him. Your friends will burst in and threaten him. Corneo will ask you a question. Choose any option. Regardless of the answer, you will fall into the sewer through a hidden hatch in the floor.

Collectors

You landed in the sewer. Talk to Tifa or Iris, and then go up the stairs and follow the passage forward, not forgetting to pick up Potion along the way. This is where the boss will meet you...

After the fight, move up the stairs to the right corner of the screen. Grab the Steal materia and jump into the hatch.

Here, go down the stairs and then up the rubble. On the next screen, go up the stairs and you will find yourself in a train graveyard. There is a Save Point nearby. In the carriage nearby, take the Hi-Potion. Another Hi-Potion is on the roof of the adjacent carriage. Then jump north onto the carriage behind the Echo Screen. Go east, then south, and enter the nearby carriage to pick up a Potion. Climb the stairs, go north and go down again. Go north again through the carriage, exit to the left and you will find Potion. Then go north and enter the next screen. In this area, you can steal the "Striking Staff" from the enemy Eligor (doubles Iris' attack power).

Go around the train and take the Potion. Now go left, inside the fuel tank, behind Ether.
Go north and enter the train on the right. Move the carriage standing across the track. Climb onto the roof of this carriage for the Hi-Potion. Then do the same manipulations with the second car. The path is clear. Climb onto the roof of the car and move to the platform.

Boss: RENO
LV: 17
HP: 1000
MP: 0
Weakness: No

Reno can "pack" any character into a pyramid, cutting him out of the fight. In this case, simply attack her with another character and the spell will disappear.
For magic, use Fire, Ice and Lighting. Also remember to use your limits. It’s a good idea to use Spider Web at the very beginning of the fight, which will slow down Reno by half. After the battle you will receive Ether.

To the sky

After your fight with Reno, Tseng will kidnap Iris. But there is no time to save her, since the support is about to explode. You find yourself on the playground. After talking with your comrades, go a little lower, and when Tifa and Barret appear, go back for Sense matter. You can go to the Wall Market cookware store. You can now buy material there.

Return to the Slums and go to Iris's house. Talk to her mother Elmyra. Go to Wall Market again, but now to the weapons store and buy three batteries from the man on the left. Now go to the northern part of the market to the wall where the kids are running. Climb up using "Golden shiny ware of hope".

Insert the first battery into the airplane engine and, after the propeller has rotated several times, move further along it. The second battery will be needed to raise the barrier. On the next screen you need to jump onto the swinging beam (use the circle button to jump). Then go up and then go down to use the third battery to get Ether. Now head towards the large pipe that leads to Shinra Headquarters.

Shinra Headquarters

Save at Save Point. There are two ways to get upstairs: either take the stairs, or enter through the front door and take the elevator ("kick some Shinra butt" - as Barrett would say). If you decide to climb the stairs, don’t forget to pick up Elixir on one of the platforms.

No matter which path you choose, you will eventually reach the 59th floor. Go southeast and take out the three guards to get Keycard 60. Get into the elevator and head to the 60th floor.

Here you must lead the entire team from one door to another, disguising them behind statues from the guards.

On the 61st floor, approach the man standing south of the stairs. He will tell you about Iris and give you Keycard 62 if you answer "..." to his question.

On the 62nd floor, go left into the room and talk to Mayor Domino. He will give you Keycard 65 if you guess the password. It is easy to guess by simply searching through the options. If you guess correctly the first time, you will receive Elemental materia.

63rd floor - Storage. Here you need to open three doors to get three items.

So: activate the computer, then go to the top of the screen and open the rightmost door, now go right and open the left door, then right and south and enter the room where you will get A Coupon. Now make your way through the ventilation system to the room with B Coupon. Finally, enter the door, open the door on the left, go north and enter the room where the C Coupon is.

Now go back to the computer. We will exchange coupons:
Coupon A on Star Pendant
Coupon B on Four Slots
Coupon C for All matter.

On the 64th floor you can rest, save in Save Point, and take Phoenix Down, Ether, M-phone (HP Shout) from the boxes. Then we stomp to the 65th floor. Here you need to take 5 parts of the model from different chests and insert them into the city model, which is located in the center of the hall (insert everything counterclockwise).

Top - left room: bottom chest
Top - left room: top chest
Bottom - left room: chest on the left
Bottom - left room: top chest
Top - right room: chest
Middle - Right Room: Get Keycard 66

On the 66th floor, go to the toilet and climb into the ventilation pipes. Crawl forward, eavesdrop on what the Shinra bosses are saying, and head back. Follow Hojo to the 67th floor. Follow him southwest.

Here, in battles with Soldier, you can steal Hardedge (a weapon for Cloud) from them, and in battle with Moth Slashes - Carbon Bangles (armor).

After everyone leaves, go upstairs, pick up the Poison materia and save at the Save Point. Take the elevator on the left to the next floor. There you will see Iris and the red beast (Red XIII), locked in some kind of tank. Free them and talk to Hojo. Leave Tifa to look after Iris, while you stay to fight the boss.

After the battle, pick up the Enemy Skill materia and talk to the man in the gray coat. He will give Keycard 68. Go to the 66th floor and enter the elevator. Rude will come in and take you to the Shinra President, and then you will be taken to the prison on the 67th floor.

Talk to everyone and go to bed. In the morning, when you wake up, you will see that the cell door is open.

Go out and take the keys from the guard. Then go back and talk to Tifa. Free Barrett and Red XIII.

Take the elevator to the next floor. Talk to Red XIII again. Pick up a pair of Potions and go up the stairs to the 69th floor.

Save at Save Point. Now take any of the purple stairs to the President's office. Talk to Palmer and go out the north door. There, talk to Rufus (son of the president). Cloud will remain to sort things out with Rufus, and send the rest down.

While controlling the team consisting of Red XIII, Barret and Iris, go to the nearby elevator. The boss is waiting for you here...

After this, the boss transforms into...

The scene will now switch to Cloud. Equip Cloud with materia and attack Rufus.

Go down to the floor below, where Tifa is already waiting for you. After the conversation, you and your entire team will leave the skyscraper on a motorcycle and truck.

The rescue!

Use the controller to control the motorcycle and the bumps. Hit enemy motorcyclists with a left kick (square) and a right punch (circle) to protect your friends in the truck. Once you reach the dead end, you will have to fight a boss. The amount of HP you and your friends have will depend on how well you fought during the race and how much energy remains after it.

Kalm/Farm Chocobo

Go northeast to the city of Kalm, located near Midgar. Climb the three houses on the left. You will find Ether (2) and Peacemaker (a weapon for the not yet found Vincent). On the next screen, pick up Guard Source.

Now go to the traveler's house in the southeastern part of the city and get Ether there. Of the existing stores in the city, it is worth going only to the item store and purchasing Earth and Heal matter.

Well, now go to the hotel where your friends are waiting for you. Cloud begins to remember his past...

You are in a truck driven by a Shinra soldier. Talk to the soldier and Sephiroth. The truck will soon be stopped by the dragon. We'll have to fight. After this, you will find yourself in Nibelheim, Cloud's hometown. Talk to Sephiroth and the guards and go north. Wander around the city, go door to door, play the piano in Tifa's house (a large building in the southeastern part of the city) and then head to the hotel on the second floor. When talking to Sephiroth, choose the second answer.

In the morning, talk to Sephiroth again, take a photo for memory and go to the city. Go to the bridge and talk to Tifa. After the bridge collapses, talk to her again, and then follow Sephiroth into the cave. Head north and reach Jenova Plant. Inside, chat with Sephiroth and ask him a couple of questions. After this you can save. Now you will find yourself in a mansion on the outskirts of the city. Go up to the second floor and go into the room on the right. Go down the spiral staircase and go to the library to talk to Sephiroth. When you wake up, return to the library. After another conversation with Sephiroth, leave the house. The city is on fire! Go to Jenova Plant. Watch Tifa and Sephiroth fight. Afterwards, talk to Tifa and take her aside. Now move up the stairs to Sephiroth. At this point the memories end and you find yourself back in Kalm...

The heroes will decide to follow Sephiroth's trail and Barrett will give Cloud a PHS (Party Hensei Sistem), which allows him to change the composition of the team on the world map. Leave the city and go east to Chocobo Farm (on the world map, level up your team to at least level 18). Talk to the nearby Chocobo. After his dance, say "Wark" and for this you will receive Choco/Mog materia.

Talk to Choco Billy (the man in the hat) in the camp behind the paddock. In a conversation, choose the 1st answer option, then the 4th and again the 1st. If you have 2000 Gill (and you should!) he will sell you Chocobo Lure materia.

Leave the farm and retrace the Chocobo's footsteps while wearing the Chocobo Lure. If you run into a fight, make sure there is a Chocobo among the attackers. Kill the other enemies but leave the Chocobo alive so you can ride him after the fight. When you're riding a chocobo, no one can attack you.

Drive southwest from the farm and head into the cave through the swamp. In the swamp, a giant snake will attack you. You can easily drive around it and immediately head to Mithril Mine, or you can get involved in a fight.

Mine/Junon

After entering Mythril Mine, go east and you will find Ether on the next screen and Tent in the chest. Now climb up the vine on the western side of the same screen to pick up the Long Range materia. Return to the first screen and go left. Move southeast and you'll find a Mind Source, now head west to the next screen.

Here you will encounter "Turks": Rude, Elena and Tseng. After talking, go north, take Elixir and Hi-Potion. Return to the meeting point with the Turks, climb up the vine and exit to the World Map.

Nearby is a rock with a huge statue of a bird on top. This is Fort Condor. Enter it and choose the second answer when talking to the person inside. Climb the rope and you will find yourself in a small town. There is a Save Point, an item shop, a bedroom and a materia shop. Here you can play a mini-game defending Fort Condor from the attack of the Shinra army, but this game will require some investment. If you beat it now, you will win a weapon for Red XIII - "Magic Comb". In the future, other rewards will be given for the successful defense of Fort Condor.

Go northwest through the forest to Junon Town. In the city, talk to the residents and go down the stairs to the beach. Here the girl Priscilla plays with a dolphin. The boss will appear soon.

After the battle, you will have to revive Priscilla. Then go to the house near the entrance to the city. Stay there for the night.

In the morning, go to the house at the top of the stairs where your friends are gathered in front. Grateful Priscilla will give you Shiva materia. Follow her to the shore, talk, Barrett will come, in a conversation with the girl, choose the middle answer. Your goal now is to get into Junon, which requires the dolphin to throw you to the top of the electrical tower.

Control:

"" - swim
"" - the dolphin throws you into the air.

Experiment for yourself.

Once at the top, go left and a view of the Highwind aircraft will open in front of you. Go south into the building, go into the locker room and change clothes. The soldiers and the captain will come in. Practice your parade performance and go outside.

Join a group of marching soldiers and follow them into the parade. Show off your soldier bearing. You can get for this:

01%-21% - Grenade
22%-39% - Potion (6)
39%-50% - Ether (6)
51%-99% - 5000 Gil

After this you will return to the locker room. There is time to wander around the city. You will encounter Rude in the weapons store, but in his soldier uniform he will not recognize you. Go through the third door and talk to the guards at the back of the room, then drop down to the lower room and pick up the Enemy Skill materia in the corner. On the second floor of the same building you will find 1/35 Soldier and Mind Source. Nearby in the room with cats, take Luck Source. On the third floor are Power Source and Guard Source.

On the next screen in the city, you will again come across Heidegger and Rufus, and you will have to show everything that the captain has been drumming into you for so long.

Depending on your skill, Heidegger will give you:

000-050 - Silver Glasses
060-090 - HP Plus
100-200 - Force Stealer (weapon for Cloud)

After everyone has left, Red XIII will talk to you and you will join your friends on the departing ship.

Shinra Cargo Ship

In the chest, take the Ether and pick up the All Matter next to it. If you already have Yuffie on your team, you can pick up this materia a little later.

Talk to all the crew members and go to the deck, where you will talk to everyone again. Go back down and talk to Iris, then move onto the deck and go left. Talk to Barrett there. The siren will sound.

Now, go to the upper deck and form a battle team. Then go down into the hold and go to the previously locked door. There you will be met by Sephiroth and...

Costa Del Sol / New Continent

After the battle, pick up the red Ifrit materia and wait for the boat to dock. Talk to the people and then go up the stairs. Enter the house with the sign "Costa Del Sol" (you can later buy it for 300,000). Go down to the basement and pick up the Fire Ring, Power Source and Motor Drive (Tifa's weapon). If you go down to the beach, you will meet Hojo (a scientist from Shinra HQ) there. You can chat with him.

Leave the city and go to the mountains across the bridge. Enter the cave. Talk to the man on the hill and continue north. Once you reach the destroyed Mako Power Plant, walk forward along the sleepers. Along the way you will find W-Machinegun, Turbo Ether and Transform materia. The sleepers are broken in some places and you may fall through. When falling, press and . If you land on the left side, you will find Wizard Staff, if on the right - Star Pendant. At the last fork, take the upper path, go into the booth and turn the switch, then go back. If you hear birds singing, you can climb up the rock and take 10 Phoenix Down from the nest, but you will also have to fight the mother of the chicks - Cokatolis. This is not a difficult fight. Also, on the lowest sleepers crossing each other, go along the right side and pick up Power Source, Mind Source and Tent.

Now go to the lowered bridge and cross it to another screen. Eventually you will reach North Corel.

Golden Saucer/Prison

This dirty town is Barrett's hometown. Visit shops, buy some weapons.

Exit through the right exit, leave the mountains and on the plain bring your money to 30,000, and level up to level 24-25. Then return to the city and go to the platform, take the monorail and head to the Golden Saucer.

Buy an eternal pass at the box office for 30,000 Gil. Go to the central hall and jump into the Wonder Square teleporter. Here a new hero will join your party - Cait Sith.

Now go to Battle Square. There had obviously been a massacre here recently, as dead bodies were strewn everywhere. You will be blamed for this outrage and immediately thrown into the Desert Prison at the foot of the Golden Saucer.

Here you will meet Barrett. After talking with him, chat with the rest of the regulars of this place (in the Japanese version of FFVII you would have to fight the Test Zero boss here).

Boss: DYNE
Lv: 2
HP: 1200
MP: 20
Weakness: No

The easiest way to kill him is to let him hit you to raise your limit. Use Restore materia to restore life, and then use the Big Shot limit. You can also call Shiva or Ifrit. For winning you will receive a Silver Armlet.

After Dyne dies, you will find yourself in a truck. Talk to Mr. Cauton and he will invite you to become a Chocobo jockey. In the elevator, choose the top option to listen to the lecture on racing, or the bottom option to skip the lecture. In the room, take the Ramuch materia, and then talk to the girl in pink (Esther) to start the race.

Chocobo Controls:

"" - speed increase
"" - speed reduction
"" - acceleration
"Select" - switches between automatic and manual control.
"+" - by holding these buttons during the race, you gradually restore the acceleration scale.

You can also win with automatic control. In manual mode, hold down "+" during the race to restore the acceleration scale, and "+" to increase the Chocobo's speed.

After winning, you will receive a prize - a buggy car.

Buggy control:

"" - get into the car
"" - get out of the car
"" - Main menu
"Select/Start" - camera rotation
"/" - change the type of review

Drive south across the river and reach Gongaga Village.

Gongaga/Cosmo Canyon

In the town you will meet your old friends - the Turks Reno and Rude.

Go northeast and then north to the destroyed reactor. Scarlet and Tseng will appear, talk about "Huge" matter (learn more about it on Disc 2) and disappear. Explore this area and in the place where Scarlet stood, pick up Titan materia. Then return to the first screen and go left. On the second screen, grab the Deathblow Materia and take the northern path to Gongaga.

In the city, go to the lower right house and talk to its inhabitants. Take X-Potion at the hotel, and White M-phone at the old man's house. Go to the world map.

Go southwest, then to the river and through the mountains into Cosmo Canyon. Your car will break down near the city.

The man at the gate will talk to Red XIII (if he's on your team). Red XIII is called "Nanaki" by locals. After this, talk to the person guarding the stairs and select the second option in the conversation. Don't miss Save Point at Tigerlily Arms Shop. In the Item Shop there is a passage at the back of the room that is blocked off with rope. But if you visit here on disc 2 or 3, then the passage will be free. And Elixir, Magic Source and FullCure matter are hidden there.

Go to the observatory where you will encounter Red XIII and Bugenhagen. Talk to Red XIII and find someone from the team. After this, form a group and return to Bugenhagen. Go upstairs and watch the FMV cutscene.

Go to the large bonfire at the entrance to the city. Your friends are already here. Talk to each of them and contact Red XIII again. Bugenhagen will come and you will form a new group.

Follow Bugenhagen to the closed door above the weapon shop and talk to him. Then select 1 option. He will open the door. Go down the mine and go left.

In the next area to the right and into the passage. In the selection that appears, select the top option and go left. Then go south through the hole and on the right take the Added Effect materia. Go back and along the edge of the path go right, left, down the stairs to a chest with Ether. Return to the stairs and go left, down to a chest with a Black M-phone. Now go back up the stairs and up to the left to leave this area.

There will be 5 passages here. Go to the 4th one on the left. When you touch the web, you will have to fight a giant spider (Stinger).

Follow the northern path to a chest with an X-Potion inside. Go back and take the 2nd passage on the left. Kill the spider and go down. Keep to the right and along an inconspicuous path you will reach another chest with a Fairy Ring. Return to the place where you killed the spider, go north to another web. There is an exit behind it, but on the left there is a hidden passage to a chest with Turbo Ether.

A boss is waiting for you in the next cave.

Pick up the Gravity matter remaining in the place of the defeated monster and follow Bugenhagen out. Watch the cutscene and leave the city.

Return of Sephiroth

Get into the buggy and drive north, then cross the ford to the other side of the river and further to the small town of Nibelheim.

First visit the hotel. Talk to the "men in black" and get Luck Source. You can also get Elixir from the Men in Black in the item shop and a second Luck Source from the house in the southeast.

The house to the east belongs to Tifa. You will be given Platinum Fist and Turbo Ether if you talk to the "men in black".

Now go to the mansion at the end of town. To the left of the entrance is a piece of paper left behind by Shinra workers. It hints at the code to the safe in the house. In the house, go right and see a gap in the stairs. This is the door that leads to the room below. There you will find Silver M-phone.

Go back and enter the door to the north just below the stairs. Into the adjacent room and to the right to the chest with Twin Viper. Go up the stairs and to the left. In the round room, take the Enemy Launcher. There is a safe in the northern room. You can open it: right - 36, left - 10, right - 59, right - 97.

Whether you opened the safe or not, go to the right wing of the estate. If you go up, you'll find a chest containing a Magic Source. Enter the room below and examine the wall. A secret passage will open. Downstairs you can open the door if you received the golden key to the safe. Go to the library, talk to Sephiroth, and pick up the Destruct materia he dropped.

Exit the mansion and leave the city through the northern exit. Follow the path into the mountains, turn north at the fork and pick up Rune Blade. Now go back and follow the main road. Near the bridge at another fork you can climb up the mountains and take Platinum Barrette. Near the bridge, enter the cave. Go into pipe #2 and you'll end up on a ledge where you'll find a Powersoul. Then jump down and go into pipe number 4. You will find All matter. Go down, save at the Save Point and attack the big green spider.

Take the matter left over from the Counter boss and exit to the world map through the passage that was previously guarded by the spider.

Rocket town

Go southwest and then north (take a detour around the mountain). You will see Rocket Town ahead. In the farthest house on the right you will find Power Source. Talk to the old man next to the house and look at the rocket with him, for this he will give you Yoshiyuki - a weapon for Cloud. Enter the house to the right of the old man (this is Shera and Cid's house).

Boss: PALMER
LV: 38
HP: 6000
MP: 240

The boss uses a Mako Gun with an effect of Fire 2, Ice 2 and Bolt 2. Include Iris in the party (with her Healing Wind) or constantly use Restore. Better yet, try to paralyze the Irisova boss with Seal Evil or Choco/Mog matter and finish him off without any problems. The boss will be rewarded with Edincoat.

After the fight, you will fly away on the Tiny Bronco, which will crash into the water. By plane you can sail through shallow waters and cross rivers.

Aircraft control:

"" - leave the plane
"" - enter the plane
"Select/Start" - world map
"/" - camera rotation
"/" - change the type of review

You can now complete several side mini-quests. You can earn the 4th limit for Iris, find Yuffie, find some good items near Wutai, visit Bone Village to purchase Kjata materia, or you can continue playing further in the story.

Betrayal

Return to the Gold Saucer Desert and exit at the south bank of the river. Go southeast to the blacksmith's house. Ask him about Keystone. Now go to North Corel, and from there to Gold Saucer. Go to the Battle Square and right to Dio's Show Room. Here, examine the shiny object on the stand - this is the Keystone. Dio will enter and invite you to fight in the arena in exchange for the stone. Only Cloud will fight. Last 2-3 battles and the stone is yours, and if you can win all the battles, then in addition to the stone you will receive Protect Vest and Choco Feather.

Go to the station, but you won’t be able to leave, because... transport is broken, and you will be forced to stay here. Head to the Ghost Hotel. Chat with your friends and then Cloud will be in his room. Iris (and maybe Tifa, Yaffie or even Barret) will come to your date. Go to Event Square first. Because you will be the 100th person to visit this place, you will be invited to take part in a theatrical production. Afterwards, go take a gondola ride in Round Square. When your fellow traveler looks out the window, do the same (the "" button) - you will see several beautiful screensavers.

Return to Station Square. You will see a Cait Sith running away with your stone. We'll have to run after him. Or you can immediately go to Chocobo Square, where Cait Sith will throw a stone to Tseng, who arrived by helicopter. Now everything is clear: Cait Sith is a spy for the Shinra corporation. But you will have to take it with you on your trip again, because... in Midgar he holds Marlene, Barrett's daughter, hostage. You will find yourself back in the Ghost Hotel. Take the Elixir and leave the room. Form a team and leave the Golden Saucer, because... The road has already been restored. Back in North Corel, go to Tiny Bronco and go to the Temple of the Ancients (on the island south of Junon Town).

Temple of the Ancients

In the temple you will meet Tseng, who was beaten up quite well by Sephiroth. Tseng will give you the Keystone. Place the stone on the altar and you will be teleported into the labyrinth.

Go up, then left, and go down the stairs to the lower level. Go into the passage above, to the right, and down the vine. In the pit you will find Trident. Then to the right, down the stairs, turn around, and climb the wall using the vines. Go up the stairs. Again along the vine up to the platform. Grab the Mind Source here, head down the stairs and then enter the door on your left to find a chest containing a Silver Rifle and an old man. Talk to the old man twice and he will offer you:

* Buy items from him
* Restore HP and MP to maximum
* Save the game
* Nothing

Outside, go up the stairs and down the vine again, but this time go down and to the left. Find Turbo Ether here. Go down the stairs. Move southwest and down the vine. Take Rocket Punch. Now down the stairs and northeast along the path to another vine. Go up it and then up the stairs. Through the archway to the east and down the stairs, then up the nearby vine. Go left under the stairs and take the Luck Plus materia.

Now go back (to the right, down the vines, up the stairs, down and through the archway to where the old man stood, but above the vines). Go east to the end of the path, south and east again and go through the door. There are a lot of rolling boulders here. You need to crouch under the rolling boulders and thus get to the end of the path. The boulders will disappear and you can safely return and take the Morph materia. Then there will be a screensaver, and you can return.

Here the old man is waiting for you again, who will offer his help. Go down the stairs and you will find yourself in a huge room with a dial and twelve exits. To open a particular passage, you need to move the arrows. Here's what's in each passage:

I - Box with monsters. They won't give anything for them.
II - The passage is blocked with stones.
III - Box with monsters. They won't give anything for them.
IV - Box with the best weapons for Iris - Princess Guard
V - Comes to the surface to the box with Ribbon
VI - Read below
VII - Weapon Box for Cait Sith - Trumpet Shell
VIII - Crate with Megalixir.
IX - The passage is blocked with stones.
X - This is where you came from.
XI - Another closed passage.
XII - Room closed for now.

If you stand on the hour or minute hand, then the other hand, going around the circle, will definitely knock you into a hole. Below there is a chest, if you try to open it, ANCIENT DRAGON will attack you. After the battle, in the chest you will find the Nail Bat - Cloud's most powerful weapon on the first disc.

Leave the room and you're back in the area with the vines and stairs. Go to the dial.

Passage VI - Go here after visiting all the other rooms. You will have to catch the old man by running after him through the aisles. Below in the chest is Work Gloves. After catching the old man, save, restore your lives, and go through the opened door at the top. Turn right. After a series of cutscenes, you will have to fight a boss.

Pick up the Bahamut materia. Go right and touch the Black Materia. Stop by and get some treatment from the old man. Return to the room with the clock. Go to passage XII to the boss.

Scenes will follow. Afterwards, you will find yourself at the Gongaga Town Hotel with Barret and Tifa. Go outside. Go to the Tiny Bronco near the south shore. At this point, Iris will leave your party for the rest of the game. You have lost all of its items and matter. Now you must go to the forest that you saw in Cloud's dreams. But first, enter Tiny Bronco.

Village of Bones/Sleeping Forest

Head to the Northern Continent. On the right side of the continent there is a forest surrounded by mountains, in the middle of which lies the skull of an animal. Go to it and you will see archaeologists swarming nearby. First, go up the stairs and further into the Sleeping Forest. Go to the second screen. Stop and you will see red matter floating on the left. You need to calculate its flight trajectory and intercept it. This is Kjata matter.

Return to the archaeologists. You need to ask the archaeologists to dig up a Lunar Harp for you to get through the Sleeping Forest. Talk to the person at the entrance to the house and choose the top option in the conversation. You will need to place 4 treasure hunters. Lunar Harp is located on the top platform, a little west and a little south of the tent.

Having found the item, enter the forest. In the second area the screen will change color and the forest will end. You will find yourself in a rocky area. First, go through the tree trunk to the Water Ring. Then go north and follow the path to the world map. Run east.

Forgotten Capital

At the intersection turn left. Go to the house with Save Point, take Magic Source on the second floor. Exit through the other door and head northeast. Go down the stairs and pick up the Aurora Armlet. Return to the intersection and take the middle path.

Enter the building and take the Comet materia at the top. Return to the intersection again and now take the right path.

Go right, and then north, and enter the building, where you can take Guard Source on the second floor. Take Elixir from the house nearby. Go upstairs, take the Enemy Skill materia behind the bed and go to bed. When you wake up at night, go back to the crossroads and choose the middle path. In the building, go down the stairs. Follow the pillars to reach Iris. Free her and bring her to her senses. At this moment, Sephiroth will appear, who will kill Iris and set another monster on you.

Cave

You start near a building in the east of Ancient City. If you decide to head right, you will be attacked and you will see the ghost of Sephiroth leaving Ancient City. Go north and follow him along the eastern path.

In the next area, go around the thorn and pick up the Viper Halberd (Sid's weapon) in the box. Climb up the spiral staircase and enter the cave. Climb the second gap in the rock, jump to the left and go up two flights of stairs again. Take the Bolt Armlet. Now go down, jump to the right, and then back down the gap for HypnoCrown.

Go up two flights of stairs and take the Megalixir on the right, then go left. Go up the stairs on the left and grab the Magic Plus Materia below. And finally, go to the very top and exit the screen on the right. Before heading northwest, grab the Power Source in the crate.

Outside, go east. After walking along the beach, turn west and go to the Icicle Inn.

Hotel "Icicle"

Go north to the man in purple clothes standing near the trees. When talking to him, select the top option. Elena will appear with two soldiers accompanying her. She will try to hit you. To avoid being hit by her, press the joystick right or left after you see the transparent message box. In any case, it doesn’t really matter whether she hits you in the end or not.

After that, go to the entrance to this place and go into the right house. In the side room you will see a boy, a cat and a snowboard. Talk to the boy and you can take his snowboard. Now go to the hotel, go upstairs and take X-Potion near the left window. Now go to the building on the right side of the village. In the side room, grab Hero Drink and Vaccine, and in the main room, grab the map from the wall. Before leaving the city, you can stock up on weapons, Hi-Potion, Tent. Now walk past the man in purple and you're already snowboarding down the mountain!

Control buttons when riding a snowboard:
Square - slow down
Cross - jump
Start - pause
L1/R1 - quick turn left or right.
Down - slow down

Along the way, you can collect balloons, or you can crash into various obstacles. There are 4 paths you can go down. I drove down the left path twice and ended up in a snowy forest. Where to go? You can use your map (square) and navigate by it. Ultimately, you need to get to the point indicated by the red check mark on the map. To make it easier to get through this place, I will try to describe all the places on the map in more detail.

ENTRANCE (resembles a square in the middle of the screen) - Heading south from here will lead you to the world map. If you return to the Icicle Inn, you will again have to snowboard to get back.

CAVE IN THE MOUNTAIN (small cave to the right of the ENTRANCE) - There is nothing interesting here. You can also get here if you go right from the CAVE IN THE LAKE.

FOREST (forest on the Y-shaped path) - Mind Source can be found here.

PLANE (plane to the left of the forest) - There is nothing interesting here.

CAVE IN THE LAKE (cave in the center of the lake) - On the surface of the frozen lake, near the shore, you can find Potion. Then go left and on the next screen, cross the ice floes to the cave and take the Safety Bit there.

LONELY TREE (pine tree above and to the right of the CAVE IN THE LAKE) - There is nothing here.

ICE BOULDERS (northwest, to the left and below the FACE OF STONE) - Enter the cave, grab the Elixir in the northwest and exit through the other entrance.

RIVER LOG (just above the lake) - There is nothing interesting.

FACE OF STONE (to the left of the red check mark on the map) - Nothing interesting.

LAKE (to the east and south of the red checkmark on the map) - Here you need to touch the water in the reservoir with your hand. Go to the left bank, and after the selection menu appears, select the top option.

MOUNTAIN CROSSROADS (top of the mountain east of the LAKE) - At the crossroads, head to the top right corner of the screen to exit the map. In the next area, go up and left. When the screen repeats, look for Blue Materia (Added Cut) at the beginning of the screen.

In general, if you do everything quickly, you will reach your destination without any problems, and not freeze somewhere.

If you, while snowboarding, turned left 2 times and found yourself in the forest, then go right to the CAVE IN THE LAKE, again right past the CAVE IN THE MOUNTAIN and to the CROSSING OF MOUNTAINS, from where you can get to the LAKE, and then, going left to reach the snowy plain . This way you will get through this area as quickly as possible, while collecting all the items.

Lost in the snow

If you faint:
You awaken in the house of an old man named Holzoff. Go upstairs and talk to the old man. In a conversation, select the top answer option twice. The next morning, save at Save Point. Exit the shack. Your friends are already waiting for you. Form a new party and head south.

If you don't faint:
Go through the snowy area to the shack (north). There you will meet a hermit named Holzoff. In a conversation, select the top answer option twice. The next morning, leave the house and form a new party.

If you don't want to explore the snowy plain any further, you can move on to the next chapter. In the end, you can always come back here.

You are in a large snowy plain. Using the "circle" you can put red bars to track your location (since your position changes after the wind changes its direction). Go north from the LAKE and you will reach a cave with ALL materia.

If you go east you will reach another cave. Inside, talk to the lady and a battle will begin (but only if you touched the water in the LAKE).

After the victory, do not forget to take the remaining Alexander materia.

Crater/Dangerous Labyrinth

After traveling across the snowy plain, return to the old man's house and save. Now head north towards the icy mountain. While climbing the mountain, you must always maintain your body temperature within 27-38 degrees (just quickly press “Square”). If the temperature drops below 27 degrees, you automatically return to the Holzoff house. The temperature can only be increased by being on one of the rock ledges. So be careful.

So, we go up until we reach the entrance to the cave, not forgetting to maintain our body temperature at a sufficient height. Inside, go through the two arches and enter the next cave. Here, go up the stairs and exit into the southern passage. In the adjacent area, go right and at the end you will find Ribbon. Go back and go north, then west, and exit. Cross the ice bridge in the third cave and press the SELECT button to reach the top. At the top, examine the boulder and when selected, click on the top answer option. The boulder will roll down and clear the passage.

Return to the other cave (where you took the Ribbon) and take the Javelin in the northeast. Return to the cave with the boulder that was previously blocking the passage and go north until you reach another exit. It leads to the upper path above where you picked up the Javelin. Soon you will find yourself outside.

Climb up the wall again. Along the way you will have a choice: move up or to the right. Select the top option and you will soon reach a ledge. Keep going up and you'll again have a choice: right or down. Select the top option and you will reach another ledge. Then continue climbing up again, on the next ledge to the left and up again until you reach the second cave.

This cave is simply studded with various passages. Save at Save Point. Go down to the right corner of the room and grab the Elixir there, then go north to the exit. Outside, head north, then south and east.

In the next area, explore the cave and on the right you will find a Fire Armlet. There are 4 large stalactites in this cave. You need to shoot them all down. Each stalactite is guarded by several bats.

After you knock down the last icicle, take Megalixir on the left. Head back to the path. Before you try to log out, a selection option will appear. Select the bottom option and you'll drop down into the cave below. Here you need to knock down 3 icicles to reach the exit. If you knock down all 4, you can grab the Speed Source in the upper left corner of the cave. After that, jump over the stones to the exit, and follow the curving path into the cave below, not forgetting to grab the Enhance Sword along the way.

Follow the path and go outside. Climb the rock to the right. When choosing a path, choose the bottom option and climb to the right. When you reach the ledge, raise your body temperature and climb to the left. Another choice will appear. Click the top option and go up. And then enter the last cave. Save and restore HP and MP by drinking from the glowing spring.

Head right. Here you will see one of those creatures similar to what you saw in Nibelheim. But before you can get a better look at him, the boss attacks you.

If you were badly battered during the battle, then you can return to the pond and restore your strength. Then go down and go outside. Climb up, and then go along the crater. On the next screen, Tifa will talk to you if she is in your party, and if not, she will appear and insist that you include her in the party. After that, go left. Go down the slope and go left, pick up the red Neo Bahamut materia, and then jump down to the Save Point and save.

Now go back up and go left again. Reach the first energy barrier. Pass by when it weakens. On the next screen, follow the path, making sure to pick up the Kaiser Knuckle along the way. On the next screen you will see a second barrier. Behind the shield, Sephiroth is already waiting for you, who will set his second version of Jenova on you.

After you acquire Black Materia, give it to Barret or Red XIII (depending on who asks). Then talk to Tifa. After that, head north. On the way, pick up MP Turbo, save at Save Point, and also pick up Poison Ring. Once you've cleared the third and final barrier, the entire party will be transported to the entrance to Nibelheim.

Here you will have to listen to a bunch of different dialogues about Cloud. Talk to Tifa after control returns to you, talk to Sephiroth, then talk to Tifa again, and you can watch the cutscene. The result of all this will be that Cloud will disappear, and the rest of the party will become prisoners of Shinra.

Junon is under attack!

You are imprisoned in Junon Town. Once Tifa talks to Barret, Rufus and Heidegger will appear. After control passes to Barret, follow Tifa with the guards who are leading her to execution (save at the Save Point along the way).

After Tifa is thrown into the gas chamber, kill the two soldiers, pull the chamber door, talk to the Cait Sith and run towards the exit. Go down the road. Exit to the surface to the Airport. Go to the platform in the center and examine the yellow box to go up. Follow the plane and turn right.

Control will pass to Tifa. You must pick up the key from the floor to free her. To do this, press the buttons in this order: “cross”, “cross”, “triangle”, “cross + triangle”, “triangle + circle”, “circle” (or “cross”, “cross”, “triangle”, “ cross + triangle", "triangle + square", "square"). The main thing is to take your time and everything will work out. Explore the back of the room on the left side of the chair to turn off the gas.

Get out through the gap in the wall, go down, and run north. Climb onto the cannon barrel and run up. Scarlet will overtake you here. Slap her ("circle"). After 5-6 slaps, she will fall down, and Barrett will save you on Highwind.

Go to the cabin and talk to Sid. Then with Red XIII and again with Sid. Then chat with the plane pilot. Afterwards, go to the room called "Operations" and talk to the man there. You will be able to form a new team led by Tifa. Come back. Talk to the man at the right helm, select the top option and you will be able to control the Highwind.

Now is the time to take on various new quests and finish those that you did not have time to complete on the first disc (see the “Quests” section on the website). But now you won’t be able to get into the Golden Saucer. But this can be done a little later.

Where's Cloud?/North Corel Express

Board the Highwind and head to the southern continent. Find a forest with a small village nearby. This is Mideel. Come in. There are good goods in the stores here, you can stock up well.

Then go to the weapon shop and explore the back door. Outside, go up the stairs and behind the house where you can buy accessories, you will hear a sound. If you press "circle" to explore the floor, you will find a key. Go to the weapons store and to the locked door. When the window appears, select the top option. When the shop owner asks the question, select the bottom option and he will give you a Curse Ring.

There is a child in the city who runs around the shops and buys everything. You can talk to him in any store. If you have Mimett Greens, you can feed the baby white chocobo, then scratch the chocobo behind the ear to get Contain materia.

When you reach the square, Tifa will pet the cat and hear a conversation about a strange man being taken to the hospital. This is none other than Cloud, who survived the explosion in the Crater. But he clearly doesn't look like himself.
At this time, Cait Sith will inform you that Shinra is hunting for Huge Materia, with which they want to destroy the Meteor before it reaches Earth. Barrett is concerned that Shinra is willing to kill anyone who gets in its way. As a result, Tifa remains with the sick Cloud, and Sid becomes the leader of the group.

Go to the "Operation Room" and form a new team. Return to Mideel and go to the house in the center of town. There you will see an old man and a cat, and Elixir will be lying on the bed. Take it and try to leave the house. But suddenly the cat gets mad! and won't want to let you out. A selection menu will appear. Choose the top option and admit what you did. The man will forgive you and let you go (or choose the lower option and then Sid will try to refuse, and the old man will report that Elixir is no good (this is not true)). In general, in any case, you will stay with Elixir.

You can now leave the city and board the Highwind.
The next thing you must do is stop the train with Huge Materia on board. Fly the Highwind to Nort Corel, and then follow the railroad to the Mako Reactor. Go to the station and knock out two guards, then get on the train and chase the departing train. Press "up" and "triangle" to reach the composition. You are given 10 minutes to do everything about everything. You need to make your way through four cars, killing monsters along the way, and, having reached the locomotive, stop the train.

To stop the locomotive you need to press: “up + triangle”, “down + cross”, “down + cross”, or: “down + cross”, “down + cross”, “down + cross”

The train should stop a few meters from the city. You will receive Huge Materia and Ultima materia as a gift from the child. Then go to the house below the inn, and the lady will give you a Break Manual (level 4 limit for Barret).

Fort Condor

Board Highwind and fly to Fort Condor. Enter and climb to the top of the tower. Talk to the man in the room with the locked door. In a conversation, choose the middle answer and start the game (read the battle tactics in the “Quests” section). When you win the battle, you will be able to open the locked door. On the roof, take the Phoenix and if you talk to the man sitting at the table (with the big hat), you will get Huge Materia from him.

In Cloud's head

Return back to Mideel. When you talk to Tifa, the screen will begin to shake. Leave the house and you will be attacked by a huge black dragon, the second of four Weapons.

Then you (Tifa) will find yourself in Lifestream, where you will learn some details about Cloud's life. Talk to Cloud at the top, remember him coming to Nibelheim, then talk to Cloud on the left. After control returns to Tifa, talk to the hero near Cloud the Child. Question the latter, look out the window, talk to Cloud's shadow, and then to the "real" Cloud. Finally, talk to him one last time, and return to the real world.

100 Leagues Under the Sea

Create a new team on the plane. You can now purchase previously unavailable items from Mideel, and obtain Contain materia from the White Chocobo if you have not already done so. You can also now visit the Golden Saucer.

Head to Junon Town to find the third Huge Materia. Go to the city center and down the main road. Continue walking until you reach the underground, where the captain is training his soldiers. Continue down the road until you see a door marked "1" against the left wall. Enter and you will find yourself in an elevator where you will have to fight the guards. Go upstairs and fight more soldiers again. Ignore the dog and head down the hill and then through the door. In the next area, go down the stairs until you reach another door. Move up the stairs again, save at the Save Point and go to the second elevator. If you go north to the second screen here and fight random enemies, you'll end up fighting a Ghost Ship. Cast "Morph" on it and get Guide Book, which you will need later.

Go north until you reach an underwater tunnel, from here it's a stone's throw to the Mako factory. Inside, examine the red light on the far wall, exit, and you will find yourself in a huge underwater dock. Save at the Save Point and go north to the room with the soldiers. You'll have to fight a little, and then you'll see Red Huge Materia being loaded onto the submarine. Reno is also present here, who will set the next boss on you.

Go left and pick up the Battle Trumpet. Return, go right and run along the pier to the gray submarine. On the stairs, take the Scimitar, and nearby - Leviathan Scales. Go up the stairs, fight with the soldiers, save, and go to the cabin. Here you will meet two guards and a captain. You can steal some good armor from him - Shinra Alpha. Explore the place where the captain was. A selection will appear, select the top option to see a description of the boat controls. The bottom option launches the boat and you enter a mini-game.

Boat control:

"Square" - torpedo launch
"Cross" - back
"Triangle" - forward
"R1" - switch between close-up view and eye view
"R2" - switch different viewing angles
"Start" - shows the control screen

The goal of the game is to destroy the enemy submarine (red) within the allotted time (10 minutes).

Return to Junon Town and go to the place where the dog is blocking your passage. Deal with the guards, examine the dog and you will be able to enter the red submarine. Beat up the captain and the sailors, and you will have a new boat.

Underwater Adventure

Submarine control:

"Cross" - dive/surface
"Circle" - forward
"L1/R1" - turn left/right

If you sank the red boat, then sail to a chain of small islands southeast of the blacksmith's house (the guy who lived near the Golden Saucer). Dive in and you'll find a red submarine. Touch it and get Huge Materia.

Then return to Junon Town to complete the quest related to searching inside the GELNIKA plane (read the "Quests" section for the second disc).

After that, sail to the northern continent. Position your submarine as close as possible to the greenery-covered southwestern tip of the northern continent and dive into the depths. There is a small cave to the east of you. Swim into the tunnel and at the end touch Key to Ancients.

And finally, sail to Wutai to complete the quest for this place (read the “Quests” section for the second disc).

Sid's rocket

Go to Rocket Town (near the Golden Saucer). Move towards the rocket, fighting soldiers along the way. At the top of the rocket you will have to fight...

Enter the rocket, win the fight and press circle to open the northern door. Sid will talk to the workers. After launching the rocket, go right into the next room and up the stairs.

Explore Huge Materia and select the top answer option from the menu that appears. Now you need to correctly press the buttons on the corresponding messages:

1 - circle
2 - square
3 - cross
4 - cross

After this you can take Huge Materia. Return to the entrance and go down the stairs. A series of events will happen. Watch the FMV and you'll be in Highwind, with the meteor even closer to the planet.

Return to the Forgotten Capital/Midgar under Siege

Fly Highwind to Cosmo Canyon. Go to the observatory and talk to Bugenhagen. Your friends will come and you will talk about Sephiroth and Aeris. Then go upstairs and go to each of the 4 Huge Materia. Select the bottom option near the materia and return to Highwind. Fly back to the Northern Continent, namely Forgotten Capital. At the intersection, go left to the area with the blue crystal that was not previously accessible. Go along the top, and then along the stairs to the crystal. Bugenhagen will talk to you. Since you already received the Key to Ancients, Bugenhagen uses it to create a waterfall.

Iris will appear in the waterfall. Leave Forgotten Capital and head to Midgar City as it has been attacked by a giant monster. As soon as the boss reaches the shore, attack him.

Sister Ray will then destroy the Diamond Weapon and the shield surrounding the crater. At this point in the game, if you return to the lake near Junon Town, you will come across an Ultimate Weapon there. You can fight him by ramming him with Highwind. After the battle, he will fly away from you. You will have to fly after him and fight until, in the end, he finally stops near Cosmo Canyon. After you destroy it, you will receive an Ultima Weapon.

Meanwhile, Hojo wants to use Sister Ray again, without even guaranteeing the consequences of this step. You will have to return to Midgar City and stop him. Parachute into the city. Follow the Cait Sith, save, talk to the team and climb into the hatch. Go along the passage and down. Go up the next passage and when you reach the wall, go right for an Elixir, then left for a Megalixir.

Go back to the place with the stairs. Go down the stairs to a long passage. Go first east and then north until you reach another set of stairs. Climb up it and you can pick up the Aegis Bracelet. Turn back towards the long passage and go right. You will reach a lower road. Go left, jump onto the pipe, and go up the stairs. When you reach another ladder, go up it. You will reach a path just below the one you were on before. Follow it until you reach a ramp. Use it to move to a new area. Take the Starlight Horn here and go right, take the Elixir near the stairs. Go down the stairs and go to the ramp at number 42. At the other end, go left and up the stairs. At the top left, take the Max Ray. Jump onto the platform and go up the stairs to your left. There is a Save Point at the top. Go right and you will find yourself in the subway. Go down and go south. After a few screens in one of the branches you can find Power Source. At the next fork in the road you will find Guard Source. In another branch you will find Magic Source and Mind Source. When you reach a dead end, save at Save Point and take the W-Item materia on the right.

Now go back to the stairs. Go north and you'll come across Turks. If you have already completed the quest to save Yaffa (rescuing Elena from Corneo in Wutai) then you will have a choice, fight them or go their separate ways, but if not, then you will only have to fight.

After the battle, go north. At the crossroads, head north again. If Sid is not in the party, then you will meet him here. Go right and turn left at the intersection. At the end, go up the stairs to Shinra headquarters. Up the stairs and look for a door called "Accessories". In the room adjacent to it you can take Master Fist and Pile Banger. Then go up to the 64th floor and look for a locker (north of the elevator) with HP Shout (best weapon for Cait Sith). If you buy water from the vending machine on the 64th floor, you can get Speed Source and Mind Source. On the floor where you did the puzzles earlier, you will find a Grow Lance and a Behimoth Horn.

Return to the underground. Go south and left at the next place. You will be at the top. Go to the main street and north. A huge metal monster will appear, controlled by Heidegger and Scarlet. We'll have to fight again.

Run north. Take Elixir and Mystile, save at the Save Point, then go up the stairs. If you have Barret in your party, then you will find his best weapon - Missing Score. Once up, go right. Hojo will attack you as soon as you try to talk to him.

Boss: HOJO

Boss: HELLETIC HOJO
LV: 55 HP: 26000 MP: 200 Weakness: None

Don't be distracted by small monsters, but hit the HOJO right away. In the second reincarnation, attack the body without being distracted by the hands. Ribbon and Barrier help against his attacks quite well. In the last form you will have to cast Haste on yourself. In attack, use your best attacks and most powerful summons. For winning you will be given a Power Source.

After killing the boss you will return to Highwind. A cutscene featuring Tifa and Cloud will play, and this will end the second disc.

Northern Cave/Last Step

You start on the Highwind deck. If you want to complete the quests on this disc, then go to the cockpit, talk to the engineer near Sid, and select the top option to go to control Highwind. By the way, it now has jet engines. Before flying to the crater, it would also be a good idea to grab the best weapon for Red. Fly to Cosmo Canyon, go up to the second floor of the observatory (Red should be in your party) and chat with Bugenhagen. After that, go to the fire and talk to the people. You now have a Limited Moon in your inventory.

Fly to Northern Crater and land Highwind. Go out onto the deck and go down the rope ladder. Go southwest. On the next screen you will have the choice to return (bottom option) or continue descent (top option). Go down and you will find a Save Crystal (you will need it later to make a Save Point). Your next find will be Guard Source.

On the next screen you can climb up the silvery parts of the mountain (press the circle next to them). Go right and fall down. Get Guard Source here. In the next chest, take the Mind Source. Climb up the ledge to your left. Go all the way to the left and go up two more ledges, and then right for the Magic Source. Move left again, go to the next ledge, then right, and go up. Another right and up the large ledge, then left and take Elixir. To the next ledge, left and up the silver part. Take Power Source. If you go to the right, you will find HP Absorb. Finally, jump down, go right and climb to the very top.

Go south and then right until you go down a level. Then go left and grab the Mind Source. Go to the edge of the ledge and press circle to jump to MP Plus. Now go left until you go down. Go right. Take Megalixir. Go back and go left. Go down to the lower level. Run to the right and take Hero Drink from the chest. Now go left and take Guard Source. Go back and go to the top of the screen.

Run right until you jump down, then right again and down again, and enter the cave. Through it to the next cave. Left and down. Go left until you fall, right again and down again.
Here, climb down two stalactites to reach a cave with your friends. Everyone will ask you which path they should take next. Form a group to go with you. Take any road you want. See further in the description for LEFT PATH or RIGHT PATH depending on where you went. Once you reach the RAMPING POINT, you can return and explore other locations.

RIGHT PATH.

You will end up on a rock. Follow the path to the end, and then jump down. On the right, take the Mystile. On the left, take the Elixir. Continue along the path until you reach a wide area. Here in the north you can take Speed Source, and in the south Tetra Elemental. Return to the main road and go east and then north. Here the road branches to the north and west. Go west and grab Megalixir from the chest. Head north, remembering to take Megalixir along the way, and you'll soon reach a bone bridge. Go down and reach the RUN POINT.

LEFT PATH.

At this point, your comrades will ask you which route to take here. Take the upper or lower path (TOP and BOTTOM in the description).

Down into a separate area and run to the right. When there is nowhere to move, press up and jump to another area. Here, go right and grab the Magic Source. Now jump back to the first area and go left and then north. When you reach the edge, Cloud will jump onto the nearby rocks. Follow the path north and Cloud will dive into the water and come out on the other side. Now go left and then north and you can grab the Remedy. Now go to the right, but at the top (east and then north) to reach a new play area.
Here, go right to grab a Hero Drink. Take the top path and then run left. A little to the north you can find Vaccine. Go right and climb to the top of the mountain for the Shield Materia. Go left and go down. Below you will find the Imperial Guard. Now dive into the water and come up on the other side. Head south and then east to reach the next area.

Go left, then slightly to the center of the screen, and then north. A menu will pop up here, press “circle” and get W-Magic materia. Now you can go down (to the south and then to the east). Explore the dark area here and get the Counter materia. Now head west and then north to reach the cave entrance. You will be taken to the COLLECTION POINT.

Go downstairs and take Remedy from the chest. Go right and take Elixir. Go back and go to the ledge. Jump to the chest with the X-Potion. And then go southeast. On the next screen, jump down and go left for a chest containing Turbo Ether. Then follow the path east and north. Find Vaccine here. Now go west, then follow the path south. When you reach the bottom of the screen, head south.

In this area, first go right, press down and jump onto the ledge. Below is another ledge with an X-Potion. Move left across the stone bridge, go down and go right. Here, cross the pebbles to the left to Turbo Ether. If you go left, then jump down. Nearby, a ball floats in the air. Jump from the small ledge to the large one, and when you are near the ball, a menu will appear. Press "circle" and you can take the ball, which is none other than Mega All materia. Once you have the materia and are on the large ledge, go to the other end. Here grab Speed Plus Source. Now go south and drop down onto the lower path. Head south again and you will reach the RAMPING POINT.

GATHERING PLACE

On the right side, take the Luck Source. Follow the path until you meet your friends. Here, collect a new batch, distribute the matter between all the characters. Now, having chosen the top answer option and descended further into the crater, you will no longer be able to go back. You can make a Save Point here using the previously found Save Crystal. Once down, simply jump from one floating ledge to another. On the second screen, get to the central island, where Jenova's final form will attack you.

After the battle, you will be able to form a new party, and then you will have to fight Sephiroth.

Boss: BIZZARO SEPHIROTH A
LV: 61 HP: 40000 MP: ?? Weakness: No
Boss: BIZZARO SEPHIROTH B
LV: 61 HP: 2000 MP: 200 Weakness: None

Boss: BIZZARO SEPHIROTH D

Boss: BIZZARO SEPHIROTH E
LV: 61 HP: 4000 MP: 1000 Weakness: None

Use Haste and Wall on yourself (you can also use Regen). Against the boss, use your best and most powerful attacks, similar to Coin Toss, Ultima and Knights of the Round. If you use several commands in this battle, you can switch between them from time to time and finish off one of the boss parts. The main task here is to take out part C first, which can heal all other parts.

Finally, fight the final reincarnation of Sephiroth.

The final battle with Sephiroth is super-simple. Use your Omnislash as soon as the menu ("circle") appears, and after the battle you can enjoy the final cutscene. The game is completed.

If you go underwater in your submarine by the gold saucer, you will find a sunken airplane containing Hades materia, Highwind(Cid"s limit break), and Double-cut materia.

Getting Yuffie

You"ll find her in any forest on the world map. To get her to join your party, you must first defeat her. Then when she asks to fight again, say no. Then no again. Then DONT ASK HER WHAT HER NAME IS !And she will join your party.

If you have obtained the W-item materia, you can duplicate any battle items:

  • Get into a battle.

When this happens, kill em! You get tons of AP. Best do this with double or triple growth weapons. For a lot of gil, you must encounter little red bounce balls and kill them. They are in the same cave. This is best done with gil plus materia.

Getting Vincent

To get Vincent to join your party, you must go to the Shinra Mansion in Neibelhem and go to the 2nd floor into the topright room. You should see a safe. You will have a time limit to do this so be quick. The combonation is: 36-10-59-97 (Note: turn to the right first and after 59 dont go back, just go straight to 97). If you put in the code right, it will open and you will fight a giant monster. Here are some tips for fighting him: He has 2 sides: one side is defensive to attack and one side is defensive to magic. Your limit breaks will work well on him. A good limit when fighting him is Aeris"s seal evil and also Cloud"s cross-slash. You should summon choco-mog as much as possible. After you have defeated him, you must go into the door that leads to the basement. Once all the way down, go into the room with the coffins (If you go into the library, you may encounter Sepheroth who will give you the destruct materia). Now go into the coffin room using the key you got from the safe (You can also get Red 13"s limit break "Cosmo memory" from the safe). Now inspect the coffin and Vincent will pop out. After talking with him, he will go back to sleep. When this happens, leave the basement. Vincent should now say "wait" and join your party. If he doesn't, go back into the coffin room and try again.

Getting A Gold Chocobo

There are 2 ways to get a gold chocobo. 1. Defeat the ruby weapon and take the rose to Kalm. 2. Breed one.

Heres how to breed a gold chocobo

First catch 2 good or great chocobos at Mideel. Make sure they are of the opposite sex. Then take them back to the stables and feed them lots of greens. Next, race them at the gold saucer and get them into A rank. Then mate them at the stables using a Carob nut (you get the carob nut off of a monster on an island south from the northern continent). You should now either have a blue or green chocobo (A blue can walk in shallow water and a green can walk over mountains). Now enjoy your new chocobo and ride it for a while because it takes along time before the great chocobos can mate again. But when they can, mate them again with another carob nut and you should get a different color from the first breeded chocobo. Now make sure its the opposite sex and then wait until the chocobo grows up (It should grow up after about 9 or 10 battles). Then mate the blue and green chocobos with a carob nut (Make sure all your chocobos are in A rank). Okay, you should now have a black chocobo! Now you must race him at the gold saucer until he"s in A rank and then go to the northern continent. On the left of it, you should see chocobo tracks. Make sure your chocobo lure is at at least 3 stars. You can now catch a Wonderful chocobo. Take it back to the stables and if the boy there says its a wonderful chocobo, race it into A rank and breed it with a black chocobo with a Zeio nut that you get on goblin island (the forest). Its east from the northern continent. You should now have a gold chocobo. If you dont, reset it and try again. Might I suggest you use your gold chocobo to go to round island and get the Knights of the round materia?

Cast A Spell 3 Times

To cast a spell 3 times you must link the "all" materia with the spell you want to use. Then, in battle, cast reflect on your entire party. To cast the spell 3 times, cast the spell with "all" on your party. It will then bounce off and hit the enemy 3 times for the price of one.

Learning Big Guard

To learn big guard enemy skill, go to the beach of Costa de Sol and fight black monsters called beach plugs. When in battle, manipulate them and force them to cast big guard on the character with the enemy skill materia. This also allows you to learn death force from the turtle at wutai and dragon force from the darkdragon in the northern cave.

Getting Knights Of The Round Table

In order to get Knights of the Round, you need a gold chocobo. Take it to an island near the northeast corner of the world map. Its called Round Island. Go inside the cave and you will see the red orb in the middle (KOR).

Getting Mime And HPMP Materia

To get the Mime materia, you need a green chocobo. Go to a cave on the western continent southeast from Wutia village. Inside is a yellow orb (mime). To get the HPMP materia, you need a black or gold chocobo. Go to the cave on the continent with Midgar. It is surrounded by desert. Go into the cave and grab the purple orb (HPMP). Although this materia isn't that useful.

The Old Man At Kalm

When your in Kalm, the city closest to Midgar, you can get rare items in exchange for what the old man asks for. He is on the second floor of one of the houses there.Heres what he will ask for:

  • A rose that blooms in the desert (you get this after beating the ruby weapon). You trade this for a gold chocobo.
  • A guidebook (you have to morph a ghost ship from the underwater reator into the guidebook). You trade this for the Underwater materia which is used to defeat the Emrald weapon.
  • Use the Underwater Materia to defeat the underwater weapon, Ruby, and you will receive an item that you can trade for the master summon materia.

Easy GP

Go to the Gold Saucer and then proceed to the arm wrestling machine. If you have a turbo controller get a rubber band and put it on the Circle button. Then activate the turbo controller and sit and wait. After a few hours you will have a ton of GP.

Easy Strength Gain

You need the Morph materia and a character"s ultimate weapon(optional but makes it easier when morphing) for this to work. Go to the Gongaga Reactor(the ruined one) and go to the reactor itself in the place and just walk around until you get into a battle, you should fight a Heavy Tank(the triceratops tank,if i"m right it"s a 100% encounter rate) and use morph and it"ll turn to a power source. You can keep morphing these guys into power sources and easily max a character's strength out.

Item Duplication

You have to have the W-Item Materia for this to work. Equip it, and select the first item and use it. Then select your second item, do not use it, just place the cursor on someone. Then Press the cancel button, select the item again and press cancel. Keep repeating this and the first item you used will keep increasing by one.

Getting the Quadra Magic without a Chocobo

There is a way to get the materia "Quadra Magic" without having to breed a River Chocobo. You"ll need the Highwind. Fly it to the most southwestern tip of land on the map and you"ll notice a cave. Follow this back (Mideel way) until you get to a slightly upraised piece of land. Go as far as you can to the edge of the cliff. Face the Highwind south. Press the land button and quickly but lightly press R1. The Highwind should land half on the cliff and half off. You can now walk up to the cave and get the Quadra Magic.

Ancient Forest Revival

After you gain access to the Ancient Forest, there is a way to revive your characters without using a Phoenix Down. If you have a dead character, walk into one of the "fly traps" and make it swallow you. When it spits you back out, your dead character will be revived (with one HP left:P)

Tougher Enemies for Fast Leveling and AP

This glitch is exploitable after passing through Junion the first time and returning via the ship after completing the episode at Gold Saucer. Board the ship at Costa del Sol. Go to Junion and head away from the dock that the ship is at. Follow the main road to the tunnel that divides the city in two. In the tunnel there should be a number of Shinra soldiers drilling. On the left wall, there is a red box. Go up to it and press the action button. You should hear a siren going off. Walk around and you will get into random encounters with enemies that aren't supposed to be encountered until Junion is attacked by Weapon on disc 2. You will probably need to use summons and magic contiuously during your first few battles to defeat the enemies. Don "t forget to save money on potions, ethers, and pheonix downs by using the Junion Inn, which is also a good place to save.

Turtle Paradise Prizes

Through out the game, you may have noticed little posters placed up across the game. These posters belong to the owner of the Turtle Paradise restaurant in Wutai. When you get all six and give them to the Turtle Paradise Restuaraunt in Wutai you can get one of each "Source" item, as well as a Megalixir.

  • Turtle Paradise Poster 1- Sector 5 Slums, on the Wall Upstairs in house, east side of town

  • Without any exaggeration, Final Fantasy 7 is the most famous Japanese role-playing game on planet Earth. It is a fact. Another thing is that not everyone will call it the best in the genre, and, most likely, it is no longer the first in the sales ranking. But the fame has not gone away to this day. For a long time I was worried about the question: what to write and whether to write at all? Does it make sense to compose a review from other people's phrases? Should we once again sing an ode to Squaresoft or leave a big gap on the website dedicated to console RPGs, missing a milestone event for the entire genre?

The scales swayed from side to side for a long time and senselessly, forming the only correct thought - there should be a review. It doesn’t matter whether it’s good or bad, the main thing is not to leave empty space...

The solution was found quickly - you just need to pour from empty to empty throughout the entire story... Therefore, in the above review the game is written insofar as. A minimum of specifics, a little pathos and zero mandatory paragraphs. But there’s a whole bunch of cockroaches tapping secret passages in my head. So read at your own risk.

    Trends in good taste

Was Final Fantasy 7 special, and what did it mean for the entire gaming world? Again, a controversial continuation of Snesov's role-playing game? only if? For the gaming world as a whole, the main trump card of the seven was paramount - cinematography. When the characters spent half an hour immersed in memories or wading through the jungle of the subconscious, not caring at all about the fact that now it would be nice to insert a monster for moral relief. When at the very beginning, rushing at full speed, the train suddenly stopped and turned into part of the scenery. When Cloud jumped into the seat of his bike and, speeding along the freeway, fought off the attacking Shinra soldiers... A huge number of these memorable moments, frame by frame, formed into a real interactive movie. What made other industry figures think about plot orientation...
The success of the brilliant Metal Gear Solid, which appeared a little later, showed that any genre is available for exciting storytelling. Perhaps it was FF7 and MGS that forced developers of all stripes to reconsider the concept of the relevance of storyline in the game.

And finally, various narrow-minded people have stopped simplifying interactive works of art to the level of distributing missions, for the purpose of the so-called “adaptation to the non-Japanese market.” A good presentation of the plot became a real boom. The heroes of the games began to acquire names, characters, and personality traits. No, there are no more outright masterpieces. And the plot was often sculpted to the best of one’s abilities, but now it was there! Even at the most abandoned arcade. With dialogues and main characters... Moreover, the cinematography did not become a revelation only for consoles. The conservative world of personal computers is also slowly moving away from the dominance of statistics in gameplay to meaningful stories. Take the excellent Max Payne 2. What is it? Not a bad shooter? What is usual for me personally is to spit and grind. But what a presentation of the plot, what an atmosphere, what a hero! Ten out of ten – precisely for the cinematography. And Warcraft 3?! This is a whole fantasy canvas, with its own memorable events and faces!

The impulse created by the seventh finale made the wall tremble, which many excellent quests could not break through, which for many years huddled in a cramped, small world, gradually dying out under the onslaught of all sorts of diabetes. And even though JRPGs follow the well-trodden anime path, the notorious cinematography can be adopted in your own way. What, for example, even the Wachowski brothers did in Enter the Matrix, which, apart from the films and The Animatrix, cannot be rationally perceived at all. Time passes, and Western developers have learned to respond to the Japanese Shenmue with their Fahrengeit. Why, now not a single FPS can do without NPCs and story scenes in the engine. Half Life, released 3 years after FF7, played an important role in this.

    A life that never happened...

The mini-games that Final Fantasy 7 is packed with were also not a revelation; they were simply refinements of the ideas of their predecessors, like the same Chrono Trigger. But it was the seventh fantasy that forced them to be taken into account, to pay attention. Using it not as just another attraction, but to expand your understanding of the world around you. These five-minute fun was quickly adopted by many, many. The fresh crop of multi-genre creations sometimes amazes with what can be done in a single game. A great example of combining story and mini-games is the latest GTA. They crammed so much in there that it would be enough for ten games. And take Mortal Kombat Deception with its Conquest Mode. Who would have thought that fighting games would develop into a built-in role-playing game, where it is proposed to live the life of one of the heroes right up to old age! Gradually, it seems that all interactive entertainment is developing in the direction of one single genre. Life simulator. Which brings up a number of interesting thoughts. From the rainbow - here you can do everything, everything, everything. To the frightening - virtual reality can become as mundane and gray as the real one, with complexes, endless problems and the possibility of death... And then there will be nowhere to run. But for now it's still a game. A game?

Graphics in the form of two-dimensional backgrounds and three-dimensional characters existed before Final Fantasy, but were not very popular and were rarely used. After Seven (and in fairness, Resident Evil), many Sony games adopted this method, but that’s not the point. The whole point is the organic interweaving of CG videos into the gameplay. The most beautiful silicone at the time of the game's release appeared when you least expected it. The scenery came to life literally before our eyes! Everything around began to move, explode, fall... Once again I would like to thank the employees of Squaresoft for the correct approach to using the resources of the console. It was impossible to achieve such beautiful pictures with regular 3D graphics on PSX! The harmony with which the cutscenes were integrated into the gameplay could not help but delight. The world was no longer perceived as static - it began to live, and to live literally, and not content with the boundaries of the players’ imagination. Which, perhaps, is the main merit of the graphic design. Not everyone is capable of making a live RPG using such modest capabilities.

And magic. MAGIC. Squaresoft showed what 3D magic really is. This is an extravaganza of special effects and a flight of fancy, and not pathetic multi-colored flashes. Then conversations began, like: “I have time to eat, read the newspaper and run to the toilet while one summon is going on.” But at first the magic was amazing. It shocked me so much that it was impossible to tear myself away! Not anymore. But the game coped with its task - the tone was set. And the rest reached out: expensive RPG = spectacular magic.

    Many years later...

Can a nine-year-old game become a favorite? No, probably not. It will only be idolized by being the first RPG you ever played on the PSX nine/eleven years ago. For some, Final Fantasy 6 is the height of perfection, while others worship FF8. After all, first love is never forgotten. Having picked it up now, after the graphically more powerful role-playing games from modern platforms, you can, at best, recognize the merits of the old game, and enjoy it just because you love old games. In any case, it will no longer become a standard. Neither to condemn the genre, nor to elevate it. Just a good game, perhaps. Or maybe just a game...

And recommending FF7, claiming that “everyone should try this masterpiece” is pointless. Those who met the Seven after such recommendations, as a rule, greet it with hostility. Already subconsciously looking for flaws in everything, they, having tuned in to something incredible, suddenly discover that this is not at all what they were foaming at the mouth about. They approach the game with the thought “Here I am – give me perfection!” I’m sitting here all ready! … What is that? Did they make heroes from two training grounds or what? Oh, hold me five...” and off we go... Then, at every opportunity, the game is “lowered”, they say that it is one hundred percent!@#$%, and it is difficult to imagine a more senseless waste of time.
Just an observation from life. Therefore, you should not advertise the finale too widely to a person unfamiliar with it. Maybe he's just from a different generation. And his concepts of beauty are completely different...

    One Winged Angel

Rumors about an upcoming remake on PS3 turned out to be a hoax. Although it is possible that, having settled into the new platform from Sony, Square-Enix will now decide to make extra money on the popular trademark. In the meantime, the said company is only dabbling in additions and offshoots, like Before Crisis and Dirge of Cerberus. But anything can happen (even FFX-2 happens...). Perhaps soon the thirst for profit will take its toll, and then the updated graphics will make the old world breathe in accordance with modern trends, but will this world remain old? After all, neither Hiranobu Sakaguchi nor Nobuo Uematsu have anything to do with the twelfth part of Final Fantasy. Will FF7 be spoiled by outside hands and other people's ideas? For now, the question is open, and we can only peer into Cloud’s multi-polygonal face in the hope of a bright future. And admire the hurricane action of Advent Children...

    What remains after

A few words about what happened, that is, specifically about the game. To be honest, technically FF7 is no longer a pillar. Not bad, although outdated graphics. Accurate, but at the same time completely uncharacteristic music for Uematsu - it was not received with a bang by many fans of the series, but this is the mood that permeates the entire game. Complete absence of speech. A new combination of oppressive cyberpunk and fantasy for classic JRPGs. Absorbing atmosphere, excellent plot and global development of ideas of the 16-bit era. The rest of the ranking...

    In search of objectivity

In order not to dissipate our own, it was decided to conduct an interrogation with partiality within the limits of the author's composition of RPG-mania. Answering the question, they had no idea what kind of text would be located above, and therefore no one was suppressed by authority and typed in their right mind and sober memory (at least I really want to believe...). By the way, I saw the text below when the review was already ready. In connection with this, there are interesting semantic intersections... The guys (and girls ^_^) tried their best and presented really detailed and interesting opinions. So, no matter how you feel about Final Fantasy 7, be sure to read it.

So what is Final Fantasy VII?

    Dark Sol

I played through FF7 almost immediately after its official release. Back then, there were very few games available at all. And at that time the game became a significant revelation. Voluminous, really voluminous, into which you could immerse yourself not for a couple of days, but for at least a week or two. A beautiful game, beautiful both in appearance (it was a long time ago) and in its scope, with an absolutely amazing plot that you immerse yourself in and read like an excellent book. I remember at first I was somehow not impressed, but as soon as my friend left my PlayStation for 2 weeks, I immediately forgot that sometimes I even need to eat and do something else. I got immersed and couldn't tear myself away until the very end. I remember seeing a man who pumped x-cut (or double cut, I don’t remember exactly) materia and about 20 all materia to the maximum.. horror... how normal I felt..

    Sheep Hunter

It just so happened that I played it after 10, 9, 8, 6, 5, 4, 1, Tactics Advance and MysticQuest parts. Therefore, there was something to compare with: 3 Well, like a plot. There’s not much to say here, because you have to figure it out yourself. It’s not that it stood out in any way, although, probably, at one time it was a shock - after all the minimally mechanized FF1-6, it was just like cyberpunk. Childish, a little, but that’s not the point.
Characters: the design is the worst (this is understandable, before this Nomura-san was only allowed to draw monsters for the game), the characters seem to be well-developed. One problem is that the main characters are kind of jerks. Well, except for Tifa. She is an unfortunate victim of the goatism of the main goats. And talking dogs and plush cats are here just for the ambiance, they don’t carry any special plot loads either.

The gameplay pleased me. At first, of course, it was incredibly boring: the matter is not pumped up, the levels creep, but do not give anything special... Oh, by the way, about tediousness, of which there is still a lot in this game. Well, besides walking through the snowy fields in search of Alexander (which I ended up never getting o_O), there is also raising chocobos. Perhaps this is the stupidest thing that could be invented with these overgrown chickens. In FF9, of course, it was also scary - but there, although this fuss with chocobs was drawn out, it seemed to be interesting and brought much more benefit than in FF7. On the second disc I struggled for a long time, but I still couldn’t get a blue chocobo. I spat on Vincent’s tricks and the coolest summon and moved on. Skipping all the Weapons, by the way (~_~). The worst thing is that the last bosses in the northern crater died like that. It was even easier than Kefka in FF6 +_+ I really don’t understand the fanboys who pump up all their spells with 9999 health... Well, certainly not for the sake of a mutated fagot Sephiroth:3

And graphics. OMFG. I'll keep quiet. Not, of course, a new console, that’s all... But the videos truly surprised me: the backgrounds in them were made very well, but the characters...
But still, beautiful pixels are better than crooked 3D

The music was turned off the entire game, because the emulsion x_x

Verdict: Must play. I'll have to u_u

    StormReaver

    Basic paragraph about FFVII:

Oddly enough, FFVII did not become an epoch-making event for me for many reasons: I became interested in JRPGs from 16-bit consoles, played it later than many PlayStation RPGs and, in fact, whenever EVERYONE is obsessed with something , I can’t drag myself away from this as a matter of principle. Although I cannot help but acknowledge its historical role. This is a kind of transition to a new level of aesthetic perception among games of the genre. The same level could be, say, the 13th or 14th part, if it gets rid of the idiotic love line (read, meaningless snotty kilobytes of text and a couple of kisses throughout the game, accompanied by “aylavya” or “aynidya”) and replaces it with a normal one such animal passion will be added to sex scenes, incest, rape of the main character by a squad of hungry Amazons, etc. will be added to the plot. etc.. In general, the game world was much more suitable for cinematic embodiment, which Advent Children proved to us. The main thing that the game takes away from is the characters. Mostly with a chic hair (well, even if mine is shorter...). In addition, FFVII proved that in addition to this, only two features are needed for success - the murder of everyone's favorite female character (coupled with spreading rumors about the supposed existence of the possibility of her resurrection) and the emerald floating bruiser (no, of course, there were many more powerful bosses in other JRPGs, but this was new to the West). That's all. The soundtrack is good, but not outstanding. There is not much originality - just old developments are balanced. But there is evidence that the above features will turn a blind eye to this. Everything would be fine if now the notorious FF series did not lead so many “imitators” into the swamp of oppression and casualism. And FFVII was the last FF to bypass this. That's why they remember. A curtain.

    Tais

Let's start pathetically: for all jrpg FF7 is the same as Pushkin for Russian literature, that is, “our everything”. Who dares to encroach on the right of the seventh final and to this day be jrpg No. 1 in the whole world? That's right, no one. [except for Ship Hunter – approx. E.P.] How many years have passed since the release of this, I’m not afraid to say, epic work, so much love for it. For what? And for everything. If you want to find fault with something, you will dig up a bunch of small flaws, but who will pay attention to them?
Plot? He is wonderful, and there is nothing to argue with that. Yes, the characters are developed differently than in Xenogears, yes, there are a lot of inaccuracies and holes in the plot, but these are little things, little things... But there are so many original and unconventional solutions, especially for the year of release! The main character, overcome by psychological complexes. The problem of choosing between two girls, but nothing to do with any hentai products, your preference does not affect the final result, but it adds ambiguity to the plot. A saga about saving the world, where personal problems come to the fore. A huge number of bright and memorable NPCs that influence the plot along with the main characters. Finally, the mega-super villain Sephiroth, who has earned universal popular love, and even though nothing is actually known about him to draw such conclusions, but what charisma!
What about the gameplay? He's almost perfect. And it’s not even about the combat system, but about the huge number of side quests, mini-games and everything in the same spirit; if you neglect them, you will miss almost a third of the game. And even if sometimes they are not so useful, but thanks to them you can get powerful weapons and summons, take two secret characters into your team and understand the storyline even better. And the famous “Golden Saucer”? How many hours will you spend there just for fun!
Graphics... Yes, now it looks modest, very modest, but... This is 1997, one of the first games for PS1, attempts to switch to 3D... No, I won’t scold, especially since the battles look very decent. And don’t forget about the huge number of videos that still look good to this day.
What about the music? Written by the eternal Uematsu, it perfectly accompanies the game and remains in the memory after completion. And accompanied by choral singing, “One winged angel” is simply a masterpiece.
Is there really anyone who hasn't played FF7? Probably yes, especially now that Advent children has been released, there will be people who have seen the film but are not familiar with the game. So hurry up and start searching! After all, all these numerous sequels/prequels that have been released or are promising to be released are just fragments of the former greatness, the first FF7, a real masterpiece.

    Echo-Pix?!

I've already perverted as much as I could in the title plate... What can I do - The Most Favorite Game and the Only Role Playing Game, completed three times. And don't look at me like that O__O

    Growth Scriptum:
Global thanks to Lord Hunt for popularizing the final in Russia. And because thanks to him I learned about this wonderful game. The party will not forget you, Comrade Pozharsky!

    Growth Scriptum, second edition
In addition to screenshots directly from the game (the first two, one in the paragraph “The Life That Wasn’t” and all in “What Remains After”), the article uses screenshots from FF7: Encyclopedia, FF7: Advent Children, FF7:Last Order, FF7: Dirge of Cerberus,
FF7: Before Crisis, FF7: Technical Demo for PS3.

SURELY
OF COURSE WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS
OF COURSE THEY RETURNED TORIYAMA
IN REMAKE

"Here, the scene that many of you have been eager to see, where Cloud disguises himself. Please enjoy."

Yes. Yes, Toriyama, we had no doubt that this scene was special for you too. That you actively enjoy it.

It was probably inevitable. Nomura can’t do anything on his own, we have to admit this and accept it as a fact. Kitase always had the same answer to any personnel question.

This does not make the desire to yell any less.

But. Please note: the game is already ready. Three months until release. They decided to highlight Toriyama only now, as part of an entire development team. He's not even in the top three there. He is below the main coder, who was not even part of the original ff7 team. It seems that Skvara finally understood that his place was at the bucket.

about ff8:
-Kitase: “at the beginning of development, Nomura had a cool idea on how to tie up and beautifully end the stories of Squall and Laguna, but we forgot about it in the process and completely forgot about it”
-Kitase: “all of Nomura’s characters turn out to be handsome boys, we had to ask him to make them rougher, including Irwin”
-Nomura drew Edea before ff7, trying to imitate Amano as an artist synonymous with the series; Raijin and Fujin Nomura made for ff7, but they were thrown out because they were too similar to the Turks
-Rama was not taken into ff8 because summons grow and are pumped there, and Nomura decided that there was no place for humanoids there, that summons in ff8 should look wild. Ito agreed: “You can’t raise an old man.” for the same reason Nomura drew Siren naked (hello to the remaster)
-Nojima: "Lagoon was designed to do what Squall couldn't." Nomura was always involved in the script and even wrote a whole guide to Rinoa
-the developers thought about making ff7 heroes with realistic proportions, but decided that after ff6 the jump would be too sharp

Kitase about ff10:
- “well, the developers who made mini-games with chocobos and lightning, of course, passed them. And I personally passed the lightning, but... (coughs, drops shit, runs off into the sunset)”
-The original segment in Zanarkand should have been longer. Well, that is, when I swore that the narrative there seemed torn, I was onto something
-ff10-3 no one is trying to do it, everyone is busy. hooray

The main question regarding the remake's combat system was - what should those who are used to calmly selecting commands from a menu do when you have an action game with rolls? here is the answer - skvarya added autoplay of auto attacks, blocks and rolls to the remake. in the new gameplay (see from 20 minutes), the automatically controlled cloud itself blocks all enemy attacks and even hides from the laser - all that remains is to choose magic and limits.
however, if you think about it, then all AI party members always work according to the same principle.

What else was new: squats at 31 minutes and bossfight with apse at 35 minutes. In principle, all that we learned there is that Iris’ auto-attacks are ranged and that the summon, after its scale expires, actually automatically performs an ult, as expected. Each character can take one summon materia into battle, the summon scale is accumulated by attacks (so it won’t work to go through the remake like the original FF7, spamming summons for every large pack of enemies).

Well, just look how delicious it looks.

What's interestnig:
- during the day in the slums the heroes are attacked by clots of gray sperm (Shepirova?)
-the sun shines in the slums during the day (previously Barrett complained that “pizza” was covering him up)
-when the heroes are riding on motorcycles, they are attacked by a motorcycle soldier (finally at least one living soldier, it was long overdue). looks like a blonde gladiolus. it seems like this is the only new character so far

-biggs, wedge, jesse and cloud parachute (!) from pizza to favelas
-the phrase about Cloud having mako eyes is now spoken by Rude. there is a boss fight with him in the slums
-Womencloud was not shown, only elegant Iris
-the kidnapping of Iris by Tson is no longer behind the scenes
-corneo looks like a yakuza boss. you can play darts like in the yakuza
-you can workout in the gym with homos not only for Cloud, but also for Tifa

-status magic is in place: Cloud was turned into a toad. No one had done this in Midgar before, but on the other hand, the gameplay didn’t really start in Midgar
-The president no longer goes to Barret himself, but sends a hologram, which is much more logical. he mentions wutai - perhaps the explosion of sector 7 will be blamed on him
- the summons showed: ifrit is fighting on the battlefield together with cloud. it has some kind of its own ruler: most likely, the action time

-it seems that there was some kind of deranged trash mob-chariot in the train cemetery: apparently, he was made the boss (we are waiting for a house with a chimney!). Shiva kills him, but she doesn’t have a stripe: most likely, using the ult removes the summon

-the heroes look at the ruins of the seventh sector from a column, and not from the sixth sector. this means there won’t be any stupid flying out on the cable)

No Gackt yet. So far so good.

As a bonus: I’ll save here a copy-paste from Gamescom 2019 about what the show there looked like.
