Unified State Exam in Biology early period. Personal experience: how the early Unified State Exams in biology and chemistry went

The early version of the Unified State Exam in Biology in 2019 is available to certain categories of people: graduates of previous years, those who study abroad or plan to leave after school for permanent residence in another country, who are indicated for rehabilitation or sanatorium treatment for medical reasons during the main stage of the exam, athletes (if the main wave of tests coincides with the date of the competition), students living in regions with special climate conditions.

Immediately after the spring stage, an early version of the Unified State Exam in Biology 2019 with answers, specifications and a codifier is posted on the FIPI website in the Open Task Bank. Answers to the early Unified State Exam in biology will help assess the current level of knowledge, identify weaknesses, and topics that need to be given more attention during preparation. In addition, schoolchildren who will take the test on a general basis have an additional opportunity to familiarize themselves with all the changes for the current year, the level of difficulty of tasks, and the criteria for evaluating work. Pre-term students have a more difficult time: since real Unified State Exam tickets are not available, they have to be content with the KIM options of previous years.

Don't limit yourself to training with just one demo!

Limiting yourself to training on demonstration options is not enough for full preparation. Try to cover all topics from the general biology course. Don't forget to pay attention to the sections that were studied in grades 6-7: botany, zoology. These will also be included in the questions on the exam papers. Particularly difficult during the exam are the tasks from the second practical part, which require not only knowledge of theory, but also the ability to solve problems in genetics and cytology.

As you can see, there is a lot to study. In addition, participants in the early Unified State Exam in biology do not have a lifesaver in the form of analysis of complex tasks from real tests of the current year. In fact, they don’t even know what awaits them in the exam, how long it will take, or how difficult the questions will be. In view of this, if you are guaranteed to get a high score, study with a tutor or in our online training center.

Especially for you, we have created video lessons on biology to prepare for the Unified State Exam. Our effective program is designed for 1 month of training. It is not overloaded with theory, but allows you to gain the knowledge that is necessary to pass the exam with a high score. Well-executed, interesting and exciting lessons are easy to understand, use all types of memory, thanks to which the information is quickly remembered. To assess the level of knowledge acquired and consolidate the material, we suggest taking a trial test online. The tasks for the tests are taken from KIMs of past years, and also compiled by our teachers according to the recommendations of FIPI. In terms of difficulty, they correspond to real ones, so there will be no surprises on the exam!

The Unified State Exam in biology is taken at the choice of a student who plans to enter a higher education institution with a certain specialization. In terms of popularity, this subject ranks 5th-6th every yearplaces, about 18% of schoolchildren pass it. Which universities require biology? This subject is taken in educational institutions in the following areas: medicine, biology, pedagogy with the specialty “Biology teacher”, agriculture, veterinary medicine, physical education, psychology, garden design, ecology, technical specialties where biology borders on physics. Professions: psychologist, ecologist, athlete, engineer, doctor.

The work consists of tasks that are conventionally divided into two parts. In 2018, there were 28 tasks: 21 - tests, you need to choose an option from the proposed ones, 7 - of increased complexity, you need to give a detailed answer.

The work is given 210 minutes - the student decides independently how to allocate time for answers.

The threshold score for admission to various universities depends on the requirements of a particular educational institution - this information must be clarified with the university.

  • The first part contains tasks on knowledge of theory and the ability to use this knowledge. Types of tasks in the first part: multiple choice (can be accompanied by a picture), establishing a logical sequence, solving problems, adding data to a table, analyzing data.
  • The second part aims to identify the characteristics and depth of knowledge of the subject. The purpose of such tasks is to test the ability to establish cause-and-effect relationships, draw conclusions, use theory in practice, justify one’s position, and think logically. It is this part of the test that is key in the selection process of potential university students.

The first part is checked automatically using a computer. The second is analyzed by specialists.

How difficult is the biology exam?

  • The main difficulty is the significant amount of information that needs to be repeated. The school course begins in grades 5-6, so when preparing you will have to “dig deep.”
  • Difficulties are also associated with the structure of the exam. High-quality theoretical knowledge does not necessarily guarantee successful passing of the Unified State Exam - you need to learn how to perform certain types of tasks. You can learn this with the help of a professional tutor or by taking an online test. Every year, tasks of a new type are introduced into the structure - you need to be prepared for this.
  • The most difficult topics are: photosynthesis, DNA, energy metabolism. It is better to contact a tutor for these sections and assignments on this topic.

How to effectively prepare for the exam?

  • The main thing is to listen carefully in class and study textbooks. This will provide a solid basis for successfully passing the exam.
  • Planning: systematic preparation requires a stable and thorough study of the material of the Unified State Examination program.
  • Self-education: read reference books, on one's own.
  • Take the online test.

The main advantage of online testing is the opportunity to develop the ability to solve tasks of different types and levels of complexity to the point of automaticity, and to correctly allocate time during the exam. It is recommended to prepare for the second part with a teacher or tutor.

We continue to share with you the personal experiences of the guys who have already passed the Unified State Examination test and passed the exams early. Schoolchildren give advice to those who are about to take the exam and tell what the situation was like during the exam. The next subjects are biology and chemistry.

Biology:

Alexandra Zakirova

I had to take the Unified State Examination in biology in a neighboring city – two to three hours’ drive from mine. The school was located very conveniently, practically at the entrance to the city, so we didn’t have to get lost for long.

In the school lobby I was asked to show my passport. We were escorted to the locker room and shown where the storage room for personal belongings and the lists of Unified State Exam participants were located. All things were signed and issued only with a passport.

Next, I had to go through the most nightmare procedure, in my opinion – a metal detector. You wait for your turn, take out your passport, hold it near your face (to make it easier to compare with the photo). If you ring, you remove everything metal, and the procedure is repeated again.

The inspectors at the frame were somewhat nervous; they grumbled at almost every student who passed the frame and held his passport below his face.

Afterwards we were taken to the office. Everything is according to the classics of the genre: all educational posters are curtained, all doors and lockers are sealed. Exactly at 10:00, the exam rules were read to us, after which we waited for the system administrator with a flash drive so that the CIMs would be printed out for us. It seems to me that this is very inconvenient, because it took about 40 minutes to activate, print and distribute the forms, but there is at least some guarantee that no one knows the tasks.

The questions were quite simple, in my opinion. It’s certainly easier than those published on various websites and published in books. This is very good, because when you can solve complex tasks, the Unified State Exam tests seem like a crossword puzzle.

Advice: don’t relax before the exam, repeat what pops into your head (it helped me - I found exactly what I repeated in a couple of hours), and don’t be nervous.
I took the Unified State Exam ahead of schedule in order to go to college this year after graduating from medical college.

Pavel Bazarov

The biology exam went without any glitches. It's surprising that the inspectors were calm.

I can say that the first part was not particularly difficult, but the anatomy tasks were confusing - that was my mistake. It was a little more difficult than the usual tests in the collections. The second part was easy, but I wasn’t sure about a few tasks.

I’m taking the Unified State Exam for the second time (I’m retaking it, that’s why I’m taking it early) and I’ll say that there’s no need to worry or worry. In addition, I advise you to work every day, but at the same time give your head a little rest.

Chemistry:

Nikita Dobrovolsky

I live in Belarus, so our DH (central testing - editor's note) The dates coincide with the Unified State Examination. I had to take it early in Russia.

Chemistry assignments are a mystery every time. You can be sure that you did everything correctly, but the error will be there.

Chemistry was of average difficulty. Part C was easier than the one I was preparing for. But part B turned out to be unusually difficult – already from the first task.

I would also like to note that the tasks have changed – two or three for sure. But the essence remains the same.

I was lucky and came across topics that I studied for the Olympiad, for example, about oil distillation.

Many people forget about the special properties of alkynes and reactions with acidified potassium permanganate - remember and repeat these topics.

Shamil Isaldibirov

The biology exam went smoothly, but I didn’t really like that the students were escorted to the toilet or, for example, they came up to me twice during the exam and told me not to understand CMMs in the air.

The inspectors are ordinary teachers who will always help and explain about the forms. The difficulty is caused by the cameras and the exam environment itself. A psychologically unprepared person can become nervous and forget a lot.

The tasks themselves did not raise any questions, but I think that anxiety will affect the scores.

I took the exam early because last year my scores were low. I entered a university, but I want to re-enroll in another and achieve my goal.
